Demon Emperor Prodigy System

As Lucifer continued to reflect on his findings, he was grateful to the system. It turned out the system serves as a world encyclopedia of sorts where it can provide him with the vital information that he can then apply to what he sees while inspecting his environment. By observing what his family was, he had discovered the symbols on his brothers and his father.

Lucifer also realised that this world, unlike the one from his original life, always had people with abilities and races other than humans; as a result, people started to utilise beasts, crystals and mana as natural sources of energy. There was never a need for guns as using beast crystals for bullets would not be cost-effective as that was what some elves did with arrows before turning to hard metals and utilising beast crystals in the creation of bows.

Beats crystals were described within the system as "A solid material with a highly ordered microscopic structure, with most having a rigid, obelisk-like shape which sometimes contains side protrusions. A beast crystal contains the life energy of a beast, which can be used for alchemy, blacksmithing or as an energy source. Some beast crystals contain a beast's natural affinity towards an element or its willpower, allowing for a chance to unlock its ability".

As Lucifer spent another day reading about the world he had found himself in, which was the only thing he could realistically do, considering he did not know the language of demons. As an infant, he could not really train his body, so he at least wished to stay informed.

The days he had spent within the care of demons seemed quite normal what did surprise him was how much Iblis seemed to care about him and visit him; he never expected such a caring and affectionate demon to exist.

As Lucifer was bored from inaction, he tried utilising his skills from his previous life. Lucifer tried to use the technique for gathering life energy in his previous life known as qi, chi or even chakra, depending on the kingdom and its customs.

He began mediating when alone in the room. Lucifer could sense the mana all around him; it seems, even though the system restricted his use of it, he could still meditate and cultivate his mana centre. From what he had read of the world, demons are all in possession of a mana centre and able to use abilities. Due to demon biology, any demon unable to do so will die when outside the womb. Eleves would awaken their centres at the age of 5, with around 95 per cent of the population utilising mana in various ways, from the military to agriculture. Humans would awaken at the age of 10-14, which explained why their nation was naturally behind others and focused on harsh training without knowing what type of mana user they are destined to be, with only around 70 per cent of the population capable of using mana. Dwarves would awaken at the age of 16, with only approximately 50 per cent of the population utilising mana and, as a result, focusing on weapon creation.

Other Races such as Vampires and Werewolves had a 100 per cent awakening rate with no prescribed awakening age which led to ageism among those races.

As Lucifer mediated for the first 6 hours he realised, he had to absorb mana and refine it within the core of his mana centre and infuse refined mana into his centre, filling it up slowly. For something to grow, it had to be full first, but Lucifer had a few things that got into the way of meditation, first hiding it, so others don't notice. Secondly, his body having to rest quite quickly every time he began as a six-month-old body is not something that can handle high levels of strain. If Lucifer had been in a human body, he would have died from the strain he had been putting his body through.

Lucifer continued meditating and studying the information of this new world for the upcoming months.
