HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(PAST EMBRACE)

Knock

"Alda?" Yerre was called outside.

"Yerre?" Alda inquires about her room.

"Yes, can I come in?" Yerre asks.

"Em!" Alda lets her in with an excited tone of voice. Yerre smiles upon hearing her best friend's excited voice, but her smile fades away within a second because Yerre still catches a hoarse and weak trace of Alda's voice. She opens the door and enters with a caring smile on her face.

"Yerre?" Alda sits up, still with a fever and a hoarse voice.

"Aunt Chen mentions that you never drink your medicine," Yerre mentioned as she went over to her bed and sat beside her.

"She told you?" Alda asks in her annoyed tone of voice while her face shows a frown.

"No, she called over the phone and talked to Aunt Fey about it. I heard it when I passed our comfort room, "Yerre answered.

"I see," Alda replied in hushed tones.

"Why won't you drink your medicine? Yerre nagged at her as Alda groaned and frowned, hanging her head low.

"That is because the medicine is so bitter! I don't want it. She described the flavor as sweet and jelly-like.But when I try, it tastes so, so bitter. It made my mouth sour and bleugh…" Alda complains as she reenacts the feeling she had when she took half of the organic medicine her mother made for her, making Yerre giggle.

Alda blushed, and Yerre saw it, but she didn't think of anything strange about it. Instead, Yerre thinks Alda is having a high fever again and gets even more worried. She pulled Alda close, even close to her, and connected their foreheads. Alda's breath hitched upon seeing Yerre's lips so close to hers. They were so close that their breaths almost blended into one. This made Alda worry.

"Yer,"

"Don't move." Yerre cut Alda's words short by her firm demand. This made Alda uncomfortable and uneasy. She didn't know how long she could endure this kind of close contact they were having right now. is torture on her part. She has loved this woman in front of her for a long time and towards her she is impatient, but right now they are just so close that she can't stop her body from feeling excited and worried at the same time.

"But, Yerre, "Alda can't speak out well as she feels her face blushing and her heart warming from so much surprise and happiness at Yerre's actions."

She stays put in their position, looking straight at Yerre's eyes while she refrains herself from thinking other unpleasant thoughts towards Yerre. But Yerre's face and lips are so close to her, making it hard for her to stay calm and not think of any actions that could hurt her innocence.

"Ye,"

"Sshh, stay put, let me feel your forehead," Yerre demands without a clue that her action is torturing Alda's heart and mind. She continues doing what she wants while her eyes are closed, feeling the heat that Alda's forehead is giving out from her fever.

"Y," Alda surrendered and stopped speaking, allowing Yerre to do whatever she wanted to her while inside she was tortured by endurance and controlling force.

"Your forehead is so hot," Yerre mentions as Alda's eyes are still wide open from surprise, her heartbeat fast from nervousness, because her first love is making a bold move on her.

"Did you sleep well?" Yerre added, still in their position and posture.

Alda answered, "No, I didn't," as she closed her eyes and felt Yerre's warm care for her.

"Did you have a nightmare?" Yerre asks.

Yerre's heart ached and she softened for her best friend. "Yes, I did," Alda answered, full of honesty, making Yerre's heart soften for her best friend.

"Do you want me to stay over and sleep with you tonight?" Yerre suggested, which made Alda's eyes wide open in shock as she processed the words that Yerre let go from her mouth a second ago.

Alda couldn't speak out as her heartbeat was so fast, and her body felt even hotter upon imagining Yerre sleeping beside her through the night. This is not their first time sleeping together, but Alda has turned into a teenager.

Her body craves something that sometimes she does not understand or control. So, she worries she might do something unforgivable to Yerre if she stays beside her or sleeps with her in one room.

"Alda?" Yerre calls out to her as she opens her eyes because she didn't hear Alda reply. Alda closed her eyes in haste as she saw Yerre open her eyes to gaze at her.

Yerre asked in a concerned tone of voice as she saw Alda hurriedly shut her eyes. She let go of Alda's face and pulled away, but Alda pulled her face back to her and connected their foreheads again, which made Yerre shocked and startled for a minute.

