HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(EARLY SPRING)

On the other side, Mary walks through the dark hallway with the moonlight reflecting through the gigantic window inside the mansion. Then heads towards where Vendia chamber is located and knocks on the door four times.

Knock

"Miss," Mary called but didn't receive a response, so she called out again.

"Miss is Mary." Mary Still didn't receive a reply, so she opens the door, then gets inside only to see Vendia still napping into her bed with a face full of peace.

Mary feels warm and glad upon seeing her nap in peace as she went over to the window. That close to Vendia's bed, then closed it to prevent the icy wind from entering the room. After that, she then went over to Vendia's bed, sat on the right side, admiring the sleeping baby face of Vendia for a second, and wake her up after.

Vendia hears her calling and woke up blinking her eyes three times to clear her vision and stretch her arms up to make her blood circulate to her body without a problem. Vendia then sits up on her bed with tired eyes and a sleepy expression.

"Em~ Mary?" She replied in her sleepy voice.

"Yes, Miss, I'm here. Are you still sleepy?" Mary asks as Vendia nods, still sleepy.

"Em," she answers as Mary chuckled because of her cute expression while nodding.

"I'm sorry, Miss, but I can't let you nap for long because the Madam and Lord Marthen are already waiting for you to the dining room with Sir Aloit," Mary mentions making Vendia sober up and stand up to her bed full of excitement as she heard Sir Aloit name.

"Sir Aloit is already here?" She asks in her excited expression, making Mary startled by her change of character without a second.

"Y-yes, Miss," Mary reply stuttering from surprise.

"Okay, let's go come on!" She demands as she hurried down to her bed and went outside her room in haste while Mary is having a hard time following her paste.

"Miss! Wait, slow down a bit!" Mary demand, but she didn't listen because she can't wait to hug Sir Aloit and ask him a question about his day like a five-year-old kid who misses her brother for so long.

"I'm sorry, Mary, but I can't wait to see Sir Aloit. You don't have to escort me. You can go back to your errands now. I see you later," Vendia mentions, as Mary understands and didn't follow her any further.

Vendia continues striding to the hallway alone with the same expression and feeling. When she saw the entrance door to the dining room, she then hurried to open the door wide and went inside with an excited smile.

"Mother! Father! Is Sir Aloit here?" Vendia asks, impatient as her parents got startled by her entrance.

"Sweetheart, why are you so excited to see Aloit and not us?" Madam Rose asks with a disappointed face.

"Aiyooo, your daughter saw you're both face all day. How can she not feel bored with it? Vendia uncle is here~" Sir Aloit mentions making Madam Rose blood boiled.

"What did you say, dolt?" Madam Rose's reply pissed off. She is about to stand up from her seat to punch Sir Aloit in his cheeks, but her daughter distracts her and makes her freeze from her spot.

"Uncle!" Vendia shouts with excitement as she hugs Sir Aloit tight into her arms.

"Ai-yo. I can't breathe. Adjust yo-" Sir Aloit mentions making Vendia adjust her embrace and continue hugging him as he also hugs her back with a warm smile.

"Sweetheart, you can continue hugging Sir Aloit later, but for now. Let's eat the food is getting cold," Lord Marthen demand as Vendia lets go of Sir Aloit, then smiles at him.

"Sorry, father," Vendia apologies.

"Sweetheart, there's no need to apologize. Come on, go to your chair and let's continue eating," Lord Marthen mentions.

"Okay, father," Vendia respond, then went over to her mother's side and sat beside her. They eat dinner for thirty minutes. After thirty minutes passed, they then finished eating, and Sir Aloit excuse himself with Vendia.

"Let's talk about your business matter later. Let me spend time with your daughter for fifty minutes," Sir Aloit request as Lord Marthen nod and they leave the dining room.

As they stride through the hallway, Vendia can't stop giving him so many questions, with an impatient expression, which made Sir Aloit feel pressure.

"Uh-ah, hahaha. Can you ask me your question one by one? I can't answer them all in one go," Sir Aloit responds, making Vendia giggled and nodded.

"Okay, what did you do today, uncle?" Venida first question.

"I went somewhere to do some errands," Sir Aloit answer.

"I see. So, my mother is right. May I know what errands you did today,"

"I can't tell you because it's confidential," Sir Aloit responds, not lying.

"I understand, but is my parents know what errands you did today?" She asks.

"Yes, they do," Sir Aloit answer.

"I see. I will respect your decision upon not telling me about your errands today, uncle, as long as you come back unharmed," Vendia mentions.

"Well, I am well and not harmed, so you don't have to worry, okay?" Sir Aloit responds, showing his self to Vendia that he's all right.

"Right. Oh, uncle. I already found the person I am looking for," Vendia mentions, happy and excited as Sir Aloit looks at him, surprised.

"You did? Where did you find the person you are looking for?" Sir Aloit asks, curious. Vendia looks at him with a doubt face for a second, then smiles.

"I found that person here at the Astrod land. I can't believe that the person whom I'm looking for already showed up in front of me before, and I didn't even notice. I feel disappointed," Vendia answers, unhappy.

"Oh, but that is before, right? As long as you notice that person again. You don't have to feel disappointed anymore," Sir Aloit mentions, which made Vendia bright again.

"Em! You're right, uncle," Vendia answers, making Sir Aloit feel glad.

"May I know who is that person you are talking about?" Sir Aloit asks, making Vendia stop walking for a minute, then gaze at Sir Aloit with a smile on her face.

"Uncle," Vendia call.

"Hm?" Sir Aloit hum as a reply.

"Can I ask you a serious question?" Vendia mentions.

"Of course, go ahead," Sir Aloit respond right away.

"What if one day? You found out that the person you trusted and cherished all your life lied to you and deceive you," Vendia mentions, which made Sir Aloit stunned for a second, then collect himself back again after as he smiles at Vendia.

"What will you do?" Vendia added.

"To tell you the truth at first. I will feel torn and cheated, but as long as that person explains everything, then I will forgive that person and still accept that person," Sir Aloit answer, which made Vendia heartbeat in gladness and relief as Sir Aloit continues talking.

"But if that person's reason is injustice and bias. I will right away let that person pay for playing my heart, then let that person go after and never get attached to that person anymore. Even if we already have a strong bond because the bond I have with that person was all lies and illusions from the start," Sir Aloit added as Vendia felt like something stuck on her throat that she can't breathe well for a second upon hearing Sir Aloit last words.

'L-lies? I-illusion,' Vendia thought as her heartfelt heavy when she heard the two triggering words that come out of Sir Aloit's mouth. She feels like a heavy stone landed on her shoulders, making her unable to stand well and think well for a second.

"I-I see, but you will accept if that person's reason is reasonable, right?" Vendia asks, still anxious as sweat formed into her forehead.

"Yes, wait. Why are you so anxious? Are you not feeling well?" Sir Aloit asks, worried as he went close to Vendia and tried to caress her back, but Vendia pushes him away and backs away from him with troubling feelings.

"Ah, sorry, haha, sorry. Sir Aloit," Vendia mentions as she tries to control her composure in front of Sir Aloit, but Sir Aloit brows twitch, then senses something is off.

"Why are you calling me Sir Aloit? We are the only person in the hallway right now. You can call me uncle," Sir Aloit mentions, within his firm tone of voice, which made Vendia shivered from fear, but she continues controlling herself by giving out a chill expression and aura.

"Ah, yes. Uncle, haha. I am fine. You don't have to worry. I'm just sleepy, that's all," Vendia excuses, lying as she forced herself to smile. Sir Aloit feels like something is not right, but he lets it go, convinced by Vendia's words.
