HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(SPRING BLOSSOM)

"Hey, what happened?" She asks, worried as she leaps down, then runs over to her and embraces her into her arms. But Vendia didn't answer. Instead, her cries hardened.

"Yerre... you know I hate to see you being like this. My heartfelt heavy when I see you cry without telling me the reason behind it," Alda mentions as she continues hugging Vendia's body into her arms, but Yerre still didn't answer and stop crying. She heaves a sigh, gives up, and lets Yerre cries into her arms.

'Who made you cry like this,' Alda thought, pissed off as she clenches her left hand into a fist while hugging Vendia's body. Yerre sobs turn to mess, Alda heartfelt pain upon hearing it. She forgot the irritation she felt, then caresses Vendia back to comfort Yerre.

"Yerre... who made you sad this time, hm?" Alda asks within her comforting and warm voice as she kisses Vendia's forehead.

"Alda, why can't I have people in my life without hurting them?" Yerre responds through her heavy sobs. Alda got confused by her words.

"Yerre, I'm sorry, but I can't understand your words," Alda responds.

"I hate being like this. I hate to pretend like I'm somebody else is suffocating, Alda. I can't take it anymore. It pains me when I saw them smile and give warmth to me but sees me as somebody else," Yerre mentions which made Alda's heart sunk upon hearing her last words.

"Yerre, tell me what happened," Alda asks with the same tone of voice while Yerre gazes up at her with a sad expression while her sobs calmed a bit.

"Earlier, I told Sir Aloit that I found you, but I didn't mention your name or your status. I only tell him I found the person whom I was looking for and ask him a serious question," Yerre explains within her sobs.

"What kind of question?" Alda asks as Yerre gazes at her with teary eyes.

" I ask him. What if one day? He found out that the person he trusted and cherished all his life lied to him and deceive him," Yerre mentions which made Alda's right brow twitch in discomfort.

"And his answer made you like this?" Alda responded as Yerre nods then drowned her face into Cathlen right side of her neck.

"Ha... Yerre, you are overthinking your relationship with them. Don't worry so much about it. You told me before that you pretend you lose your memories. Because you don't want them to ask you what happened on the day the real Vendia die, right?" Alda asks, Yerre only nods, and she continues talking.

"Right, so there's no need for you to worry and panic about your relationship with them. Because no matter what happened. Vendia parents will never know that the Vendia in front of them now is not the real Vendia," Alda mentions.

"But what if they will know?" Yerre asks.

"No, they won't because no one will tell them the truth."

"What about the woman I told you about?" Yerre mentions

"The woman who has a gift to see the future and the past. Inside this book," Alda asks.

"Yes," Yerre answer.

"You don't have to worry about that woman anymore. I will handle her myself," Alda responds, which made Yerre gaze at her in worry.

"What will you do?"

"Don't worry. It won't harm me because I will ask my boys to do it for me."

"What do you mean?"

"You don't have to worry,"

"Alda,"

"Yerre is better for you not to know what I will do to her because I don't want you to think and act differently to me,"

"I understand. But promise me you won't harm yourself, okay?" Yerre demands as she embraces Cathlen close to her more.

"I promised," Alda respond.

"But Alda, that is not the point here. I want them to see me as Yerre, not Vendia. I don't want to lie and deceive them for long is frustrating," Yerre reply as Alda pulled Vendia's head close to her chest with her right hand then caress it.

"Yerre, you know that's impossible, right?"

"I know that is why, is frustrating and suffocating," Yerre answer, which made Alda release a deep sigh.

"Yerre, this body we had right now, we don't own it as well as the people who cherish the actual owner of this body? You understand that this was only a gift from god. There are things you need to keep hidden and pre-caution with so that the happiness you build won't put you in harm," Alda continues.

"In our case, we can't let them know because if we do. All the things we had built from the start will turn like a speck of dust through thin air." Alda mentions making Yerre sobs harder as she continues explaining.

"Worst of all, they might kill us. We are lucky that God has given us a second chance to live again. So, let's not. Do reckless decisions and ideas so that chance won't go to waste, okay? We must enjoy what he had, even if some part of it pains us and suffocates us. Because in life, nothing is perfect," Alda mentions, which made Yerre cling to her more and cry harder.

"Shh... don't worry too much and cherish the things that this second life has given to us, okay? Don't worry. I am here now," Alda continues talking.

"If you feel you want to run away and take a rest from everything. Let me know, and I will take you away from here, then we can do the things you want so you won't be sad anymore," Alda mentions as she continues talking.

"Oh, come to think of it, we can do what you want to do today, too! What do you want to do? Do you want to catch a fish in the lake? I know where we can do that. You love fish, right?" Alda mentions, which made Yerre giggle a bit.

Alda heard it, then felt relief and relaxed upon hearing Yerre giggle at last. She kissed Vendia's forehead once again and her warmth more into her arms.

"You still remember?" Yerre asks as she gazes at her in surprise.

"Of course, how can I forget the time when you are so persistent and so eager for me to catch that goldfish. You almost push me to the bucket just so I can catch the goldfish into my bubble net," Alda reminiscing about the day when Yerre is acting like a five-year-old, which made Yerre laugh and blush a bit.

"I'm sorry and thank you, Alda, I love you," Yerre responds, which made Alda's heart move and beat from happiness.

"I love you too," Alda respond with a satisfied smile engrave on her face.

"Okay, wipe your tears and leave your worries behind in here. Because today, I want you to only think of me and worry about me, understand?" Alda mentions with a wink, making Yerre laugh again.

"Pft! Hahaha ha, okay, Miss Alda," Yerre responds, breaking their hug.

"Don't call me that, Yerre," Alda complains with a pout, making Yerre laugh more.

"Pft! Hahaha haha ha, okay, Alda!" Yerre respond, which made Alda grin, then chuckled.

"Good, now wipe your tears and let's climbed this ladder to get to the other side," Alda mentions.

"I wish there's a door so I don't have to climb that I fear heights," Yerre reply.

"Well, I also wish that too, but we're not inside a Narnia book. We are inside the book of witchcraft! Which is *Beep* Because we become the major character and I *beep* *beep* *beep* *beep*, ha!" Alda responds, cursing through her every word, which made Yerre laugh harder tell tiny tear skips to her right eye.

"Bahahahaha, Alda, you never change,"

"Oh,"

"I like it. So don't you ever change yourself, understand?" Yerre demand making Alda smirk and chuckled.

"Affirmative,"

"Em!"

"Come on, I will climb first so I can watch your steps," Alda mentions as Yerre nods, and she climbs into the ladder. After three minutes, Alda then arrived at the top of the wall. She sat at the top, signal Yerre to climb the ladder already, then watch her every step while she's at the top of the wall.

When Yerre is already at the top, she told her to wait for a bit because she will leap down to the other side to catch her. Yerre nod and Alda leap down.

"Yerre comes on, leap down," Alda shouts at the other side as Yerre looks down at her with a fearful expression. Her body trembled from fear as she saw how high up the wall was. Alda chuckled upon seeing her facial expression, then smiles at her, opening her arms wide for Yerre to see that is fine.

"Yerre, don't worry. I am here, remember? I will catch you," Alda mentions, distracting Yerre's mind from fear.

"Em!" Yerre responds, full of determination, as she leaps down, blurting out the words 'Eep!' while Vendia's body falls and Alda catches her into her arms.

"Gotcha!" Alda exclaimed as she caught Vendia's body into her arm, then carry her into a bridal style. She chuckled upon seeing Vendia's body trembled, and her eyes shut tight from fear. Alda pulled her close to her chest then kiss Vendia left eyes lids.
