Flower on the ash

He finished his meal and smiled looking at me.

" Thanks for the meal." he said and kissed me on my cheeks.

" You're welcome." I replied.

" Now it's my time to feed you." he said opening the second box.

" No. It's okay. I can eat by myself." I protested.

" Come on. Open your mouth." he said and brought the food near my mouth. I accepted it as I knew that he is not going to listen to me. Alex fed me bite after bite and I ate it all.

I finished my meal and me both closed the lid of the box.

" Now let's continue what we left." Alex said looking towards me.

" What?" I asked. I was confused about what he was talking about.

" Don't act like you forgot. We were going to kiss but got interrupted." Alex helped me to recall. Then I remembered what we left in the middle and I blushed red.

" We should continue some othe~" before I could even complete my sentence Alex pulled me into a kiss. My eyes went wide. This kiss stayed for a longer time than our first one. It was a smooth kiss.

When he broke the kiss, I was panting hard.

" I think you should learn how to kiss." he said with a smirk on his face. I was red because of his intense kiss and he was making me even more red.

" Here. Drink water." he said and handed me a glass of water. I drank it all in one go. I was going to stand up but again Alex pulled me down.

" Sit here until the lunch breaks end." he said with pitiful eyes. I giggled at him.

" From tomorrow onwards, I'll tell one of my man to protect you." Alex said suddenly in a serious tone.

" Why? Is something wrong?" I asked him.

He nodded his head and said, "The man with DragonRoars account has been detected in this country."

" What?" I asked in shock.

" Yeah. The bomb-blast in Country Z was done by him." he replied. What's the relation between DragonRoars and us. First he was involved in Kelly's parent accident, then he or she whoever it is sent a threat to Kelly, then the bomb-blast in Alex's company. What does it want to do?

" My man will be watching your security 24/7. He will be your driver as well as your bodyguard from tomorrow." he said and I nodded my head. I didn't ask him any further. If he is saying that I should be with a bodyguard, it means that the situation is really dangerous. A person who killed so many innocent lives wouldn't dare to hesitate even a bit when it comes to kill the one he wants to kill.

" Did you talk to your dad?" Alex asked changing the topic. I shook my head as no.

" Then do it fast. I can't wait any longer for you to move in with me." he said leaning his head onto mine.

" I don't know how to tell him yet." I said to him.

" Then let me talk to him." he said raising his head and looking into my eyes.

" Don't worry. I'll make it fast to tell him about us. If I would need your any help I'll tell you." I assured him.

" Good." he said.

The lunch break ended soon and we both got up to do our work. I finished my today's work which took me half of an hour extra time. I sorted my things and when I was done I walked up to Alex's cabin. He was already sitting there free and waiting for me.

" Finally you are free." Alex said looking at me.

" Let's go." I said to him as I put my phone in my handbag. Alex stood up from his chair and we both went downstairs. We made ourselves sit in the car and Alex started his car.

" Don't forget to call me before you go to bed." Alex said while driving towards my house.

" I won't. " I said to him.

" Did you tell anyone about our marriage?" Alex asked me.

" I haven't told anyone yet except my Nanny. But she doesn't know who you are." I said.

" Yeah. After all she has taken care of me since I was small." I said with a smile.

" I'm grateful to your Nanny to take care of you till now. But now it's my responsibility to take care of my wife." he said and I smiled at his words.

" I love Nanny the most in my house." I admitted.

" Don't say that. You are making your husband jealous." he said and I laughed loudly.

" All mighty President of a big company is jealous of my Nanny." I said in between my laugh.
