Flower on the ash

She put her hand under the blanket and pulled my frock upwards till my stomach was completely exposed. My eyes went wide at the thought that Alex was in the same room. I became red and Aunt Sen noticed it.

" Why are you being shy? It's not like that your pregnant without doing anything." she said and laughed a little. I was too embarrassed to look at Alex.

" I'm going to put a gel on your stomach. It might be cold." she said and start putting something on my stomach. I took a sharp breathe when the cold gel touched my skin. Then she brought a wand-like thing and moved it around my stomach.

" See there's the gestational sac." she said and pointed at the screen beside the bed.

" I can't see it." I said.

" Well because you are in your early stage of pregnancy. It's very small. Overall you and your baby both are fine. But Anna, you should eat more nutritious food. Your body is weak" she said with a concerned face, looking at me. " And Alex I'll send the report to your house directly. Don't let Anna do a lot of physical work. When you do sex don't be too rough." she said and I became completely red.

" I-I will remember that." he said with an awkward face. Aunt Sen then wiped the gel off my stomach and pulled my frock down. I sit straight. I bent down to wear my shoes.

" Let me help you." Alex said and sat on his knees to help me with my shoes.

" Oh. See you both being all lovey-dovey. Young generation." she said and laughed. When Alex was done with my shoes we both stood up.

" Ok then. We will be taking our leave now." Alex said and took my hands in his.

" Ok. Take care Anna. You can come to me if you have any difficulty." she said and waved her hand. We left the hospital and was back to car.

" Can you drop me at the company?" I asked Alex.

" Why? Today's weekend." he asked.

" I know but I have a little work. It will be over soon." I said trying to pursue him.

" Ok. Then I'll stay with you in the company." he said and started the engine.

" What will you do there?" I asked. I don't want him to waste his weekend because of me.

" I'll watch you do your work." he replied.

" But~"

" No but." he said in between my words. I stayed silent and said nothing on this topic. I was missing Kelly. Since the parcel incident happened we haven't had our fun time with each other.

" Hey. Why didn't you tell me Kelly is living with Kelvin?" I suddenly asked him when I remembered.

" You didn't ask me." he said with a straight face.

" Huh. But why is she living with Kelvin?" I asked. I know that Kelvin is a good guy but still.

" I gave Kelly's security in Kelvin's hand. Whatever decision he will take will be alright and I know that if she is living with Kelvin, no-one will harm her." he said and I also thought that he is right. What Kelly need the most right now is a better protection.

" Have you found anything else about DragonRoars?" I asked Alex.

" Nothing so far. My men are still investigating it." he said. I can't understand how my sister set me up to bed with that DragonRoars or whoever he is. I wanted to ask her about it myself but she still hasn't came back from where she went.

We reached the company after several minutes of more driving. Me and Alex got off the car and took the elevator to our floor.

" Are you really going to stay here?" I again asked him.

I switched on my computer and sat in front of it and started doing my work. I was trying to complete this work for two days but it was making me more and more confused. I couldn't analyse this data correctly. My every hard work were proved abortive.

" Why are you so frustrated?" Alex voice came and I looked at him.

" I-I can't understand what I'm doing wrong in my analysis. But I know something is wrong." I said and masaged my neck a little.

" Let me see it." he said and stood up from the chair. He came and stood behind me, lowering his body so that he could see the computer screen and paper both at the same time. His face was really close to mine and his breath was falling on my neck giving me goosebumps but I tried not to show any uneasiness.

" See here's the problem." he said and started telling me what's wrong in my analysis. He is really a genius. He made me understand everything very clearly as if it was the most easy thing. 'I could learn a lot from my boss." I thought to myself.
