HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(THE TIDE OF FUSION)

Inside the cheerful and well-designed room, five people were looking at her with a confused and worried expression as they all tried to understand the meaning of her words earlier, with a tiny speculation that her words could mean an unpleasant event.

"What the hell are you even talking about, ha?" Clark asked a bit pissed. Alda glanced at him, then chuckled. It almost sounded like a scoff, then replied.

"Nothing, don't mind me. I was only spouting some nonsense words,"

"Are we supposed to eat with our bare hands? Because I don't see any other plate or spoon," Troy ask.

"Yes, that is why I ask you all to wash your all hands earlier," Alda respond, making Troy understand.

"Oooh,"

"Okay, can we dig in now?" Mike created a distraction from an atmosphere that was full of tension, which made all attention drown him. Alda chuckled then nodded as she replied to Mike's words.

"Yes, go ahead. Lets all talk about the real matter later, "

"Mn," Sir Arnold responded with a nod.

"Thank you for the food," Mike said, making all his brothers also say the same thing, and they all then dig in to the food, feeling thankful and grateful.

After a long time, they all finished eating and sat on the couch feeling full and contented. Alda went to look at her side as she saw Sir Arnold standing on the couch, grabbing some meat from his plate and giving it to his bird, making Alda curious.

"Is your bird required to eat meat?" She asked. Sir Arnold turned to look at her, then answered.

"Yes,"

Alda's eyes showed amazement and concern upon knowing that the bird was more expensive than his owner.

"Oh, that is expensive, but you know. He is smart and very useful. Where did you find such a kind of bird? " She asked again.

"I didn't find him. This bird is a gift from my father, Kile, "Sir Arnold answered, making Alda feel sentimental upon hearing his answer.

"Oh,"

She didn't know what to say next. So she changed the topic to a real topic about why they came to Voldrone land.

"Okay, since everyone is already full and well-minded. Let us all talk about the problem, "she said, while all Sir Arnold's brothers looked at her and she started explaining things step by step based on what she wanted to do in her plan. Sir Arnold and his brother only listened to her while she talked. Alda planned to face the fortune teller alone first, while they all waited outside, but if she had gone out after one hour. They all then get inside the room where she meets the fortune teller and kills her.

Alda knows that her plan is not solid and not well thought out, but she can't think of another way anymore. For the person she wants to catch and discpath has a one hundred percent advantage over them, because she can see the future and other things that normal people don't have. This frustrated her and made her dumb for days before she decided to take a step towards dispatching the bug inside the book. Even if she knows that this could lead to her losing her life, she still pursues doing things that can't hold her strength, for Yerre. That was how in love Alda was with Yerre.

Alda's explanation takes ten minutes and five seconds before she finishes and everyone then thinks through all the words she says. After that, they then all, one by one, speak out their thoughts about her plan. The first person to speak was Mike.

"So, you are going to sacrifice yourself first?"

Alda sighs as she looks at Mike with a smile, then nods as she replies.

"Yes, that is how it goes,"

"Are you crazy?" Troy speaks his mind.

"No, I'm not and I know what I am doing. I'm not dumb, but my situation made me dumb, "She replied, sounding like she was complaining to someone, but that someone was invincible and that was fate. Sir Arnold and his brothers look at him with concern and sigh.

"You could have gotten help for your father, you know," Jin mentioned, making Alda's brows furrowed as she looked straight at him then replied.

"I can't. My mother told me that my father, the Duke, and the fortune teller named Tilda, are close. So, how could I seek help from him when my plan is to kill his friend? "

Sir Arnold and his brothers look at him with stress and unease.

"She is right, but are you sure about this?" Sir Arnold replied.

"Of course, I trust you guys. So, I am always sure, "she answered with an assured smile.

Sir Arnold and his brother sigh again as they feel uncertain about her plan and about this mission. Because it is too risky and not well thought out. They were worried that if they got in too late, she would lose her life. And what then? What will happen to them then? Also, if they bargain in surprise, the knight who escorts her to meet the fortune teller might also fight them, which is very dangerous because Sir Arnold's brother is not that skilled at combat. Some of them are only enhanced at sword fighting, but not that expert.

Sir Arnold thought through Alda's plan with a clear mind as he sought every fatal road they would face through it once they applied an action to it. The room was filled with thoughts and worries, making the place quiet. Their thinking process ended after fifteen minutes and they then finalized things. Sir Arnold shared his thoughts towards the plan and said that he would disguise himself as a knight of the Duke tomorrow so he could stand beside her and when a critical situation filled in, he could then signal his brothers and block the Duke knights from jumping into the chaos.

Alda thought over his suggestions for two minutes, then nodded. She could not refuse. This situation and the plan she made were rushed. It's not that hard to figure out, so she will accept any help, advice, and suggestions no matter how small they are. It's better to receive a scape route even if it still screams uncertainty.

After their discussion, Alda then decided to share the passage area she discovered inside the library with them. She led the way inside and once again touched the book that made the door open through it. When the books moved, the passage that Alda talked about then showed up, making them all shocked and amazed.

"Woah," Troy and Mike both said at the same time, which made Alda smile, then reply.

"I know, right? This tunnel led outside the back yard and beside it also led to the female servant quarters. So, the guards do not often patrol that area, "Alda paused for a minute with a grinned smile, then continued.

"Which means you guys can come and go with no problem, using this passage I found in the library,"

"But, isn't it dangerous?" Troy responds, thinking maybe there was no door on the other side. That would be very dangerous for a girl to be alone in the room.

"What do you mean?" Alda asked, confused.

"Is there a door to the other side?" Troy spoke out about his concern.

"Yes, there is and I already found the key," Alda answered.

"Oh, then never mind," Troy mentions, making the atmosphere awkward and puzzled. Alda nodded, didn't mind his words any further, as she then lend the key that she found in the book to Sir Arnold, saying.

"Here, take it and keep it well. From now on, you all will only have to come and go through that door, understand? " Alda mentions pointing her index finger at the passage she found. Sir Arnold and his brother nod.

"Okay, you guys can go now and rest. Thank you for today, "she mentions.

"Wait, aren't you curious about the thing you ordered us to find?" Clark asked.

"Uh, the lamp?" Alda asked, showing a face like she had forgotten something.

"Yes, the lamp," Clark responded.

"You already found it?" she asked.

"No, we have not found it," Sir Arnold responded.

"Then, let's not talk about it for a while. I want to finish this matter before jumping back to the first problem. I will ask you all to talk about it once we finish this first, okay? " Alda mentions Sir Arnold and his brother nod at her words.

After that, Alda then advises them to light something before they enter the passageway because it is dark inside.

"There is no need. My brother and I can use our sense of hearing and smell instead, "Sir Arnold responded, making Alda shocked and ask.

"You guys have that kind of technique?"

"Yes, we all learn that through our parents. Who served the late Marquis before they all died, "Sir Arnold answered, which made Alda amazed and adore them.

"Wow, can you guys teach me that kind of technique next time? I want to learn it for an emergency, "she asked, not joking. She did want to learn about how they could do such an incredible thing.