"Alda?"

Yerre relaxed, then closed her eyes, joining Alda as she asked.

"Why?"

Yerre chuckled and embraced Alda close to her arms with an open eye, which made Alda open her eyes in shock and flinch from surprise.

"Ye,"

"I will be fine. Remember, we play at the playground together, but you are the only one who got a fever." Yerre pauses.

"So it means that I am immune to any fever," Yerre mentions, making Alda hug her back with a warm smile.

"I know that," Alda continues to resist.

"Alda, I want to make sure that you recover well. So, please let me stay by your side tonight. All those years that I was stuck in the dark. You were the one who accompanied me and helped me through it. So, let me do the same for you, okay? " Yerre mentions, making Alda heave a trembling sigh because she doesn't know how to reject Yerre's request anymore.

'But if you stay, I'm afraid. I might do something I could not forgive myself, 'Alda thought, full of worries.

"Alda?" Yerre calls, waiting for her to respond, while Alda bites her lower lip, fighting over herself whether to accept or object.

If I object, I will hurt Yerre's heart, and if I accept, I might do something horrible and unforgivable. Alda is so confused as concern and frustration take over her.

"Alda, I will understand if you won't let me st,"

"No! Stay, stay, "Alda responded in haste, which made Yerre surprised and unable to finish her sentence. Alda let out a deep sigh as she buried her face in Yerre's right shoulder, crying inside her thoughts as she felt hopeless.

"I'm an idiot," Alda said, thinking aloud.

"Yerre," Alda called in her hoarse but firm tone of voice, making Yerre open her eyes and meet hers full of burning desperation and desire. But Yerre doesn't have a clue about those eyes Alda showed to her. So, she only stares at Alda's eyes and smiles at her like nothing's wrong.

"What is it? You want to drink the organic medicine now?" Yerre asks with an innocent smile, then breaks their hugs.

"Yes, but can I get a reward from you after?" Alda asks with a tone of voice that a person who is in love can only understand.

"Okay, what is it you want?" Yerre asked without hesitation, which made Alda happy and excited.

After I drink the medicine, can I? "Alda hesitates to say it out loud for a minute.

"Hm?" Yerre waits for her with an innocent face and eyes.

"Can I kiss the back of your neck every time I drink those bitter medicines?" Alda mentions

"That's all?" Yerre asks, making Alda blink her eyes three times.

"Yo-you want me to have two rewards from you?" Alda asks in disbelief, then remembers.

Alda thought as she chuckled, then uttered a word to herself.

"You're still innocent,"

"Hm? You say something, Alda?" Yerre asks with an expression who hears nothing.

'How can I forget, hahaha idiot,' Alda thought-feeling dumb.

"No, I said nothing. Are you sure you want to give me two rewards after I drink those..." Alda couldn't finish her sentence because of the nauseous feeling she felt inside her belly. Yerre giggled, then answer.

"Yes," Yerre answer with an innocent smile. Alda heartbeat goes wild as she thinks of another reward she wants from her first love.

"Then, can I, can I kiss your collarbone too?" Alda asks as Yerre nods, showing no hesitation, making Alda so happy and satisfied.

"Thank you, Yerre," Alda thanks her as she embraces her into her arms again.

"Mm, I will get the medicine now, okay?" Yerre mentions, breaking the hug as Alda nods, excited. Then Yerre stood out from her bed and went out of her room to get the organic medicine Alda's mother made for her.

"Alda..."

A soft and comforting voice escapes from Yerre's mouth as she sleeps, while small tears skip in her eyes.

A sudden knock sound from the door made a loud impact to make Yerre back to reality and open her sleepy eyes.

"Vendia?" A warm and soft voice of a man calls out for her outside the door.

"Uncle?" Yerre responds in her sleepy voice.

"Elaine and her two younger daughters are now outside our house waiting for you," Sir Aloit mentions, which made Yerre stood out from her bed in haste and surprise as she felt wet under her eyes onto her face. Yerre caressed her face with her right hand and got surprised.
