Empire Of Heroes: Fate X DanMachi

The morning of [Hestia Family] went as usual, Bell woke up before Hestia and cleaned up, went to the kitchen and ate the food made by Caster and trained for an hour with Saber. After training Bell put on the new armor that had been delivered to the church, the other three had to admit that the armor fit him like a glove. The three said goodbye to Hestia while she went to work.

When the three were near the |Dungeon|, Bell ended up stopping and looking at the other [Adventurers], in particular those who had a [Support] with them. Knowing who the [Supporters] were was very easy, as they carried a huge bag on their backs. Saber and Caster realized that he stopped and turned around.

(Saber): "What was Praetor?"

(Bell): "Nothing, just thinking it would be nice to have a [Support]."

(????): "Hey sir with white hair!"

Bell heard a voice behind him and turned, Saber and Caster stood beside Bell to get a better look at the person who spoke. What they found was a girl who was smaller than Hestia with a big bag, possibly bigger than her, a [Support], wearing a hood, and she was looking at him with a smile.

(Girl): "Sorry to bother you, but do you need a [Support]?"

(Bell): "Hey you are ..."

He was sure she was yesterday's [Pallum] girl, but since he hadn't discussed the incident with the others, Saber and Caster looked at Bell and then at the girl trying to find out if there was anything.

(Saber): "Control yourself Caster."

(Bell): "My name is Bell Cranel."

Bell fought all the monsters they encountered, Caster would only help him when he needed what happened near them to go to the |Sixth Floor|, when Bell was facing some <Kobolds> and one almost caught him from behind.

(Bell): "Right."

(Lili): "Why are you two making Master Bell fight alone?"

Lili was quite curious about these Bell swords and Saber's sword, but decided to be quiet. The group went down to the |Sixth Floor|, at first they found nothing but then they found a group of seven <War Shadows> staring at them. These monsters had the same body as a [Human] but all black, with a single red eye in the middle of what would be the head.

(Saber): "Praetor."

(Bell): "Right!"

Bell walked towards the monsters, after five steps, the monster closer attacked, he swung his arm that changed into the shape of a sword, Bell defended himself, but the moment the <War Shadow> arm touched the ' Promise of Light ', his arm is gone. It was how Bell and Saber suspected. The only weakness of the light is the darkness, the only weakness of the darkness is the light, as the monster was only darkness the 'Promise of Light' would be more efficient while there was a chance of 'Forgetfulness of Darkness' until helping them. Bell made a diagonal cut starting from the monster's left shoulder, he didn't even have to hit the eye to defeat him with a normal attack. The other monsters took a few steps back, realizing the danger, although Bell did not know if it was intelligence or if it was instinct, but he would not stand still.

He attacked the two closest to him, he pierced the eye of one, and when the other tried to attack him in the same way as the first he swerved to the left and cut the monster in half. The other one who was closest attacked and he was a little more successful, as he almost managed to hit Bell that narrowly shredded, but his bag was hit in one of the side pockets. What surprised all three was that at the spot where the bag was hit, a glow started to come out. Bell made another move and defeated the monster, leaving only three, who seeing that were left a little behind, so he decided to use those three to see one of his spells.

(Bell): "Ray of Light!"

Bell fired this spell, which released a completely white lightning, three times defeating a monster by spell. What was left of the monsters were just [Magic Stones].

(Lili): "Incredible, Lili can't believe that Master Bell is a novice." - as Saber had said that Bell was fighting alone to train, she thought of just one more novice, but his performance against the seven <War Shadows>, surprised her.

(Bell): "Lili is also amazing for being able to get the [Magic Stones] out of the monsters so fast."

Although some monsters simply disappear and leave the stones, others would need the person to remove them manually, which would be very time consuming at times, and there was a risk of breaking the [Magic Stone] which would decrease its value. But Lili just didn't have that difficulty with some monsters on the previous floors.

(Caster): "Saber, did you know that the 'Promise of Light' was going to have that effect against the <War Shadows>?" - the two were apart when she asked.

