HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(PASS OF TIMES)

"Oh, that is Kutiyapi," Sir Aloit answer, which made Yerre even more curious to know more of the unique styled instrument.

"Kutiyapi?"

"Yes, Kutiyapi, they carved out of solid wood such as that come from jack fruit," Sir Aloit mentions, which made Yerre amaze.

"Carved? You mean?"

"Yes, they made instruments using their hands and expertise," Sir Aloit answer her questions.

"Wah... they're such innovative people," Yerre mentions with full of astonishment at the people of Nipa.

"Indeed, they do," Sir Aloit agreed.

"The instruments they made brings a gentle and relaxing symphony," Yerre speaks out her thought about the Nipa people and the Kutiyapi instrument.

"Indeed, it gives bless to your ears," Sir Aloit respond agreed to Yerre words as they then continue walking. After long, Yerre and Sir Aloit then spotted Chef Fred, and they approach them.

"What took you two so long?" Chef Fred asks.

"Sorry we came across some issue, but we solve it already," Sir Aloit respond.

"Oh, okay, by the way. Vendia meet my wife Elaine and my two younger daughters May and Xiane," Chef Fred introduce his wife and two daughters to Yerre.

Mrs. Elaine has long grey curly hair color like a moon, a lip that shapes like a heart, and colors like a rose, straight broad shoulder, round face that has tiny wrinkles popping out to each side close to her eyes, pinkish skin, pointy flat nose, straight black brows, brown eyes, round shape eyes, short black lashes, and a fit firm body, while her two daughters have the opposite.

Xiane has the same body and facial features as her mother and father, but younger. Her skin color is the same as her father's, while May's skin color is the same as her mother's, and so do her face and figure.

"Hello is nice to meet you all," Yerre responds with a shy smile because she does not know how to address them.

"Is nice to meet you too, Vendia. You can address me, Elaine. We hope you enjoy your first visit to our village," Mrs. Elaine mentions with a warm smile.

"Thank you," Yerre reply.

"Okay, come, come, let's introduce you to my people now," Chef Fred mentions as he grabbed Yerre away from Sir Aloit, then they went over to the small stage of their village, while Sir Aloit and Chef Fred wife went to sit on the chair in front of the tiny stage that the villagers build.

"Everyone, may I have your all attention for a while?" Chef Fred gathers his people's attention to the stage as his people, then turn silent and focus their gaze on the two people who stand on the tiny stage.

"Let me introduce you all to our new guest. Vendia, she is the Marquis daughter and one of the young ladies the Sir Aloit serve as a knight," Chef Fred mentions as Yerre gives out a gentle smile to all of them, then applause rings the place for three seconds.

"Thank you for accepting me and for welcoming me into your humble and wonderful village. I can't wait to create exciting and wonderful memories with all of you," Yerre mentions with a sincere tone of voice as the people of the village then reply with a warm smile and applause again. Then their celebration continues, full of laugh and fun.

"Vendia, are you feeling cold?" Sir Aloit asks as he senses the changing temperature of the mountain while they sat at the table with the Chef family, eating food and drinking alcohol.

"No, I'm fine, uncle," Yerre asks as she munches her food with an organic orange juice beside her plate.

"Okay, if you feel cold, tell me right away. You can have my cloak," Sir Aloit mentions as Yerre gives out a warm smile to him.

"I will, uncle," Yerre answer.

"Did you like the food, Vendia?" Elain asks with a sweet smile.

"Yes, they're all delicious," Yerre answer, full of honesty.

"That's good to hear. Is it your first time eating that kind of desert? Am I right?" Elain asks, pointing towards Yerre's hand, which holds violet glutinous rice cakes. That has two other three colors and three different flavors, violet sweet potato, jackfruit, and coconut.

"Hm? Yeah, what's this called?" Yerre asks, curious.

"Is one of our village specialty, we called it Kakanin," Elain mentions, which made Yerre more into details of how did they make and create such a sweet dessert.

"Kakanin?"

"Yes, we called it Kakanin, which means to eat rice," Elaine explained.

