Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Chapter 74 - I Will Get My Chance To Defile You

Celestia's POV:

After the sunrise, Theo and I went back to the cottage. The Mages applauded and rejoiced for us. I kind of felt like I didn't deserve their appreciation because all of these attacks were already planned by Theo carefully.

No one was ever meant to get hurt! This was all a test for me to help me in unleashing my inner powers. But I can't say that to these people. I don't want them to lose their faith and hope they have now.

The lowland Mages have suffered a lot in the past. Father Oberon never cared about them, and they were always in a vulnerable state. Only now am I able to see the true happiness in their faces. And it is not like this situation will repeat itself.

I insisted to Theo a while ago that these people deserve to know the truth. But Theo told me not to do it as it would inflict fear among these people. And Theo promised me that he would never pull out something like this again.

So I decided to hide the fact from these people even though I felt very guilty about this. Hiding the fact is equal to lying. But this is the only option I have!

Lord Magnus and his daughter Marilyn came to us. Marilyn seemed normal now. Her lower part of the gown was burnt and worn out a little. Other than that, she seemed fine to me.

"Thank you so much for saving my daughter's life," Lord Magnus said. "I never knew that my daughter was possessed by the Drude. Whenever she acted oddly, I thought it was just her."

"Lord Magnus, please don't thank me. I am glad to know that Marilyn is normal now," I responded to him.

He then looked at me, and then he laid his eyes on Theo. "I have a proposal to make to the Silver Shadow and the Dawn, so I invite you both to the Emerald place for the court meeting."

"Okay, we will be there," Theo answered.

I wondered what more requests the Mage Lord has. I thought everything was resolved in the Valley regions!

I had no good fabric with me, and I had very little time to make a new gown for myself. But Ember helped me with it. She offered me pink fabric, and she even decorated my gown with charm spells.

"Do you know what all of this is about?" I asked Ember while she was doing my hair. She was trying to bring out curls in my hair.

"I have no idea either," Ember replied. "I was in the highlands for the past few months. I don't know about any of the recent events that have been happening here."

I let out a sigh. So I will get to know about it only after I reach the emerald palace.

Soon Ember was done with my makeover. When I looked at my reflection in the mirror, I wasn't even able to recognize myself. Ember has dressed me up like a doll!

My hair was knotted up in a bun, and my stray hairs were curled that framed my face elegantly. She had colored my lips pink with the help of the Peonilla flower's petals. My face looked much more attractive than it was before.

"I mistook you for a warrior girl. But you are more than that," I said to her.

She beamed at me and said, "I am a lot of things!"

At that moment, Theo got in the room. His gaze was casual at first, but it got intense when he saw me. Ember understood the situation, and she immediately ran away from the room.

"You are making me blind with your beauty," Theo complimented me. He was suited up in his silver armor that had the symbol of the crescent moon in it. I moved closer to him and touched his arm.

"You look gorgeous too," I said.

"I want you so badly now, Celestia. I want to kiss those pink lips until you go out of breath. And I want to stab my chisel inside you until you scream and cry out my name a lot of times. Unfortunately, we have to leave now," Theo said and gave me a peck on my forehead.

"I am glad that we are leaving now," I said just to taunt him.

"Don't be too happy, my love. I will get my chance to defile you after that," Theo announced and scared me a little.

The afternoon sun was scorching in the Valley regions. Theo and I got into the emerald palace. The palace was a little smaller than the Southern Lord Arcadia's castle. But still, the architecture seemed to be grand from the outside.

This palace is considered the most expensive monument in all three realms because the entrance of the palace was decorated with pure emerald stones.

But the interior was not that glamorous, and the designs in the ceiling and the pillars were very bland. I was almost shocked when we both got into the courtroom as it was very simple.

The only thing that was bright in this room was the emerald throne. It was made entirely out of emerald crystals. I realized that if it weren't for these green crystals, this palace would not have been called as expensive at all.

The courtroom was filled with subjects and warriors. Lord Magus was seated on his emerald throne, and he was wearing a green crystal crown on his head. Marilyn was standing beside her father's throne.

When I saw her, I remembered myself. I used to stand next to my father's throne just like this during the courtroom gatherings. I became sad when the wave of nostalgia hit me.

There is nothing I can do about it now. My father has banished and disowned me. I lost the status of being his daughter! I tried hard to forget about that and focused my attention on the Mage Lord.

"I welcome the Dawn and the Silver Shadow to my court," Lord Magnus began with his speech. "You two are the reason why my people are safe today. I have no words left to thank you both."

I wanted to say out loud that he doesn't have to thank us, but I kept quiet. The Northern Mage Lord then got up from his throne and came to us. He stood in front of Theo and took out his emerald crystal crown. What is he doing?

"Silver Shadow," Magnus said in a loud tone. "Even though I am the Lord of the Valley, I was not able to protect my people when they needed me the most. I would have lost nine of my mage warriors if you and the Dawn had not stepped in to help us. I am clearly weak and not worthy enough to rule this region. So I request you to take over me and become the new Lord of the Valley."

Everyone in the courtroom, including Theo, was speechless for a while. I was stupefied!

"No, that is not necessary," I shouted out after a while and broke the lingering silence in the courtroom.
