HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(TRACE OF BONDS)

"Yerre, I... I didn't mean it. I have a reason I hurt myself," Alda respond, which made Yerre's left brow twitch.

"Okay, indulge me with it," Yerre reply as she went over to the couch and sit. She pats to her side and looks at Alda, signaling her to sit beside her. Alda smile then went over to her.

"Tell me the reason," Yerre mentions as Alda nods, then proceeds on her explanation.

"Um, the other day after we meet, Prince Adam ask me if ever I saw Vendia around, and I say no," Alda mentions, which made Yerre nod and listened to her, then she continued talking.

"I ask why he is searching for Vendia, and he said he wants to ask Vendia about something related to their both childhood memories," Alda mentions as Yerre looks at her, surprised.

"His childhood memories with Vendia?" Yerre ask.

"Yes," Alda answers as she continues explaining.

"He believes that is the reason Vendia becomes a Villain," Alda mentions.

"Oooh, yeah. Prince Adam is right," Yerre respond, which made Alda curious.

"What? Don't tell me you saw Vendia childhood memories," Alda ask.

"Yes,"

"For real?" Alda asks, again shocked.

"Yes, and the Prince promises to Vendia that he will make her his queen then marry her when he becomes a king someday," Yerre elaborates as Alda look at her, surprised.

"What? So the reason Vendia turned evil because she always believes that the prince will choose her in the end?" Alda asks in disbelief.

"Yes," Yerre answer.

"Wow! Wait, this didn't state in the book, right?"

"No, the book focused on Lady Cathlen and Prince Adam's love story only. You already forgot?" Yerre ask.

"Yes, I did, jejeje," Alda answer feeling dumb as Yerre deep sigh, feeling sorry for Vendia character.

"I feel pity for Vendia's character, but what can we do?"

"Nothing," Alda answer.

"You're right, Vendia is no longer into this book, and inside the book, the author state she will die like the fate of those villains in the book, then Lady Cathlen and Prince Adam will have a happy ending," Yerre mentions as Alda nods.

"Your right. It sounds unfair," Alda respond.

"Yeah, but, wait! You didn't explain why you hurt yourself! You're changing the subject!" Yerre complains to her, pouting as Alda look at her with an uncomfortable smile.

"Jejeje, okay, okay. I tell you," Alda reply.

"Em, go on," Yerre respond.

"Okay, the reason is the prince told me the other day that he wants to talk to Vendia alone today, and I said how? You already know why I ask him that question, and that's because the Marquis won't let him into their mansion. But he said not to worry about it anymore because he already has a plan. So I got frustrated because I also have a plan to visit and spend time with you," Alda continue her explanations.

"I hurried back home with Cathlen's parents the other day and craft a plan to visit you, but it failed, and it made me angry and more frustrated. Today I woke up in a bitter mood, but my maid who helps you earlier made it better because she told me she has a friend who also a maid at your residence," Alda mentions, which made Yerre shocked.

"At the Marquis?" She asks, surprised.

"Yes, her name is Mia," Alda answer.

"Mia?" Yerre asks, thinking over the name that Alda told her, then remembers something.

"Yes," Alda answer.

"Oh, yes. I already meet Mia. She is a nice girl, but she is not a spy to the Marquis residence, right?" Yerre mentions as Alda think about her last words.

"Don't think so, but let's figure that out later," Alda respond.

"Em," Yerre replies as Alda continues her explanation.

"Before you arrived here, I thought the Prince already get to you because my maid told me you already left the Marquis residence with your maid,"

"So you thought that the Prince and I..." Yerre spoke out her thought.

"Yes," Alda answer with a nod as Yerre heave a sigh then move closer to her, holding her right hand that has a bandage wrap.

"Alda, you know very well. That Vendia parent will never let him do that, and besides, I have a knight," Yerre mention, which made Alda shocked.

"You have a knight?" She asks.

"Yes, his name is Sir Aloit. His Vendia grandfather knight guard before, but he retired when Vendia grandfather died," Yerre explains.

