HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(FLOATING HEART)

"Uncle, from now on. You can give the remaining love you felt for my grandfather to me," Vendia mentions, and Sir Aloit looks at her in disgust then breaks the hug.

"Blegh! Yuck no! I don't want to. You are too young for it, and also, I don't want to. You are not my type," Sir Aloit responds, and Vendia looks at him with a done expression.

"Uncle, what do you mean by that?" Vendia responds.

"The love that I have left for your grandfather is mature," Sir Aloit reply and Vendia blushed, stands up then stomps on Sir Aloit's left feet. Sir Aloit then screams in pain as he bends to the ground and holds his throbbing feet.

"WHY YOU SAID THOSE WORDS TO AN INNOCENT CHILD, HA?" Vendia scolded him. Sir Aloit got surprised for a split second then laugh at her.

"Bahaha hahaha, wh-whose innocent child?" Sir Aloit asks within his laugh.

"ME! Of course!" Vendia reply puffing from anger, and Sir Aloit laugh more.

"Hahaha ha, oh my god. You are killing me," Sir Aloit responds, forgetting the pain he felt on his left foot as he holds his stomach, can't breathe well, for he laughs so much because of Vendia's words. Vendia looks at him, sulking. Sir Aloit saw it, then calm himself and stand up as he then went close to Vendia and pat her head.

"Okay, I apologies, but you ask me first,"

"That only because I didn't know what kind of love you have left for my grandfather," Vendia argues at him.

"Okay, okay. I understand. But my love for your grandfather is only for him, and the love I have for you is only for you. You both are different, and you both are precious to me. Don't ask other people to give the love they have left from the people they lost from the past to you, because the result of it is grief and pain only. Do you understand?" Sir Aloit mentions and advice.

"Yes, I understand, uncle, and I'm sorry," Vendia responds with an apology.

"Good, ahh... this too much emotional moment makes me exhausted and hungry. Let's go check out what Mary's doing. I want to eat lunch now and take a nap for four hours before we continue riding back home," Sir Aloit mentions stretching out, his both hands in the air, and Vendia nods as they then went to where Mary and Sir Den are.

After two minutes of walking, Vendia and Sir Aloit then arrived outside the black-colored gigantic tent, then went inside, only to see Sir Den standing in front of the cauldron.

"Oh, Miss Vendia and Sir Aloit," Sir Den mentions.

"Sir Den, where's Mary?" Vendia asks because she didn't see Mary inside the tent and only saw Sir Den cooking.

"Oh, she went to get some firewood inside the forest," Sir Den answer.

"Alone?" Vendia asks, worried.

"Yes, she didn't want me to accompany her. So I stay and watch over the food she cooked for our lunch," Sir Den responds. Vendia looks at Sir Aloit with a concerned expression. Sir Aloit then pat Vendia left shoulder and smile.

"Don't worry. Mary will be fine. The sun still up, so no wild animals can harm her," Sir Aloit calms Vendia worried down.

"Yes, don't worry about Mary, Miss Vendia. She can take care of herself. Mary is a sturdy girl, her father trains her to have a survival technique, and she can fight too," Sir Den inserted, and Vendia looks at him, surprised.

"I see, you don't know," Sir Aloit mentions.

"What do I not know?" Vendia asks, clueless.

"Your grandfather and parents won't hire servants without special skills and survival training," Sir Aloit mentions to Vendia.

'Wh-what? WHAT? So Mary. She. But in the book, it didn't state that the Marquis servant has a strong capability,' Vendia thought, shocked.

"Sir Den, I'm back, and I caught a deer on my way back. Help me clean it u-oh, Miss and Sir Aloit, are you guys already hungry?" Mary arrived carrying dried woods and dead deer on her left shoulder. Vendia looks at her, stunned.

"Oh, yes, perfect. As always, you are amazing, Mary. Sir Den accompanies Miss Vendia for me. I will help Mary instead," Sir Aloit proposes.

"Yes, I will, Sir Aloit," Sir Den responds, and they then went to the back of the tent to clean the deer that Mary caught on her way back.

"Miss?" Sir Den calls at Vendia, but she is still looking outside the tent with a stunned expression.

"Miss?" Sir Den calls out for her again as he went close to her and touches her left shoulder with his right hand. Vendia then flinched and got surprised.

"Oh, sorry, Miss. Did I startle you?" Sir Den's apologies, worried.

"Uh-no, you didn't," Vendia responds, stuttering.

"Are you okay, Miss?" Sir Den consult her.

"Uh, yes. I am. I will go back to my tent for a while to take a nap. Call me later when you guys already finish preparing for our lunch, okay?" Vendia responds.

"Yes, I will, Miss," Sir Den reply as Vendia then nod and leave their tent, hastening to go back to her tent.

'I can't believe this. Everyone here is strong except me. What am I even doing here if I am not even strong? Oh, I'm jealous right now. I want to be strong like them too,' Yerre thought, jealous as she walks back to her tent to relax for a while.

