Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Chapter 80 - Come Back To The Emerald Palace...

Celestia's POV:

Darius forbade me from battling with Theo directly. He assured me that we would be able to find a way out of this. And he was right! Holy Aiden would never let the dark side win.

It has been a million years since the creation of this universe. Until now, the Dark side has never been able to defeat the Light. This is the law of nature! Darkness always ends in doom while the light shines bright.

So now only the Almighty can give me the answers. Tangerine and I went to the backside of the cottage when the early morning sun was shining in the sky. I knelt on the ground in the direction of the East and faced the sun.

I clasped my hands together and prayed to the Sun God for redemption. But while I was halfway through my prayer, Daviana interrupted me.

"Celestia, why are you out here? Come inside now," she called out.

Why do people keep interrupting me while I am in prayer? I got up from the ground and stared at her. "I was about to finish my prayer. Why did you have to disturb me now?"

Even before I finished saying that, white fumes emerged on the land, and a couple of Siren girls appeared in front of me. One of them was Ivory!

"I knew you would be hiding out here," Ivory smiled at me.

Immediately, golden flames emerged in my hands. "Stand back, or else I won't hesitate to attack you," I screamed at the girls.

But they didn't attack me. I noticed that Ivory wasn't even armed at all. Both of the Sirens were wearing a simple long gown. Ivory took a step forward to me even after she saw my golden flames.

"If you come back to the Emerald palace now, we won't be having a problem," she said.

"Or else what are you going to do about it?" I yelled at her and emitted my flames at her. But she dodged my attack at the right time. I realized that my powers were strong today. I can use my Angelic powers now!

"You two don't stand a chance against me. It would be better if you both run away from here," I warned them.

Ivory didn't move back even after she almost got attacked." We are not here to fight with you, Celestia. Silver Shadow has instructed us not to attack you. Just come with us."

I am not going to come with you," I screamed and unleashed my flames at them. But all the flames that I cast out were neutralized by an invisible shield. I didn't have to look around to know who saved the Sirens by conjuring a shield.

"Silver Shadow is here," Daviana shouted. "Celestia, get in the cottage now!"

What is the use of going in there? I turned to the trickster who wrecked my life. This is the maddest I have ever seen him. The angry glare of his sea-green eyes almost burned my skin.

"Come to me, Celestia," he said in a deep and intimidating tone. "You know that you belong to me!"

"No, I don't," I shouted back. "I know everything about you now! You won't be able to trick me anymore."

A smirk formed on his lips when he walked closer to me. "What do you even know about me, Celestia?" he yelled out the top of his voice.

My whole body shuddered at his tone. I tried hard to stand still on my feet as the distance between us got less.

"Do you know everything that happened to me? Or do you even know what my full name is?"

I realized that I don't know his complete name. But that is not important! Theo is trying to divert me with his words.

"I am not interested in knowing you anymore," I cried out. "Because you are nothing more than a trickster. You are a power-thirsty demon who desires to rule the whole realm. And I am not going to let that happen. I will eradicate you!"

Now there was just a half feet distance between both of us. Till now, he has never actually frowned at me this way.

"You can't attack me or stop me, Celestia, because you and I are one! So why don't you come with me now?"

I chuckled a little. "I would instead jump into the abyss of torment instead of living with you."

"Celestia," he said and cupped my face. Tangerine, who was on my shoulder, began to screech at Theo. "Please come with me, my love. Your hostility is killing me!"

"Get… your… hands… off… me," I said and stuck my flames at him multiple times. Theo didn't even have his shield up. My flames should be burning his torso right now!

But my bright flames did nothing to his skin. They just burnt his white robe a little, and that was it! Why isn't he hurt?!!!

"I told you so," Theo smiled at me. "You and I are one! You won't be able to destroy me even if you try."

How is this even possible?!!! Is it because of the oath of eternity?!! I got dazed.

Theo then held my hand firmly. I struggled hard to release my hand from his grip. "Let me go," I cried.

Tangerine went frantic when she sensed that I was in trouble. She then got off my shoulder and flew around Theo. She tried to peck Theo's head with her beak while I tried to free my hand.

Theo, with his other hand, took out his Silver dagger. Even before I could process everything, he cut her bright orange wing with his blade.

Tangerine fell on the ground and squealed in pain.

"No...….." I shouted.

I immediately got down on my knees and picked her up from the ground. Her one wing was lying separately on the grass. My gown got drenched with her red blood as I placed her in my lap.

"Tangerine," I began to cry. I tried to pick up her detached wing, but Theo took it from the ground before I could even touch it.

"I have the power to heal this bird. But I will only do it if you agree to come with me now," Theo demanded.

"I will come with you! Please heal her," I pleaded with him.

Theo flashed a wicked smile at me and took Tangerine in his hands. He placed the detached wing back on her, and he chanted something in the demonic language.

He is healing her with the dark spell! But I didn't stop him because I wanted Tangerine back at any cost.

Soon her wing got reattached to her body, and she became normal. She then flew back to me and caressed my cheek with her head.

"Now come with me, my sweetness," Theo said. "And your pet Tangerine can come with you too!"
