HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(THE ODD'S)

"Okay, we should cancel our bonding time today and hurried to your room," Sir Aloit mentions.

"Yeah," Vendia responds, still have the same feeling.

"Okay, let me escort you to y-"

"No! uh, I mean. There's no need to escort me back to my room, Si-uncle. I am fine, haha," Vendia responds, stuttering as she controls herself from releasing some unexplainable expression towards Sir Aloit.

"Are you sure?" Sir Aloit asks for assurance as he gazes at Vendia, full of concern.

"Yes, of course! Uncle, good night~" She responds with a bright smile, then hugs Sir Aloit to make him feel assured and not ask any further questions. Sir Aloit sigh in relief, then hugs her back for one second and lets her go to her chamber alone.

After Vendia left him alone, Sir Aloit then went back into Lord Marthen's office and saw Madam Rose is already inside.

"Oh, ho~ You want to hear my complain too?" Sir Aloit quip, but Madam Rose only gives him a straight look on her face. Sir Aloit heaves a sigh, then gives out a bitter smile to them.

"I'm sorry," He apologizes, which made the two-person inside feel anxious.

"Wh-"

"I can't continue being Vendia knight anymore because the king and I come to agree that I will serve his son as a knight for my punishment," Sir Aloit cutting Madam Rose's words short.

"What? So he didn't target my daughter? He targeted you instead?" Lord Marthen asks in disbelief and concern.

"Not only me. The king also made Prince Albert go back to the Alfendra kingdom and accept the throne again as a king," Sir Aloit elaborating on all the things that had happened earlier to the Astrod kingdom.

"Wha," Madam Rose becomes speechless.

"What? Why he joins Prince Albert in this matter?" Lord Marthen asks, confused.

"At first, the king was persistent in giving me a death sentence for what I have done to Sir Alfredo, and I accept it. But Prince Albert steps in insisting to my decision and trades his freedom upon accepting his father's position as a king and aiding the kingdom of Astrod land." Sir Aloit explains.

"What did you just say?" Madam Rose asks, with a glare towards Sir Aloit as anger rise upon her.

"Rose, calm down," Lord Marthen tried to console his wife, but it didn't work.

"You accept the death sentence? Are you crazy! What about us!" Madam Rose stood out from the couch, then went close to Sir Aloit and grabbed his collar, using her right hand as tears skip in her eyes like a flowing river again.

"Rose!" Lord Marthen call after his wife as he tried to stop her from hurting Sir Aloit's face.

"Shut up! Stay where you are! YOU! YOU SURE ARE STUPID!" Madam Rose shouts at his face, showed full of anger.

"Rose..." Sir Aloit gazes at her full of guilt and regret as he let Madam Rose grabbed his collar then bark at him.

"YOU ARE SELFISH! SELFISH! SELFISH!" Madam Rose complain within her mess sobs as she let go of Sir Aloit collar, then slap him hard to his chest with her hands for ten-fifteen times, while Lord Marthen felt torn and unhappy upon seeing his wife scared and shivering from fear of knowing that they almost lose Sir Aloit in front of him.

"Rose..." He called out through his trembling whisper voice mixed with bitterness while controlling himself not to release a weak aura in front of his wife.

"What if Prince Albert didn't step in and trade his freedom to free you from your death sentence, ha? What about us, ha? Tell me! TELL ME! YOU SELFISH IDIOT! SELFISH! Selfish..." Madam Rose stops hitting him as she felt tired and so drained out already. She stood in front of Sir Aloit for one second until Madam Rose cried, hardened.

Sir Aloit's heart sunk seeing Madam Rose crying mess, torn and shivering in front of him. He hugs her tight into his arms as his emotion floods into him, and he can't control it anymore. He releases the tears that he's been keeping for too long and cried with her.

"I'm sorry, please forgive me for not thinking through my words and decisions," Sir Aloit apologizes within his sobs as Madam Rose embraces him back then grabbed the back of his cloth tight with her hands sobbing.