It was a light blue crystal that fit in his hand, the crystal had a ball like a kind of core that had the colors red, light green, an orange going to brown and a royal blue, mixed. He told about the four friends he made, before coming to Orario, he found them near the forest that was close to the farm that lived with his grandfather.

(Saber): "Have you seen them again?"

(Bell): "No, the last time I saw them was when they gave me this crystal, a week before I decided to come to Orario. I keep crystal close by as a lucky charm."

(Caster): "What about your grandfather, Master?" - she was really looking forward to meeting you.

However Bell made a painful expression which made her realize that she just stepped on a mine.

(Bell): "He died, after that I decided to come here." - he said in a slightly painful voice.

The other three were silent, Caster did not know what to say, after all due to her accounts Bell's grandfather died at the most two months ago, but Bell improved his spirits by keeping the crystal in the same place and asking Lili.

They found no difficulty as they proceeded to the |Seventh Floor|, Bell began to use magic against the <War Shadows>, who happened to not find many, while using the sword against the <Frog Shooters>, the only difficulty that the frogs were giving was that I had to remove the [Magic Stones] manually, removing it whenever they used the language the Bell would deflect and cut it off, while they were in pain because of the cut language, Bell ended up with a lunge.

They arrived on the |Seventh Floor| and Bell summoned his other sword, almost immediately they already found a <Killer Ants>, it was a red ant that hit Bell's waist and had jaws as big as his forearm. The place she was at was a fork, Bell looked at Saber and after she waved he attacked, she took some work because her carapace was very hard but there were areas that were not so he stuck his swords in the part that would be her neck and the ant went still.

(Saber): "Good Praetor!" - she said as Bell approached her and Lili was going to collect [Magic Stone].

At that time that things went downhill, the ant began to make several noises, and soon afterwards several others appeared from the two tunnels in front of them.

(Caster): "Did this ant call the mates?" - she didn't expect to find that camaraderie system.

(Saber): "Praetor deals with those on the left, destroy their heads." - She said while stepping on the head of the first ant they found and was going to face the ants that came from the tunnel on the right.

Bell waved and went to face them, he only managed to count about ten ants but he was sure he had more of them, for the closest he used the 'Ray of Darkness', which was the same thing as the 'Ray of Light', only that all black, and used all his strength to crack the heads of nearby ants with swords or piercing them. Caster helped him a little by hitting some ants that came up behind him with his magic. In the end, the ants with the crushed head remained there, but those that were hit by magic turned into a fog and left the [Magic Stones].

(Bell): "I didn't expect this one." - he was tired of that surprise attack, he had used a lot of magic.

(Lili): "Sorry, Lili didn't know they were going to do this." - She said while trying to help Bell.

(Caster): "Okay. It happens."

(Saber): "Praetor, wants to take a break or want to go back?"

(Bell): "Let's go back, tomorrow we will continue."

The way back was without any difficulty. When they left the |Dungeon|, the sun was setting.

(Bell): "Let's go to Miss Eina and change the [Magic Stones]."

(Lili): "Well, I'm going, guys." - she said quickly while handing over a bag that was all the [Magic Stones] they took for Bell.

(Bell & Saber & Caster): "Huh ...?"

(Lili): "Bye!" - she said while running.

(Bell): "Wait, Lili!"

Lili was kind of quick, even carrying that bag of hers. And quickly she made a turn and disappeared from view.

(Bell): "What was that about?"

He was very confused, he hoped he could present it to Eina and share the profits.

(Saber): "She didn't even wait for payment."

(Caster): "We can find it tomorrow."

That was enough to convince Bell and they went on to the [Guild].

(Bell): "One question."

(Saber & Caster): "Yes?"

(Bell): "Do we give her half the winnings, or do we give a fee per floor, or do we split between the four?"

(Saber): "Divide between the two of you."

(Saber): "Calm down, Praetor, we will find you."

(Caster): "Someone must have caught it."

