(THE WARMTH OF OUR SUN)

Alda stays in Lady Vendia chamber for two hours as she continues embracing Yerre closed into her arms while caressing her hair to make her sleep full of comfort, but after one and a half hours, Yerre whines again and frown in discomfort, which made Alda surprised and worried again, but Alda composed herself because she now knows the reason why Yerre is feeling uncomfortable again.

'A nightmare again,' Alda thought as she deep sigh in concern.

"...egh-uh-haf," Yerre whines like she is in pain as her eyebrows furrowed and knitted to each other while her whole body trembled.

Alda holds Yerre closer than before to her arms, then caresses her back to ease and calm her as she whispered soothing words into Yerre ears. 

"...Ssh, I'm here, everything will be all right. Yerre-ah, Alda is here, ssh," Alda mentions as she continues saying those words three times while caressing Yerre back and hugging her close to her arms.

"E-emf, haa-a-alda," Yerre mumbled in her sleep, whimpering as she starts to sob while her body, still shiver. 

"Aiyo, ssh... I'm here. I'm here, Yerre-ah? Don't be afraid I am here, hm?" Alda responds to Yerre call using her soothing and comforting tone of voice, making Yerre sobs turned to silent as her body starts to calm, and her brows turn back to their previous calmed position.

Yerre face once again became a calm sea, which made Alda relief and felt glad.

"Haiya, those nightmares, how dare they made you like this! Eish! Aiyo. You boogyman. I will cut your limbs, head everything of you and turn you into a salad if ever I saw you! Hemp! How dare you give my Yerre a hard time to sleep. You're not allowed to touch her or her past! You little!" Alda complains as she kissed Yerre cheeks, then sigh in gladness.

'I can't believe I am getting jealous towards a boogyman, does it even real? Well, whatever,' Alda thought as she kissed Yerre forehead for a second time, then her cheeks. 

"Sleep tight, my sweet Yerre-ah," Alda mentions, feeling the warmth and completeness inside her heart. 

Alda stays in bed embracing, Yerre for two more hours to make sure Yerre does not have a nightmare anymore. After hours have passed, seeing that Yerre does not react and has a discomforting moment anymore. 

Alda then decided to get back home because she saw outside that is almost dawn, and she worried about Angela enduring her sleepiness while waiting for her to get back to her so they can go back home. 

She stares at Yerre's face for two minutes, hugs her tight for three minutes, then leaves a peek kiss on her lips as she then stood out from the bed and goes out to the chamber. 

"I see you again tomorrow, Yerre," Alda utters with a gentled smile as she closes the glass door to Vendia chamber, then turns her back and jumps down from the terrace, but before she runs back to where the garden and meets Angela again.

Alda first scanned the place she was in, then wander her eyes all over the place while listening through every sound that people are making, observing as she proceeds with caution and alertness. 

From the time she felt like is safe to go out and run faster to get to the garden. Alda then uses her mart arts technique to run faster than an ordinary person, and when she arrived back at the Marquis garden. 

Alda then leaps up to the wall and jumps down to the ground only to see Angela already sleeping at the top of her horse while Mia is holding her shoulder, supporting her, so she won't fall to the ground and hurt herself. 

"How long had I been gone?" Alda asks as she strides to where the two-person are sitting. 

"Almost five hours. Did you two already finish talking?" Mia asks as Alda only nods and untied the horse leash, making the horse move and walk, waking Angela from her sleep. 

Angela groaned and whine as she opens her eyes, still unsober from her sleep attitude, then yawn. Mia let go of her shoulder upon seeing her already awake, while Angela scratch her eyes to clear her vision then saw Alda already with them, smiling. 

"Good morning, sleepyhead," Alda mentions, making Angela surprised while she straightens her posture, then gives out a smile. 

"Miss, you're back. I apologize for I fall asleep while waiting for you to come back," Angela pauses, then gazes at Mia, who looks at her confused. 

"...And, Mia here insisted to me that I should get some rest while waiting for you for a while," Angela mentions, making Mia frown at her then reply with an annoyed tone of voice. 

"But you said it was okay! Why do I feel like I influence you into something unpleasant and bad," Mia replied.

"Haiya, you two are fine," Alda responds with a calm smile. 

"Mia, thank you for taking care of Angela while I'm talking to your Miss, also thank you for helping me to get inside your residence today," Alda added with a thankful smile, and Mia nodded. 

"As long as your intention is clean. I will do what I can to help and give aid to our Miss need," Mia reply with plain expression. 

"Em, and, Mia can I ask you about something?" Alda mentions while Mia leaps down from Angela's horse and faces her. 

"Go ahead, Miss Cathlen," Mia reply. 

"Tomorrow, does your Miss have errands to do tomorrow?" Alda ask. 

