Demon Emperor Prodigy System

Authors Note: Near the end—quite a bit of exposition. Sorry...

"With only two months left before my 3rd birthday, I found it important to focus on my weapon training."

"I had spent the last eight months training to become proficient in the use of weapons with Iblis and Orcust but also separately with Orcust in hand to hand combat. Even though my brothers were only 15 and 16, they were the best training partners as anyone more powerful than they were preoccupied with politics. Even my father lacked time as the conflict with other kingdoms has only increased with the other kingdoms of the Wolfonheart continent. The human realm known as Bravion had the highest demands, which they knew the Demon King would not be willing to fulfil. So even though I only know what I overheard, it seems humans are after starting a war for their benefit."

"I wonder if this was a case in my second life as the amount of information I had access to politically was limited."

Lucifer brushed his thick black hair back, which seemed to turn a slightly lighter shade of black with each year. Pulled his hand back down, and stated "Time to get ready," before pulling out a set of wooden daggers from his dimensional storage necklace.

Lucifer got into position and activated mana body rotation lv3 to try and catch up to his brother in practice. He was finally able to unlock lv 3 mana rotation after one more month to practice; it seems the closer he is to unlocking his system, the closer he is to unlocking his potential.

"I have to focus and surprise him," Taxon thought as he runs straight at Iblis.

"I will beat you this time, Iblis", Lucifer shouted as he began to close the distance.

Iblis, unmoved, responded, "Ok if you say so, and got into a fighting stance holding a shortsword and shield. Even though Iblis prefered long-range fighting, he was highly adept at the use of any weapon as he was a natural when it came to any type of learning, from fighting to mental knowledge and tactics.

As he saw his brother run towards him, he knew throwing his shield would not it might block his vision for a little bit but would not be much else other than a distraction, but the solution became clear to him.

"That will work," Iblis thought to himself as he began running towards his brother at a much great pace.

"I've got you now," Lucifer thought as he dropped his weapons to the ground and pulled out a mace and a battle axe. After throwing the battle-axe at his brother, he drew a shield from the dimensional storage necklace.

"I have to focus this is crucial; I have to hit his shield with the mace and parry the sword attack," Lucifer thought while the distance had closed between him and his brother, and he had to jump into the air to hit his brothers' shield.

Iblis pulled a feint, and Lucifer proceeded to try to hit his shield with the mace. Still, Iblis parried the blow, minimalising the impact, and while at the split-second obscuring Lucifers vision with the mace on the shield twisted his body, switching his shield from his right to the left hand and dropping his shortsword and while obscuring the vision of his opponent pulled out a longsword from his dimensional ring. Then, while his back was to his brother and obscured his brothers' vision, he aimed the longsword towards his brother and the hilt towards himself. He proceeded to hit his brother's forehead with the tip of the wooden sword knocking him to the ground.

"You seem to be quite skilful; you must have learnt a lot, but your moves seem awkward at times, and your moves are predictable."

Orcust cut in. "I think you are too harsh, Iblis not everyone can predict the opponents every move."

Iblis laughed "that is why you lost last time."

Orcust intercepted, "Do you wish to fight noodle arms again."

"Do you wish to lose again bird brains" Iblis rebutted.

"Thank you both for the training. Can I head back a bit early as mom and I were supposed to go to the market today? It would mean I miss today's martial arts training, but I hope that is fine." Lucifer asked both brothers.

"Why today she usually goes on Fridays, so still three days left, and she wouldn't want to intercept your training? Iblis enquired.

"She could have asked all 3 of us," Orcust suggested.

"I am pretty sure she did not do so to be able to clear her head," Iblis rebutted the idea presented by Orcust.

Iblis continued. "Between my apathy and your hot-headedness makes as pretty bad companions for someone that seeks some rest."

"Also, our constant arguments are not the easiest on those around us. I think we are better suited to help the King by giving impartial advice on the current conflict with the Bravion kingdom."

"Not to mention the fact that Lucifer may not be the oldest, yet he is still more mature than the average 3-year-old Demon." Iblis stated.

"Demons tend to grow faster than humans in a similar way to elves, where elves look younger, demons look older than they are. Demons at the age of 3 tend to look around seven and should have the mental capacity of a 14-year-old. Demons physically have an ageing process where they grow fast until they reach the age of 7, at which point the growth slows down.

On average, the Demon Race reaches the physicality of a 14-year-old at 7 and a 16-year-old at 14. Afterwards, the growth is pretty standard and similar to that of humans growing older at a more regular pace. Male Demons looking 20 years old at the age of 18.

Female Demons tend to look younger than their age after passing the age of 14 and looking 16, their growth stops, and at even 30, they may look as youthful as 18.

This is because male Demons evolved for fighting and female demons for producing offspring since the race was always within conflicts and always needed to increase the population.

Mentally demons grow rapidly due to their enhanced physical growth, increased perception, and demon nature which does not include many of the negative factors that slow down human mental growth, among other factors.

The superiority of Demon genes is one of the factors why Demons are a race that other races have worked to get rid of, and some races like humans kidnapped and cross-bred demons to increase their strength but still treated those cross-bred as disposable weapons. Humans also cross-bred with elves.

Even if one is superior in strength, that same strength is nothing if faced with unimaginable numbers." System finished speaking in Lucifers head as Lucifer never quite focused on the biology of Demons in-depth as over the recent months he had to focus on learning the language.

"Could I speak with humans using my knowledge of the human language?" Lucifer questioned.

"In a similar way to other societies, the knowledge of English in possession of the user would apply to the society from 800 years ago." Thus, the system had responded to the question.

Iblis and Lucifer began walking towards the castle.