"So Sir Aloit came back and became your knight?" Alda ask.

"Yes, well, something happened, so he became my knight," Yerre answer making Alda curious.

"What? What happened?"

"He accuses me," Yerre answer, which made Alda confused.

"What? Accuse? Who?"

"The Prince," Yerre answer making Alda surprised.

"Huh? Why?" Alda ask.

"Well, that is because you were nowhere to be found in the Duke residence before, and he thought I abduct you so," Yerre mentions which made Alda blood boil.

"So is my fault," Alda pointed to herself. Yerre didn't answer. Instead, she asks another question.

"Why did you disappear without telling Cathlen parents that day?"

"Well, on that day, Prince Adam visits the Duke residence without notice, and I was not ready to meet him because I am not Cathlen inside I'm Alda. So I made an excuse that I don't feel well, and I stayed in my room as a sick person does," Alda spoke her reason.

"So you pretend," Yerre respond.

"Yes," Alda answers as Yerre nods and listens to her words, then she continues explaining.

"And after that, I didn't expect him to visit inside Cathlen's room. So I pretend to be asleep, but he does something that triggered my man side," Alda mentions making Yerre curious.

"What is it?" Yerre ask.

"Well, he kisses Cathlen forehead, and you know I don't like boys doing that stuff to me because you know already," Alda reply as Yerre looks at her for a second, then laughs. Alda deep sigh.

"Yerre, don't laugh at it. I do feel like I want to vomit at that time. But I force myself not to move and open my eyes. I feel tortured," Alda expresses her feeling with an unspirited expression. Yerre saw Alda's face, and she stops laughing, then hugs her.

"I'm sorry," Yerre reply apologizing to her as Alda sigh then hugs her back.

"After I arrived, inside this book, I lose Cathlen lamp inside the Astrod forest. I was angry at myself because that is the only thing that can help me search for you inside this world. I know you were inside this book because I can feel it in my heart, and we already read too many transmigration books. So is impossible not to believe those things anymore," Alda continues talking.

"Every day, I can't help but feel anxious, and I sometimes hear your voice crying, and it made me more worried. So I sneak out, using my terrace with Angela, at the time, when Prince Adam visits the Duke residence without notice. Then went to town to buy the map of Astrod kingdom. So I can search the lamp in haste and wish for it to bring you to me," Alda mentions as she explains everything to Yerre, not living a single piece of information.

"So the reason..."

"Yes,"

"And you hear my voice crying?" Yerre asks in disbelief.

"Yes, not only that. I also hear your voice laughing and calling my name," Alda mentions, which made Yerre shocked.

"Aren't you scared?" Yerre asks, making Alda chuckled.

"Why would I feel scared? Is your voice, and that can only mean that you are also here with me waiting for me to find you," Alda answer making Yerre break the hug and look at her straight with tears in her eyes again.

"Aiyo, why are you crying again?" Alda asks.

"Because you do dangerous things, so you can only find me," Yerre answer within her sobs. Alda chuckled then held into Vendia left cheeks wiping the tears that have fallen. Yerre holds her left hand, who held Vendia's face, letting it stay in her face, caressing it as she shows a smile to Alda while tears keep skipping to her eyes like rain.

"Thank you, thank you for not giving up on finding me, and I'm sorry because I couldn't do anything other than wait for you. I," Yerre mentions as her all emotions collide into one, making her cry harder. Alda embraces her into her arms tight then kissed her forehead.

"Is okay as long as you are safe and not harm that is enough," Alda answer as she let Yerre cry into her arms.

'I'm so happy to have you in my arms, safe and sound. I feel so light and contented now,' Alda thought, full of happiness and relief. They continue their morning, catching up with things that their characters have been facing inside the book and what has happened before the two of them encounter each other for seven hours. The two of them talked non-stop and stayed inside Cathlen's room as nothing else matters. No one disturbs them is like this day we're already prepared and meant for them.

Seven hours already passed, but they still haven't done talking Cathlen room has filled with laughter and teasing after the heavy explanation and elaboration of their days where they're still away from each other.
