Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Chapter 73 - I Should Trust Him For Now.....

Celestia's POV:

"My love, are you okay now?" Theo let out a whisper.

"I am fine," I told an untruth. I wasn't completely okay. How could I be? I just don't know what is real anymore.

Theo then parted away from me. "Celestia, there is still one stage left. After you are done with that, you will be able to use your full potential. You must do the final stage because there will be peace in all the three realms only when you complete stage seven."

I was too scared to ask him about stage seven. Because stage six involved this much chaos, then the last and final stage must be even worse than this! But still, I was curious to know about it.

"Can you please explain to me about the final stage?" I asked him.

Theo broke eye contact with me and pulled up his sleeves of the robe. I noticed that he did this whenever he was uncomfortable about something.

"Celestia, you might not like what I am going to say," Theo began. "You are not just meant to be a warrior. You are supposed to be the Queen of the Celestial realm."

"But I told you before about it. I don't want to be the Queen. I just want my people to be safe, and I can do that even if I am just a warrior," I replied as politely as I could because I didn't want him to know that I am still frustrated with him.

"I know that you don't want to be the Queen," he responded and met my eyes. "I have already told you about this before. That is the answer to everything! The Dawn is supposed to rule the realms. That is why you were born."

"But if I am supposed to be the Queen, then Father Oberon would have told me about it. He told me that I should be a warrior and battle with the dark forces!"

Theo smirked at me when I mentioned my Father. "That lame King Oberon deceived you, Celestia. He didn't want to give up his throne for a newborn child. That is why he portrayed you as a warrior in front of everyone. He made you change your destiny."

This is new! Is my father actually at fault here? Am I really supposed to be the Queen? But my father was a good person. I was an orphan kid, and he let me call him Father! He loved me a lot, and he treated me no different from Darius, even though I was not actually his daughter.

"Father Oberon could not have misled me and his kingdom," I said out firmly. "He might be partial and ignore the lowlanders, but he is loyal to the Highland Faes. If I am supposed to be the Queen, he would have told me about it."

Theo shrugged off. "Celestia, you still don't know the truth about your father. I know that it is hard to believe for you as you grew up idolizing your father. But the truth is he will do anything to save himself and his throne."

This is not believable! I don't buy it. My Father is a devotee of The Holy Aiden, and he has got countless boons from God himself. If he is at fault, then the God of Fire would not have answered his prayers.

It is useless to argue with Theo. He hates my father so much, and he will never agree with me at all. But I trust my father. He has ruled the Celestial realm for all these years, and people are okay. It is best if I don't interfere in my father's ways.

"Theo," I mumbled. "If I try to perform my final stage, I think that it will cause a disaster in the realm. Instead of providing peace, I will be creating chaos in the realm."

Theo shook his head at my statement. "My sweetness, without eradicating the darkness, the sun can't bring light to the land. Same way, without causing a little chaos, you can't bring eternal peace in the realm."

I was finally able to comprehend what he was saying. How does he even come up with quotes like that? But I am not going to change my mind because of that. I stared at him blankly without saying anything.

Theo then held my chin and said, "I understand that you don't want to be the Queen, Celestia. And I am not going to force you on this. Because you are the Dawn, and it is for you to decide."

"Then I have decided not to disrupt the peace," I confessed.

"And I respect your decision, my love." He touched my lips with his and moved away from me quickly.

"Theo," I said. I need you to promise me something."

"What is it, my sweetness? Just tell me the word! I will do anything for you," Theo replied.

I smiled a little when he said that. "Then promise me that you will not cause chaos anymore. You will not ally with the Shadow creatures and disrupt the peace in this land."

Theo knelt on the ground immediately and bowed down to me. "I promise that I will not cause chaos anymore. I am going to cut off my connections with the Shadow creatures. And I am sorry for doing all those things against your will. From now on, your will is my will."

I was impressed by the way he agreed with me immediately. I made him get up from the ground, and I put my arms around.

"Please remember this, my love. You are the only thing that I care about," Theo assured me.

I didn't find a reason why I should not trust Theo now. He agrees to everything that I say, and he even promised me that he would not repeat this. And he justified that he did everything to help me in unleashing my inner powers.

I am an Angel now, and the credit goes to Theo. His strategy might have been wrong, but it made me realize my true form.. If this had not happened, then it would have probably taken me a long time to unleash my powers. Perhaps I should just trust him for now and give him another chance!
