HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(FRAIL TIES)

Yerre sighed upon hearing Mary's words and thought.

Vendia dislikes them, but I do not, '

She forced a smile and a reply to Mary.

"Of course, I never felt better," she said, but Mary still felt something was wrong, adding the image she saw earlier of her having a wet face from tears while she was sleeping.

"Miss, earlier I--" Mary wanted to say and ask about why her face was wet from tears and why she cried, but she stopped upon hearing that Lord Marthen and Madam Rose went inside the guest room.

"Hm? What is it? What do you want to ask Mary? " Yerre was curious.

"No, it's nothing, Miss," Mary answered in haste as he stepped away from her and let her master sit on a separate couch. Mary then excuses herself and goes out of the room. When she arrived outside, he then saw Sir Lay guarding outside Lady Vendia's chambers. She immediately turned her gaze away and walked past him.

Sir Lay saw her and just ignored her presence as he thought.

'If a person does not like me, then what's the point of forcing them to like you? It is only a waste of time, you know? '

He sighs and continues standing outside guarding Lady Vendia.

Back to the guest room, Lady Vendia's parents talk to Yerre for a while before they leave to go to their chamber.

Yerre then finished her food and waited for Mary to come back as he went outside the balcony to breath in some cold fresh wind and watch the stars twinkling up above the sky like a series of light bulbs that are lit every Christmas.

"I wonder what day it is today. Has my birthday already passed? " He asked out of the blue, then the sound of the door opening distracted her.

'Oh, it's Mary,' she thought as she went back inside the chamber and went to see Mary inside the guest room.

Mary sat down with all the food that she had requested earlier and said.

"Enjoy your food, Miss,"

Yerre thanked her, then went to sit back on the couch to eat the food she requested from Mary. When she took a bit, she felt all her worries fade away. It was like the food had healed her. She can't help but smile and release a relief sound inside her mouth while munching her food inside her mouth.

Her expression showed a person who had not eaten their favorite fast food for too long, and this made Mary worried and felt weird upon seeing her enjoying all the heavy foods that she requested.

Mary only stood at her side while looking at her with concern. Yerre turned to look at Mary with a satisfied smile and gulped down the food she had eaten before saying.

"Mary, do you want some? Sit down and think about what you are standing for. Come on, sit down and join me eating this. It is very delicious. Thank you Mary, "

Mary nodded and sat on the couch next to her, but she never brought food to the table and this made Yerre stop eating.

"What's wrong with Mary? You don't like this kind of food? Are you a vegetarian? "she asked, because this was the first time Mary hadn't eaten the food with her.

"No, miss. I mean, I am a vegetarian but I also eat meat. It's just that I am worried about you. You hate this type of food, but now you are eating it like it's all your favorite, "Mary replied with a concerned expression. Yerre put down the bread back on the plate and responded.

"Mary, don't worry. I just want to try some food that I have been avoiding before because I am curious about what it would taste like, "

Mary nodded and sighed as he felt satisfied and contented with Yerre's reply. Yerre smiles, then takes the untouched bread to the plate and gives it to Mary.

"Here, eat and don't worry about me all the time. You should also take good care of yourself, "Yerre mentions, and Mary only nods.

"Is Sir Lay still guarding outside the door?" Yerre added, asking Mary about Sir Lay's situation, and Mary just nodded. Yerre can't help but feel stressed again. Seeing these two people don't get along made her mind go restless. She sighed and stood up from the couch.

"Stay here and continue eating," she said. Mary looked at her with a confused expression and asked.

"Why? Where are you going, Miss? "

"I will tell Sir Lay to go and rest. You saw him outside when you went out and entered earlier, right? "She replied with a question.

"Yes, why?" Mary answered.

"Right, don't worry. Yerre said, didn't answer Mary's last question as she went outside the guest room, passed through the chamber and went outside the room to see Sir Lay.

"Miss Vendia," Sir Lay called upon seeing her get out of her room, and he then approached her.

"Sir Lay, you can rest in your room now," she replied.

"Mn, thank you miss," Sir Lay replied, vowing to her respect and leaving. Yerre then went back to the chamber and strided towards the guest room. When she entered, Mary had already finished her slice of bread.

Upon hearing that her mother was already back inside the guest room, she then stood up and asked.

"Are you going to have a bath after this, Miss?"

"Why? Are you already sleepy? You can go ahead and rest Mary. I can manage to bathe alone, don't worry, "Yerre said, but Mary insisted and said.

"No, it's fine. It is my job to take care of you and I must abide by it, "

Her words made Yerre heave a sigh and reply as she went to sit back on the couch.

"Okay, I won't force you to go because I know you still ended up helping me bath,"

"Jeje, yes," Mary admits.

And Yerre then hurried to eat the food she requested so that she could then take a bath and make Mary rest back at their quarters. When she is done eating, Mary then cleans everything, goes down the kitchen to clean the dishes that Yerre uses for eating, and goes back up the stairs to help Yerre with bathing.

When she arrived, Yerre was already inside her bathroom, sitting inside the bubbled bathtub that had a lavender scent and already cleaning herself. Mary went over to her and took another cotton body scrub sponge to help clean Yerre's back.

Yerre bath for fifteen minutes and when she was done, she then instructed Mary to wear the night dress she chose earlier. Mary went over to Lady Vendia's drawer and took the dress that Yerre was talking about.

She then went back to the dressing room with the dress and helped Yerre change. When Yerre was done dressing up, Mary helped her dry her hair that got wet from taking a bath earlier. Using a dried white towel, she kept wiping it until it dried.

Once Yerre's hair was done, Mary then went to brush it with a hair brush and then Yerre was ready for sleep.

"It's all done, Miss," Mary said as Yerre looked at herself in the mirror and nodded.

"Thank you, Mary. You can go now and rest. See you tomorrow, "she said, and Mary then bid her a respectful good night and left the room contented and peaceful.

Yerre then went inside the guest room and sat on the couch waiting for someone to arrive.

On the other hand, Mia is now outside meeting the same two people who always visit their residence every night, Alda and Angela.

"Mary has just left Lady Vendia's room. You can go now, "she said, and Alda then didn't waste time and leapt up to go inside the Marquis residence and went to Lady Vendia's chamber.

Alda does her same routine again, observing, hearing, looking and assisting caution as she goes deeper into the Marquis residence. It didn't take long before she arrived in front of Lady Vendia's balcony.

She then used her usual technique to climb up and went inside the room. When she landed on the balcony, she then saw the glass door was already open. Alda hurried her pace of walking and went inside only to see that Yerre was sitting on the couch hugging her knees and already sleeping.

'How cute, but she would feel sore in her back if she continued in that position,' Alda thought as she then went over to Yerre in haste and carried her bridal style to put her into bed. So she can sleep and rest with no difficulties. She kissed her forehead before she carried her into her arms.

Alda laid her down on the bed and tucked her in with a soft blanket as she then sat beside her on the bed. Admiring her face as her girlfriend sleeps. She sighed and said.

"Yerre-a, I almost acted out of character again earlier because I saw you with another guy. Was that new knight that Sir Aloit chose for you? "
