I'm The Boss's Secretary?!
Chapter 183 - Findings-II
The night was still long for Seojun, After receiving the pureblood vampire's words, he jumped from the balcony, regardless of the fact that the balcony was on the thirtieth floor. He climbed from one place on another to descend down until he reached the last roof to make a smooth jump on the floor.
Seojun had no intention to believe Jung Hwa's words. He had seen vampires before and they were full of trickery, sly, and cunning. There was no prove Jung Hwa's words were truth but he knew his relatives and how much they hated her sister as a bringer of misfortune.
When reaching her uncle and aunt's house, Seojun arrived without a key to open the door. Holding the door knob, he pulled his brows to muster his strength and pulled the door knob, destroying it. The sound was loud enough to wake Mrs. Han who couldn't sleep well in her own house after the appearance of Jung Hwa and Seoyeon in their house.
Out of fear, the woman quickly woke up her husband and tell him of the sound she heard. The two then ran down the stairs, taking pan and knifes they had while hiding the rest of things that could be harmful for them. They wouldn't want the monster to harm them and thought to counterattack Jung Hwa if he harm them again.
When reaching the room, they turn all lights in the room and Han Minhae was with her parents after being woken up from her sleep. Nervousness came on the veins as they search for Jung Hwa who could possibly entered the house but after minutes they found no one.
The three grouped in the hallway near the entrance, "Did you hear it wrong?" asked Mr. Han. They have been haunted by the terror and sleepless night because of the appearance of the psychopath. Seeing no one, Mr. Han thought her wife could be paranoid.
"I don't! I really-" Mrs. Han failed to continue her words when she heard a cracking sound from the door. All the eyes immediately went to the door, and Mr. Han bravely pulled the knife in front of him while Han Minhae hide behind her mother who was holding a pan and a knife.
"Good night," greeted Seojun and it took a while for his relatives to see who had spoken. Seeing that it was not Jung Hwa, they all breathed in relief that was short lived when Seojun entered the house and slammed the door close behind him. "Let is have a talk together uncle and auntie. Minhae could you leave us three alone?"
Han Minhae frowned, "Why should I follow your-"
"I am really not in my best mood now," Seojun's eyes glared at the three people in front of him, his anger was evident from his dark expression and on both of his hands were daggers that were gleaming at the family as if to show how sharp it was. "Leave us now." He demanded.
His aunt gulped, quickly turning to her daughter, and say, "Go now, and stay upstairs don't go down, okay?"
"But mom-" Han Minhae protested for her mother to pull her hand and her eyes glared at her daughter to warn her.
"Go," said Mrs. Han and Han Minhae hatefully left by going upstairs, her eyes still lingered at her younger cousin whose expression was very much different than usual. She never knew there was an angry expression on Seojun either and it was her first time to be feel pressured by his expression.
Seojun looked at the knifes and cooking pan his aunt and uncle had on hands, "What are they for?" He question with a frown to then turn and took a seat on the living room which was on the right side after the entrance.
"A monster came yesterday with Seoyeon," replied Mrs. Aunt carefully, "Look at your uncle's hand it is wounded because the vampire stabbed a knife on him."
"Doesn't he deserve that wound?" asked Seojun with a sharp tone, "and you mean vampire not monster, do you?"
"He had red eyes," said his uncle. It confirmed Seojun that Jung Hwa was the same pureblood who had dropped a visit to his relatives' house. He didn't approve the man but with his eyes in his uncle's hand that was wounded, his smile appeared. He would acknowledge the pureblood for giving his uncle a wound.
"That is a vampire," replied Seojun and he pushed the dagger to the scabbard on his waist. "Auntie should knows about them better than me."
"I didn't chose to become a hunter," replied Mrs. Han who was plump in figure compared to how she looked in the past where she was more agile. The age had come to her where picking things that fell in the ground was hard as her back muscle would be caught in process.
"Yes, you didn't but Han family knows what Hunter are they are taught to be one since our ancestors long before. Just like my father and mother who died," added Seojun and his eyes narrowed to get down to the business, "I heard you tried something again to my sister," said Seojun a certain glint came to his eyes that were watching his aunt and uncle who sat in front of her.
Mrs. Han gripped tighter to the armrest, her expression frowning. Did Seoyeon tell Seojun already? She had bet that Seoyeon would choose to keep it down, not wanting to worry Seojun because that was how it always occur before.
"You are not answering," said Seojun who stood up from his seat and the two instantly move back in fear. "You sold her to a human trafficker to take her organs. I heard this belatedly from a vampire. Do you know how I feel?" asked Seojun and his eyes that look at his relatives were with no kindness and cruelty sprout from his eyes.
"I am angry. Very. I never been this angry since the last time you two starved her," Seojun enlightened them of the feeling he had currently surging to his blood.
"We can't help it! She is the catalyst if we don't kill her, the bringer of misfortune, we will die! We are fortune to die by the fortune teller when Seoyeon came to us!" said Mrs. Han in a hurry and Seojun glared his eyes at her. The old woman didn't know what catalyst was. No one know but blame them, thought Seojun in his anger.
"This is where you are wrong," Seojun growled at them, "You are not fortune to die because of Seoyeon. You are fortune to die because you tried to harm her. Now it is uncle's hand that is wounded and I can proof you today how much I really want to take your life to turn your fortune to reality," Seojun's hand stopped at his handle and it alarmed the older couple to raise up from their chair.
"Please Seojun! We are still your aunt and uncle but she- Seoyeon is just someone who was taken into your family!" As soon as Mrs. Han spoke, Seojun's dagger stabbed the table beside him, the loud sound had the couple to flinch on their position, too fearful to move.
"She is my sister with or without the blood. Father and mother tell me to protect her before their death and if I can't protect my own sister from my own family, would I be able to protect her from harm in outside world?" questioned Seojun and it made him feel furious when he found how both his uncle and aunt wasn't the least feeling remorse to what they did.
"Do you know how less you two are to my eyes compared to Sister?" Seojun pulled his dagger his footsteps slowly move toward them to corner the two toward the wall. At the same time their back hit the walls, Seojun's dagger stabbed the wall beside Mr. Han's head. Seeing the knife and how it sparkled a light, cold sweats covered their faces.
"I will remind you this the last time. Leave this city or forever never show your face to Seoyeon. This is your last chance and if one day I found you harming sister again, I swear on father and mother's name I will end your life today." Seojun warned them before passing by his uncle to pull the dagger that stuck on the wall. Before he left from the entrance, Seojun's eyes snapped to the top of the stair case.
Han Minhae covered her mouth, feeling the fear on her after witnessing Seojun's anger she had never been a victim of. The older cousin had never seen of be at the end of the stick of Seojun's anger. At first, she couldn't understand why her mother would tell her to leave but hearing about vampires and hunters, a mixed feeling sprout on Han Minhae who knows nothing about her blood line.
Could it be she is someone important? asked Han Minhae in her mind and somewhere the greed to come before Seoyeon arrived to make her smile.