"Oh, that's amazing," Yerre got astonished.

"Yes, it is. This food is a hand-carry dessert that is easy to eat when you're in haste to catch through the day," Elaine answers.

"Oh, you all are always early to go to your farm to cultivate. So ahh, now I understand. You are all so creative people," Yerre mentions with a compliment that warmed Elaine's heart.

"Thank you," Elaine replies as Yerre gives out a nod and a humble smile.

"Is Kakanin have different size and form? Other than this?" Yerre asks.

"Yes, there is. Do you want to try making one? I can teach you how to bake and made one," Elaine mentions, which made Yerre eyes light up from full of excitement.

"Are you sure?" Yerre asks in between her excited voice.

"Of course, but not tomorrow because Fred told me you were going to join us to plant some crops to our farm tomorrow." Elaine reply.

"Ahh, yes," Yerre respond with a low spirit expression making Elaine chuckled upon seeing her cute, disappointed reaction.

"Don't worry, I can teach you the day after tomorrow with the other mother and younger woman in our village," Elain mentions, making Yerre spirit hype up again.

"Em! I can't wait to spend time with the other people here. Thank you, Elaine," Yerre answer in between her joyful tone of voice.

"Your welcome," Elaine responds with a sweet smile.

"Um, Vendia, may I ask how old are you now?" May asks, joining their conversation, making Yerre indulge in deep thought because she forgot how old Vendia already.

A troubled expression forms across her face as she thinks through her memories about the book, but nothing came up. Sir Aloit gaze at her then saw her confused and discomfort expression. Sir Aloit sigh, then gives out a sad smile as he replies to May's question.

"Sorry, May, Vendia here went through some accident and lost all her memories. So she can't remember how old she is now,"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know," May apologizes as she hangs her head low, feeling sorry upon pressuring Vendia.

"Oh, no, there's no need to apologize. Is fine, jeje," Yerre haste reply as Sir Aloit and May's parents look at them while listening to their conversation.

"So, she is older than us," Xiane joined as she made the atmosphere light and at ease.

"Yes, Vendia is already 22 this year," Sir Aloit answer.

"What? For real?" Yerre asks in surprise.

"Oh, I'm is still fourteen while my sister May is sixteen," Xiane mentions.

'Oh, almost close to my actual age. I am 19 while Vendia is twenty-two. But yeah, I am older than them,' Yerre thought.

"Oh, don't worry about the age gap. Just treat me like your sister. Don't worry about anything else," Yerre mentions with a sincere smile to them.

"Okay, we will," Xiane answer with a wistful smile.

"Is god to see you guys get along well," Chef Fred mentions as they then continue eating and celebrating with their people.

"Uncle, are you going to drink alcohol too?" Yerre asks, worried.

"No, I don't drink alcohol anymore ever since your grandfather told me he hates seeing me drunk, from the time when he was still alive," Sir Aloit reply.

"Oh," Yerre asks, shocked.

"Yes, ahh. I miss your grandfather nagging and complain," Sir Aloit mentions as he grabbed a cup that has full of tea then drinks it. Yerre looks at him with a sad feeling.

"Don't worry, uncle, I know grandpa still hearing you and nagging at you from up above," Yerre quip making Sir Aloit choked on his tea and chuckled.

"You sure know how to liven up my mood again, ha," Sir Aloit reply with a grateful smile.

"Jeje," Yerre replies with a light laugh when out of nowhere, someone touches her hand, making her shocked, startle, and bounce close to Sir Aloit's side as she blurts out an 'Eep' sound to her mouth. Sir Aloit also got surprised, and so do other people who were with them at one table.

"What happened?" Elaine asks in shock, while Sir Aloit embraces Yerre close to him with a confused eye.

"What is it? What's wrong?" Sir Aloit in panic.

"So-someone held my right hand out of nowhere," Yerre answer while trembling in fear as she hugs tight to Sir Aloit, drowning her face to Sir Aloit solid chest.

Sir Aloit looks at her right side then saw five young children holding a violet flower with an apologetic expression.
