Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

When Oberon heard the ringing noise of the bells, he understood that it was time for him to face his mortal enemy. The bells were at the barren ground behind the castle—and the challenger who is supposed to call out the King for a duel is supposed to ring the bell in the tower. 

Cynthia, who was now seated at the edge of the bed, smirked at the Fae King. "Your time has come, Oberon! It is time now that you are going to pay for your sins—"

"No," Oberon almost shouted in fear. "I have never lost a battle, remember?! I will find a way to win this to—"

Cynthia's powers might have been suppressed by the dead rock chain. Yet, she was able to sense that Oberon was terrified by the call of bells. He paced back and forth for a few seconds and then he came near Cynthia. 

Oberon released her from the dead rock chain and he wrapped the chain around her pale neck. Then he dragged her out of the room and took her downstairs. But Cynthia wasn't offended by the way he dragged her as if she were a cattle. She knew that he was moving near and near to his doom. She could only pity this man!

Theo has been at the peak of his anger before. It was when Celestia got attacked by the Incubus. Now he was furious just like that! He shook the string of the bell rapidly without even letting it halt for a second. He waited and waited for Oberon to get out of the castle. He was losing his patience as time went by. 

He wanted to slay Oberon now! He dreamt of this day for a thousand years—and it had finally arrived. Ever since he was five, his only aim was to destroy Oberon! His vengeance burned him for all these years like the hellish fire. But when he came to know that Oberon had abducted Cynthia, the fire in him got multiplied. 

Celestia was determined to eradicate Oberon too, but she was getting worried about Theo. She wanted him to stay sane. Insanity will never yield a good outcome. But Theo wasn't in his usual self. The Anti-Angel in him had completely taken over him and he was ready to burn up the entire castle if Oberon didn't come out soon. 

Behind them, Ivory was holding Darius hostage, and she had her dagger to his throat. She always wondered why Theo was keeping Darius in the dungeon and refused to release him. Now she got the answer to that! Theo knew that Oberon would not play fair. So he had his son imprisoned for a long time even before the war. Theo is smart, but when anger takes over him he loses his mind. And right now Ivory could see that he was losing his mind. She then prayed to the moon goddess that Theo should control his anger and regain his senses. 

But when Oberon appeared at the spot by dragging Cynthia like a cattle by chaining her neck with a dead rock chain, both Ivory and Celestia understood that they had lost Theo for good. Now Anti-Angel was more furious than ever. The Anti-Angel finally stopped ringing the bell and moved near Oberon. Bright red flames came out of his palm and he was ready to shoot him with his flames.

Celestia immediately ran to Theo and held his hand. "Calm down, Theo! If you attack him now, you will end up attacking Cynthia too—"

Theo was still burning inside yet he obeyed Celestia. He lowered his hands down but still, his flames were glowing. "You coward," he roared like a wild panther. "If you are a man, release the Siren Queen and fight with me—"

"Well, my son…. I have different plans," Oberon stressed the word son on purpose just to mess with Theo. And it worked! Theo got even more agitated. It was his plan after all! He wanted to fuel up Theo to his highest point and make him lose his senses so that he would trick him when he was vulnerable and defeat him. 

But Celestia was an Angel now and she was able to sense others' motives. She held Theo's burning hand and tried to calm him down with her powers. They both were one now! And no force was powerful enough to defeat them when they were together. 

"How about we let go of the ladies?! You and I can settle down our conflicts by battling face to face," Oberon made an offer to Theo. 

"I agree to that," Theo immediately said. 

"No…." Celestia shouted. "Theo, don't you remember our plan? We both are supposed to face him together! Or else he will trick us and let us lose—"

Theo was Anti-Angel now and the words of the sweet Angel didn't reach his ears. He immediately let go of her hand and signaled Oberon to release Cynthia, which he did immediately. Then both the Alpha males moved closer and Theo himself created a shield around them both. 

Celestia couldn't believe her eyes. Is Theo really planning to face the Shadow Lord alone?! But he is just an Anti-Angel! He can't win against the Lord! He needed her help or else he would lose the battle. She moved near the invisible barrier and tried hard to break it with her golden flames. But she couldn't!

"Theo, please let me in," she cried. Theo turned to her and said, "This was always my plan, Celestia! I never intended to involve you in this. I should face him and defeat him alone or else I will never get peace—"

Celestia noticed that his eyes were green when he said that. It means that he is just Theo and not the Anti-Angel speaking. If this was Theo's plan then why did he have to give her Angelic powers? 

"Because Celestia, if I die in this battle, you will be the last hope for others. You will have to protect others. So that's why I gave you your powers before this," he said to her and focused his gaze on Oberon.. Then red flames came out of his palms again. "Come on father, let us end our conflict once and for all—"
