Flower on the ash

( Alex's POV )

I aimed at the man whose sinful hands were going to touch Anna. The other two men started to come towards us to attack but I dodged and made my way towards Anna. Her legs were tied as well as her hands. She was wet with her shirt ripped open. My blood boiled at the sight of her. I quickly squated in front of her and untied her hands and legs. I took off my jacket and made her wear it and she started crying while taking deep sobs. My heart squeezed seeing her crying like this. She was quivering and her lips were trembling. I moved forward to hug her but she flinched a little so I quickly lifted her in my arms and told Kelvin and Jordan to see the matter while I took Anna outside.

The night was cold specially for her, who was all wet. I opened my car's door and sat on the driver's seat with Anna on my lap. Her hands were clutching the fabric of my shirt tightly and she was hiding her face in my chest. I firstly turned on the heater of the car and stroked her back. After few minutes Anna had stopped trembling.

" Anna." I spoke softly caressing her head. She didn't replied and just held my shirt tighter. I assumed that she isn't in a stable condition to talk so I started to drive towards my house. Anna remained in the same position throughout the drive and didn't utter a single word. When we arrived at my house I got off the car and took Anna to my room. I made her lay on the bed. She must be traumatized because of what she just went through. I quickly took out my phone from the pocket and called Kelvin.

" Hello." Kelvin said.

" Bring Sophia to the secret room and give her special treatment." I said. My blood was still boiling on the thought of how lowly she could fall to order her men to **** her own sister.

" Ok." Kelvin replied and I ended the call.

I looked back at Anna. She was still laying on the bed in the same position I laid her with her eyes wide open. I could see the remnant of tears on her cheeks which was dried now.

I walked over to her and sat beside her.

" Anna." I said touching her head. Her head was swollen from the side and her lips had dried blood on it. I touched her lips with my thumb when she turned her gaze to see me.

" Let's take a bath." I said to her and picked her up and walked up to the bathroom. I filled the bathtub with warm water so that Anna could relax in it.

" Here." I said and moved my hand towards her when she flinched. I was shocked to see that she got sacred of me but I could understand her trauma.

" I-I'm sorry." she said. I knew that she was feeling bad for flinching from my touch.

" Don't be." I said. I put her in the bathtub with her clothes on. She sat there quietly for a moment but after that I noticed tears forming in her eyes. I touched her back gently when she suddenly hugged me and started to sob on my shoulder.

" I-I was so s-scared. I t-thought no-one is going to save me. I-If you didn't come in time I must have been r-raped by them." she said crying heavily on my shoulder.

I stroked her back until she stopped crying. I took her out of the bath and gave her towel and my shirt so that she could get changed. I notified her that her belongings will be here tomorrow.

When she had changed her dress, I dried her hair and tuck her in the bed. I sat beside her until she fell asleep. I pecked on her forehead and came out of the room. I locked the door from outside. I took my car keys from the side table in the hallway and started to drive towards our secret area. Mainly this area belonged to Jordan but we also use it when needed.

I pulled over my car and went inside the building. I went straight to the last room where Sophia's screams could be heard.

" What the hell are you doing?" Sophia screamed in anger and pain.

" Shut up!" Jordan roared and whipped her. Sophia's hand was tied above her head with the chains as well as her legs. Her body was full of bruises.

" Is everything done?" I asked Jordan and Kelvin who were watching Sophia's torture. They turned around when heard my voice.

" Yeah. Mr.Evans is gonna face a big financial crisis by tomorrow." Kelvin informed me.

" Let the police take this matter now. I want her to rot in jail." I said.

" Y-You can't d-do this t-to me. I'm your s-sister-in-law." she said. Fear evident in her eyes. I scoffed at her words.

" Sister-in-law? Who treats her own sister like you did? I promise to make rest of your life hell as a good brother-in-law." I said and left the place. I was feeling a little calm after seeing Sophia in this state. I won't let anyone harm Anna till I'm alive.