On the other side of the place, Sir Michael, alongside his fifteen people, also stops for a camp. They are near to when Vendia and the other camping.

"Lay, send your eagle up to the sky," Sir Michael calls to one of his men that have white skin, cherry blossom lips, Asian eyes, black curly short hair, and a sturdy figure who wore a commoner cloth that looks like his on his early twenties.

"As you wish," Lay answer, then went to get his eagle to pass on a message to someone.

"Michael, I already sited where bout's, Lady Vendia location," A man who also has a study figure like Lay arrived and sit beside him in the round cut wood.

"Good, where are they right now?" Sir Michael responds.

"They're near to where we are staying," The man's reply.

"I see. Thank you, Fen. Fetch Josh, and Ongi, then proceed to where Lady Vendia, located, monitor them, and if danger occurs. Fire our signal smoke to the sky. We will then run after you guys," Sir Michael instructed, but Fen only looks at him with a straight face.

"What?" Sir Michael added, asking.

"I heard earlier that they are only resting for a while, but they will continue riding back home later," Fen responds.

"I see. Why you didn't say so,"

"I'm sorry," Fen apologies.

"Aiyooo, there's no need to apologize. Come on, let's all eat our lunch for a while, then rest, so we can all follow them later," Sir Michael mentions then Fen nods.

"Michael," Lay announces his arrival, done doing what Michael requests him to do.

"Oh, done already?" Michael asks, then Lay nods. He smiles at him as he then stood up with Fen.

"Great now, call everyone, and let's all gathered to eat lunch. Is Fie already done cooking our lunch?" Michael asks the other man who only arrived a minute ago beside Fen and Lay. Who also looks like he's still in his early twenty. He has a charming charisma and calm aura.

"Yes, the others already eating inside their tent,"

"Say what now?" Michael responds with a dumbfounded expression.

"Ahh... so that is why our place is so quiet already," Lay inserted.

"Why you didn't inform us fast, Vin?" Fen asks with a straight face.

"I can't. You guys are so busy and serious. How could I interrupt?" Vin answer.

"Urk... come on. Let's get going before those trolls eat all our shares," Michael mentions, and the others nod. They then proceed towards the tent. Where everyone gathered for lunch, and they eat their lunch.

On the other side, Vendia and the others had already done eating their lunch. Mary went inside the forest to find a pond so she can wash all the dishes while Sir Aloit and Sir Den are resting under the gigantic cherry blossom tree with Vendia at their side. Holding, a paintbrush, and paintings of different colors.

Vendia put down all the art materials she was holding and went back to the carriage to get a 1/2 size canvass with a stand then fixed it in front of her as Vendia then sits back down to the ground beside Sir Den and Sir Aloit, then she paints the scenery of the place that they are in right now while wearing a satisfied expression in her face.

After fifteen minutes pass, Mary arrived back at their tent, then fixed all the things back to their rightful place, then went outside and saw Vendia painting while smiling. Mary went over to her and sat beside Sir Den.

"Miss," Mary announces her arrival.

"Hm?" Vendia responds with a hum.

"I can talk while your painting, right?" Mary asks.

"Of course, go ahead," Vendia brief reply, then Mary smile.

"What are you painting right now?"

"I am painting the scenery that we are in right now,"

"I see,"

"Mary," Vendia called,

"Yes, Miss?"

"Can you sit beside that small tree over there?" Vendia pointed towards the small tree beside the other cherry blossom trees.

"Why, Miss?"

"Because I want you to become my message delivery inside my painting,"

"Ah, you mean to say that you want me to be part of the subject inside your painting so you can give a message to your receiver?" Mary responds.

"Yes, you're on point," Vendia reply with a smile.

"May I ask to whom you want your message for, Miss?"

"I am referring to a person. Whom I want to meet and see again, but I can't because someone is not allowing me to do so," Vendia mentions, Mary, then realizes what she means by her words.

"Is that the person you supposed to find here at Voldrone land, Miss?"

"Yes," Vendia answer.

"Oh... then what kind of message do you want to portray, Miss?" Mary asks.

"I want to portray a message in my painting, saying. Even if I didn't see that person, I want that person to know that I came here trying away so we can meet again. And I want that person to know that I will wait no matter how long it takes," Vendia mentions, smiling while looking at her painting. Mary felt the warmth and meaning of the message that her Miss wants to convey.

"I see. May I know the name of that person you are talking about, Miss?" Mary requests as Vendia looks at her with a smile on her face.

"Soon, I will tell you, but for now. I can't," Venida answer and Mary felt disappointed, but she understands as she nods as a reply to Vendia.

"That person is lucky to have you, Miss. And I wish to meet that person you are talking about someday," Mary responded, smiling.

"I hope so too," Vendia replies, smiling back at Mary.