"Oh, I don't know because my pose is only around the mansion and into our master's bedroom. The one who knew all about our Miss is Mary, her servants ever since she was a kid," Mia respond, making Alda disappointed. 

"I see, then can you ask Mary for me?" Alda replies, still not giving up. 

"Why you want to know about our Miss schedule, Miss Cathlen?" Mia asks as she felt suspicions and strange feelings towards Alda. 

"O-oh, hahaha. I am only asking because I want to reconcile with her fully. You know, like you and Angela. We should maintain a good relationship too because you two are childhood friends. I can't afford to give Angela a hard time every time you two meet up because Lady Vendia and I are still an enemy," Alda trying her best to make a good excuse so that Mia can't sense something different about her behavior.

"Oh, right. I apologize for doubting you for a second, Miss Cathlen," Mia reply. 

"Yah! Mia! Why are you cruel to my Miss! You're making me upset," Angela said while her face showed discomfort and displease atmosphere. 

"I'm sorry," Mia apologize while she lowers her head, feeling guilty for suspecting something wrong with Alda a minute ago. 

"Aiyo, Angela, I'm okay. Don't be too hard on Mia. I understand why she suspects something in my words. Lady Vendia and I have been at war because of Prince Adam for too long, but tonight, I decided to make mends and peaceful relationship with her," Alda pause as she looks at Mia with a sincere smile then continues talking. 

"I want to make the first move to fix our relationships with each other, and I hope you will support me, Mia," Alda mentions, making Mia shocked. 

"...I, um," Mia lower her head thinking as she recalls Alda words one by one.

"Mia?" Angela calls out to her with pleading eyes. Mia gazes up and looks at Angela as she thought. 

'I guess is all right to help her, for Angela and Miss Vendia,' 

Mia turned her gaze back to Alda then nod with her reply. 

"Okay, I will help you, for Angela and Miss Vendia," 

"Aiya, don't forget yourself too," Alda responds with a smile. 

"Yes, and for myself too," Mia reply with plain expression. 

'Eyyo, this unselfish person. I hope God will bless you,' Alda thought-feeling glad and relieved. 

"All right, I will hold on to your words. We will go back home now," Alda mentions as she went over to Angela's horse, leap up, and sat at their usual position.

"I will send a letter soon, but for now, please do take care of your Miss and tell me if there's something I can help you all with, okay?" Alda added with a sincere smile. 

"Em, I will thank you, Miss Cathlen," Mia responded. 

"Aiyo, don't thank me yet. I still haven't started yet," Alda reply. 

"Mn," Mia responds with a nod, making Alda chuckled. 

"Okay, Angela, are you ready to go back home?" Alda asks Angela, who held her waist, for support when they start to ride back home. 

"Mn, Mia, I see you again," Angela mentions with a genuine smile to  Mia. 

"Em, take care on your way back home, Miss Cathlen and Angela," Mia reply, vowing. 

"We will, HE! YAH!" Alda shouts as she hit the horse's waist with her right foot, signaling it to move and run at high speed. 

Alda and Angela then ride back home, leaving Mia looking at them from far away till their shadow and figure fades away. 

"Haaa, what a night. I am tired," Mia mentions, stretching her hands up to the sky while yawning, feeling exhausted, but her exhaustion fades away once the thought of Alda words came rushing to her thoughts like a virus. 

'Prince Adam, three knights are here spying...' 

Mia, deep sigh as she didn't finish her thought about Alda words anymore because she already felt exhausted all over her body and feel sleepy. But inside her mind, she is anxious and worried. So, she leaps up to the wall, then went back to Lady Vendia chamber. Only to see that Vendia glass door still unlocks from the inside. 

Mia breath in a sharp air as her brows knitted to each other feeling unease and worried for Yerre sake, so she went inside the chamber to look everywhere if there's something inside that can bring harm to Yerre for four minutes. But after four minutes of searching and looking in silence inside the chamber, Mia found nothing threat. 

'...Ho, I'm glad that everything is in place and there's nothing that can be harmful inside,' Mia thought as she went close to where Vendia bed then stare at Yerre whose sleeping in peace for one second, sighing in relief, then went back towards the glass door, lock it and leave the chamber in peace. 

When she got out of Lady Vendia chamber, Mia got startled upon seeing Sir Aloit in front of her, also wearing the same expression as Mia.

"Mia? What are you doing from Lady Vendia chamber?" Sir Aloit ask. 

"Uh, I went to check if everything is already secure inside because I have a nightmare earlier about Miss Vendia being in danger so, I hurried to her chamber and check everything inside..."  Mia excuses lying to Sir Aloit. 

"Oh, I see," Sir Aloit respond, could not find any suspicious or fatal space in Mia's words.
