HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(SELF DISTRUCTION)

The two of them went inside the house, leaving the guards outside the door to guard the surroundings and the place. Upon entering the house, a young woman who is in her adult years rushes over to Kayla, hugging her with relief and excitement.

"Mother!" she shouted.

"I'm back. Come one, greet our guests. She is the daughter of Duke Thranduil. Her name is Lady Cathlen, "Kayla mentions, breaking her daughter's embrace and making her greet Alda, who looks at them surprised.

"Greetings to you, Lady Cathlen. My name is Marsha. I feel honored to finally meet the Duke's daughter. It's good to have you visit our house, "Marsha said. From the time Kayla got inside this world, she already had Marsha, so she did not know whether Lady Cathlen had already met her or not. But seeing it now, it seems like this is their first time meeting each other.

"... uh, yes. It is nice to meet you Marsha, "Alda responded.

"You can settle inside our guest room for a while, Lady Cathlen, while we pack our things," Kayla mentions, pointing her right hand to the right side of their house. Alda nodded, then went inside the place where she told her to wait. When Alda leaves, Marsha asks her mother a question regarding what he said earlier.

"Mother, why are we going to pack up things? Are you leaving our house? "

Kayla looked at her daughter and smiled as she replied.

"Yes, we are going to serve Lady Cathlen from now on as her fortune teller,"

"For sure? Are we going to Astrod land? "You are not a lying mother, right?"

"Mn, I'm not lying," Kayla responded. Marsha then showed delighted and excited eyes to her and started to jump up and down on the cement floor, feeling so happy upon hearing her mother's reply.

"I am finally going to meet the Prince! YAY! YAY! " Marsha cheered up upon hearing her mother's answer.

"Aiyo, but remember we are not there to have fun, we have work and responsibility for her highness," Kayla reminded her daughter.

"Yes, mother. I will never forget that, "Marsha replied. After their conversation, the two of them then went to get a large sized pack bag that has a thin layer of cloth and a strong line of sewing on it.

A bag pack that is used for traveling and packing things that are heavy. Kayla put Marsha in charge of putting their stuff, such as equipment that is used for making herbals and medicines, inside the wooden box with a warp cloth on it to keep it safe from breaking into pieces when the carriage moves. While she went on clearing the things that were most important to them to take and keep.

Alda, on the other hand, kept herself busy by looking around the place inside the guest room, feeling curious and mesmerized by the weird artifacts and design inside the room. Not long after, Kayla and her daughter Marsha went to fetch Alda from the guest room to inform her that they were already done packing.

After receiving their words, Alda then went outside the house and ordered all the guards to take care of all the things that were owned by Kayla and Marsha and put them inside the carriage.

"When you are done, bring it back to the mansion and come back here with another carriage, so we can then go back to Astrod land. Understand? " Alda instructed them and all the guards nodded. The captain of the knight left two guards for Alda to be safe while they did the task.

While Alda and the others wait for them to arrive in another carriage, Kayla proposes having a light snack and drinks in the meantime. Alda invited the two guards inside the house for snacks and light drinks, but they insisted because it was against the rules. But Alda is a persistent person, so she convinces them that it is all right that their captain is not here and that it is not good to reject kindness.

The guards look at her, still feeling that her demand is against the rules, but they can't help but submit upon hearing Alda's last words to them. The three of them then went inside the house and accepted the food that Kayla had given them. Kayla gave them a buko pie, a meat bun, smoky chicken and a pine apple smoothie that she baked and cooked earlier before she left to go to the Duke Mansion in Voldrone Land.

Alda invited Kayla and her daughter to eat as well, and they all ate in silence. The guards hurried their pace of eating the food that had been given to them, and when they were done eating, they excused themselves to go out and guard. Alda nodded and permitted them to leave. The guards sigh in relief and leave for their usual task outside with a full stomach.

After two hours of waiting, the expected guest finally arrived with three large-sized cars. The two guards went inside the house to inform the three people who were still having tea in the living room. Alda nodded and they then prepared themselves to leave. Kayla went to wash the things they used for one minute and put them along side the things they would bring to Astod land. When they were all settled and ready, Alda then signaled everyone to start moving.

The captain of the knight shouted at his subordinates and people, and their voyage back to Astrod land started. Alda and Kayla, together with Marsha, sat inside one carriage that was soft and comfortable. The ride back to Astrod land is quiet but comfy. Alda told Kayla that if they passed the rough road, she could again use the enchantment she used to ease the effect of the rough road on the carriage. Kayla nods and understands.

Upon feeling things were in order and in the right places, Alda couldn't help but sigh with relief, felt relaxed and decided to close her eyes as she leant her head against the carriage window to take a nap in the meantime, but it was interrupted by Marsha speaking out of nowhere.

"Lady Cathlen, may I ask you something?"

Alda opened her eyes once again in a tired motion, which made Kayla concerned and think that Alda must have not gotten proper sleep last night because of the worry in her mind. Kayla couldn't help but snort at Marsha and said.

"Save your questions for later. Lady Cathlen is already tired. Behave yourself, "

Marsha can't help but lower her head in low spirits and apologize to Alda like a child who has been scolded by her parents.

"I apologize to Lady Cathlen,"

Alda chuckled at the person's behavior in front of her and said with a gentle smile.

"It's fine, she can ask me five questions,"

Kayla looked at her surprised and asked for assurance.

"Are you sure?"

"En," Alda responded with no seconds as she yawned.

Marsha's eyes showed excitement and gladness again as she looked straight at Alda with a thankful smile.

"What do you want to ask?" Alda asked first because she wanted to finish the question Marsha had installed for her and take a nap because her body was feeling tired from thinking so much over the past few days.

"What does the Astrod land look like?" She asked with sparkling eyes that glowed like star dust.

"There's nothing like Voldrone land. When you first stay there, you might feel culture shock and surreal because Astrod land has a different culture than Voldrone land, "Alda answered, and Marshs nodded as she replied.

"I see." Marsha paused for a moment as she thought through her next questions and said.

"Can I ask you about the Prince?"

Kayla looked at her in haste and pinched her hand, causing Marsha to hiss in pain and look at her mother with a whined face.

"Shut your mouth. Stop asking questions now or I will take you back to Voldrone land and abandon you there," Kayla threatened her daughter, who could not stop blurting out words that made the other parties uncomfortable.

Alda sighed full of tiredness and waved her right hand like she was waving a fly away.

"It's all right,"

Marsha looked at her with small tears skipping from her eye lids and apologized.

"I'm sorry,"

Alda felt her body already wanted to take a nap. So she didn't reply with words anymore. Instead, she nodded and leant her head against the carriage window, closed her eyes and fell into a slumber. Leaving the two people inside talking to each other.

"Mother, why can't I ask Lady Cathlen about her fiance?" Marsha asked. The Duke had not yet announced their break engagement to the Voldrone land people, so Marsha and the others still did not know about their issue except for her. Kayla sighed and stroked Masha's hair from the back and said.

"The Duke breaks the engagement of his daughter to the Prince,"

"WHAT?" Marsha looked at her mother in shock and could not control the rising volume of her voice, which made Kayla look at Alda in haste and back at Marsha and said with concern.

"Lower your voice, or you'll wake Lady Cathlen,"