(Bell): "But the crystal is completely black when it's not with me, I don't think it would call attention to someone taking it."

(Saber): "What do you mean?"

(Spirit): "Well, it doesn't matter how she was when you found it, now it is worthless." - he said in a disinterested voice as he returned the crystal to her.

She was exasperated, she was sure that crystal would be worth a lot, so she kept her purse in her room and left the store to find a place to sell that crystal.

(Lili): "When all that shine, how can it be worth nothing." - she murmured furiously while holding the crystal in her hand.

She continued walking down the store alley, but straightened up a little when she realized that two people were coming towards her holding a bucket each. It was Syr and Ryuu, who were taking that route to get the sheets. Lili tried to go unnoticed, trying to hide the crystal on her sleeve, when they went straight she was a little relieved, but the relief ended when she heard Ryuu's voice.

(Ryuu): "Stop there, [Pallum]." Syr stopped and looked at her after taking two steps.

Lili stopped immediately.

(Syr): "Ryuu?" - she was worried about her friend acting like that.

Bell separated from Saber and Caster to look for the crystal, after running he stopped in front of the alley, which happened to be the same as Lili and Ryuu were, and stopped to catch a breath.

(Bell): "Where..." - he was interrupted with someone crashing into him and knocking him over.

Bell sat down and looked at whoever ran into him, and was surprised at what it was.

(Bell): "Lili!"

(Lili): "Master Bell." - as he found it, her hood came out showing her ears.

Soon after, Ryuu ran out of the alley. When she saw who was chasing, she was a little surprised.

(Bell): "Miss Ryuu ..."

(Bell): "Syr too... Ah that's right!" - he said the second part while placing Lili who was still on top of her, on the side and stood up.

(Bell): "Did you happen to find an entirely black crystal?" - he was very desperate while talking.

Ryuu and Syr faced each other and faced Bell again.

(Bell): "My crystal..." - he said relieved and soon afterwards tears appeared in the corners of their eyes.

He ran over to them and held the hand of Ryuu who held the crystal.

Syr and Lili were surprised, Ryuu also because she did not think she would find one of these crystals in Orario.

(Bell): "Sorry guys! I will never lose you again." - he said as he headed for the crystal.

(Ryuu): "Do you lose it?"

(Bell): "Yes, I left it in the side pocket of the backpack, but it ended up tearing with a monster attack, so it must have fallen. Where did they find it?"

(Ryuu): "It had a [Pallum]." - she said that while looking at Lili.

(Bell): "[Pallum]?" - when he said that, Lili bowed her head a little.

Syr noticed Lili's movement.

(Ryuu): "Mr Cranel, if I may, where did you find this crystal?"

(Bell): "Some friends gave it to me before I came here, I keep it as an amulet, and it's the only thing I have from them." - Lili stood up but I'm still looking at the floor when he said that.

(Ryuu): "I see. So we're going."

When Ryuu said that, Syr approached Lili.

(Syr): "Don't be too childish." - she whispered just for Lili to listen, which surprised her.

When they both disappeared down Bell Street he looked at Lili.

(Bell): "I was going to look for you, Lili."

(Lili): "What was Mestre Bell?" - She said as she turned to face him.

(Bell): "Two things, first your payment. Half of what we make." - he said while removing a bag with money that had half of everything they got from the bag and handed it to her.

(Lili): "Huh ...?" - she was surprised by this development.

(Bell): "As for the second ..."

(Lili): "Wait, Master Bell!" she interrupted him in a surprised voice.

The person who answered them was surprised that the crystal turned black in his hand, but decided not to ask. Then the three made their way to the church, where Hestia was waiting for them.

(Hestia): "So how was it?"

(Bell): "Profitable, and we found [Support]."

(Saber): "Will she find us?"

(Bell): "I told her to meet at the same place and at the same time."

(Hestia): "Well with all the rush today you must be tired."

They ate and enjoyed each other's company, and so another day of the [Hestia Family] ended.