"I hate y-" Madam Rose's words get cut as she faints into Sir Aloit arms upon, crying hard and feeling so many emotions.

"Rose!" Lord Marthen shouts in terror as Sir Aloit catches Madam Rose before she falls to the floor and carries her into bridal style with wide eyes, shocked upon seeing Rose faint in front of him. Lord Marthen gazes at both of them with a worried expression.

"Marthen! Call your servant to call for a physician, hurry!" Sir Aloit demands in haste as he carries Madam Rose into his arms with a trembling body from worried while his tears keep flowing like a river. He gritted his teeth from so much anger to himself as he can't stop apologizing inside his head.

'I'm sorry, I'm sorry,'

Lord Marthen rush over to his desk in haste then rings the bell to summon his servant inside his office to call for the Marquis physician. After three seconds, Butler Sebi arrived inside.

"My lord, what can I do for you?" Butler Sebi vowed, but Lord Marthen didn't let him gesture respect for long as he demands him to call the Marquis physician in haste.

"Wha- " His words got cut because of shock as he saw Sir Aloit with tears in his eyes and Madam Rose into his arms, unconscious.

"Sebi, hurry! Call the physician and bring him to your Madam Rose chamber. We will wait," Lord Marthen demand, impatient as Butler Sebi didn't ask any further questions and rushed out to do the command in haste.

On the way, Butler Sebi bumps into Mary, but he didn't glance or greet her. Instead, he passes through him with an anxious expression. Mary felt a chill sensation as Butler Sebi pass through him, and she worried upon seeing Butler Sebi in haste. So she followed him, but beky stop her upon following Butler Sebi even further by calling out her name from afar.

"Mary, Lord Marthen want you inside Madam Rose's chamber," Beky mentions, making Mary turn around and look straight at her. Mary nod and they both went to Madam Rose's chamber. When they arrived, Mary then got concerned about seeing Madam Rose's pale condition. She went close to her, then ask Lord Marthen.

"My lord, what happened to Madam?"

"She faints," Lord Marthen answers, which made Mary confused.

"She faints? But why? What happened?" Mary asks, but Lord Marthen didn't answer her question anymore. Instead, he ordered her to keep Vendia inside her room for a while and not let her go out to see the commotion outside, so she won't suspect that something is wrong. Mary understands then leaves Madam Rose's chamber to go to Vendia room.

Mary stride through the hallway for fifteen seconds then arrived in front of Vendia chamber. She stood outside for one second then knock on the door five times but didn't receive a reply. She holds the doorknob and turns it so the door would open, but it didn't move.

"Miss? Are you asleep?" Mary calls outside the door, but she still didn't receive a reply. She tried to turn the doorknob once again, but it still locks. She sighs and spoke for the last time.

"Miss, sweet dreams. I see you tomorrow." Mary's last words then went back to Madam Rose's chamber. Without knowing that, Vendia was no longer inside her chamber. The empty bed, open glass door from the terrace, and a cloth used as a ladder tied into the terrace railing are all left.

The icy wind went inside Vendia chamber as the silence filled the inside of the room. With the moonlight reflecting through her window. Vendia is now striding towards the garden to do what they planned earlier.

"How could I climb this wall?" Vendia complain as she saw the tall wall from the garden. She thinks of a way to climb up without failure. But after three seconds passed, she still hasn't figured a way. Vendia's about to give up when a surprising wood ladder falls four meters away from her. She got startled and scared.

But despite the fear she feels, Vendia still looks up to see who gives her a ladder to climb up without a problem, then saw Cathlen on top of the wall sitting with a smirk on her face. Cathlen wears brown boots, black legging pants inserted into her long sleeve with an emblem of the Duke family engraved into the right side of the cloth. A black belt with a sword tied to her left waist and hair tied into a bond.

"Why a sad face? Come on. I've been waiting for you. What's taking you so long," She mentions as Vendia gazes at her with a relief expression. Then without a heads up, she cried, which made Cathlen startled and concern.
