Lilin was in a knife to knife battle with the serpent princess Lyra. Ever since she heard the news about her lover's death, she had been waiting for this moment. She was so much looking forward to ripping her throat and setting her on fire.

But Lyra was sneaky and a good fighter. She turned herself into the form of the serpent and she dodged all of her attacks. Lilin was starting to get impatient. She wanted to kill her now! The vengeance and fury in her heart were driving her insane. Lyra took advantage of that and she bit Lilin's arm with her poisonous fangs.

The venom of the serpent was extremely dangerous. It would kill any living entity within a few minutes. But Lilin was not any other entity. She was the Anti-Angel! And she couldn't be controlled and destroyed by the venom.

After taking a moment to heal her wound, Lilin grabbed Lyra's greenish scaled tail and set it on fire with her red flames. Lyra, who was confident so far that she could win the duel, started to scream in pain and agony. Serpents had very little resistance to bear the fire.

Once Lyra fell to the ground as she couldn't bear her pain, Lilin took out her spear and stabbed her right on her throat. Even when Lyra was fluttering on the ground while slowly dying, Lilin was not satisfied. She was still feeling regret. She thought that she should have killed this snake when she had heard about its existence.

Lyra had killed many Shadow warriors with her venom by seducing them. But Lilin didn't care about it back then. After she came to know that Lyra had seduced her lover Aaron and killed him, she got hysterical. Then she regretted her ignorance of not eradicating this snake before.

When the snake girl's body was entirely on fire, Lilin thought about the quote which her mother always tells her. 'Put off the fire before it ignites,' her mother used to say to her. Now she understood what it really meant to her.

Then Lilin realized how right her mother was every time. She always gave her the best advice. She had told her to not fall in love and warned her that it would break her heart—but she didn't listen. She thought that her mother didn't want her to be happy. But now she understood that her mother didn't want her to feel the sadness and pain of losing a loved one. Nothing hurts more than losing your love and when your ignorance was the reason for your lover's death, it hurts even more than burning in hell.

Just when she was about to break down, her mother came to the spot and wrapped her in her arms. "Lilin, it's alright! You have avenged the death of your lover. Let us get out here now—"

"But mother, Aaron will never come back from his death," she started to cry in front of her mother. She knew that her mother would yell at her if she cried like a weakling in front of her mother—but she didn't care. She was already burning inside and what worse could her mother do to her?!

But surprisingly her mother didn't yell at her. She just patted her raven black hair and said, "Get it all out, Lilin. Once you overcome this pain and heartbreak you will become stronger than ever. Then nothing will ever hurt you in your upcoming days."

Lilin nodded and sobbed for a few minutes in front of her mother. After that, they both walked out of the castle. Lilin managed to keep a courageous face when she faced the Shadow warriors. Then suddenly she sensed the presence of a light entity lurking behind her.

She walked away from her spot and went in the direction from where she felt that presence. As she went near the backside of the castle, the presence got stronger. Then she was greeted by the faces which she always despised. What are the Faes and Sirens doing here?!

Darius who always takes the higher authority and starts the talk with others was surprisingly silent this time. He was intimidated by the ferocious Demon Princess. Even Edwin didn't step forward to start the conversation. Amelia sensed the tension in the air and she stepped forward to do the deed of speaking.

"Princess Lilin," she bowed down to her. "We are in need of your help desperately—"

Lilin wanted to set the red-haired pretty Siren girl on fire with her flames. How could she even think that she would help them?! Since Amelia was a gifted Siren, she was about to read her mind. After reading the thoughts of Lilin, she decided to use her alluring power to convince Lilin.

"Princess Lilin, I know what you are going through right now," Amelia said in a sweet voice. "You just lost the love of your life, I can feel how heartbroken you are—"

"No, you can't know that! How did you even know that?!"

"Well, Princess! There is a girl in the Celestial realm who is going through the same pain that you are experiencing in your heart. She will be needing your help to heal!"

Now Lilin was completely drawn by her alluring words. She wanted to say yes to everything that she asked her to do. But the task she said seemed impossible for her to do. She herself was struggling to stay strong. How could she help someone else who was experiencing the same thing as her?!

"You don't have to worry about that Princess! Just come with us. We will tell you what to do! And by helping others you can also heal faster—"

"Okay," Lilin replied. "I'll come with you—"

Amelia knew that what she did was wrong. Using her alluring power on Lilin was not a good idea. Once Lilin comes out of her enchantment, she will probably attack her. But she had no other choice to convince Lilin.. Celestia's life was hanging by a thread now and if she doesn't do anything soon, then she might die! Amelia was willing to do whatever it takes to save Celestia's life.
