Hammer 40k: Far East Storm

Chapter 51: The Spiritual Tribe

It took Li three days to catch up with his target after embarking on the pursuit.

Through the scope on the sniper rifle, Li carefully observed the activities of the Eldar from a distance, and the patient and meticulous observation and tracking continued for another three days.

In three days, Li did not gain much, he just silently watched one quiet fight after another.

In Li's scope, there was a small team of rangers led by a ranger leader. There were about four rangers in total within Li's sight. They cooperated with each other very skillfully, and there seemed to be more than two such teams, which means that there are now a total of twelve rangers in the jungle. This number was sixteen three days ago. In these three days, five Eldar rangers have died from the shooting of energy arrows, and the ones who were killed were the pursuers.

This is a war between rangers, which is not difficult to confirm. Only traces of Eldar energy weapons were left on the battlefield where they fought. Interestingly, in such a brutal battle, the roles of hunter and prey are constantly changing, and now it seems that the pursuer does not have much advantage.

Li lay in a bush, and the optical camouflage cloak showed the green of the jungle, naturally becoming one with the surrounding environment. Li strolled leisurely through the dense trees.

So Li carried the gun on his back and slowly walked out. He approached the Eldar cautiously and patiently. With the help of the jungle and stealth equipment, he slid silently through the grass like a ghost and quietly sneaked behind the Eldar.

Suddenly, like a venomous snake, Li jumped up suddenly, holding the Eldar's chin with one hand and lifting it slightly, while the dagger in the other hand pressed against the Eldar's throat at the right time.

"Hello, Eldar," Li whispered, "What's special about me?"

"You can sneak up behind me without me noticing. Are you a human or a ghost?"

Li gently cut the armor on the Eldar's throat with a dagger, letting the blade touch her skin, "Isn't it a little late to say it now if you're complimenting me?"

"If this is the beginning of our conversation, then it's not too late," the Eldar's voice has a strange rhythm even in Gothic, "Put away your blade, human, I invite you out to talk with language, not with weapons. If you want to kill me, then please do it quickly, but if you want to understand the problem and solve it, then you should talk. Human, you shouldn't be so stupid that you don't even know who the enemy is, right?"
