I'm The Boss's Secretary?!

Lee Taein who had been acting like Lee Taehyung reached out his hand but not to circle it around Seulgi's shoulders for support as he carry her on her back, it was to take her slender neck and wring her life. Lee Taein couldn't understand why his brother had chosen a human woman. 

Seulgi who received no response then turn her face to look at him only for Lee Taein to march forward after taking her neck on his hand and pushed her to the nearest wall. Things went so fast that before Seulgi realized what took place, her back hurt her and so was the grip on her neck.

Her eyes snapped wide while staring back at the person who she thought was the person she love, "T-Taehyung? W-What's wrong?"

Seulgi had turned to a vampire despite the unorthodox method, her body had gotten much stronger compared to a normal human. Though the grip on her neck was painful it wasn't deadly, allowing her to speak as Taein had expected. 

Lee Taein pulled a wide smile, and Seulgi couldn't understand how such a malicious expression could appear on Taehyung's face as he had always been a very gentle person.

"How bothersome," Lee Taein clicked his tongue, "I thought you were smart but the method of meeting you every night is enough to fool you into falling in love for me?"

Seulgi couldn't grasp what happened, when air slipped from her lungs and she tried to breathe in again, Taein strengthen his hold on her neck, causing her to gasp, "Don't say anything, I know what you are thinking, this isn't the first time I have done this. Is it scary? All this time you have been fooled by a dark witch, what do you think, funny isn't it?"

"D-Dark witch?" Seulgi questioned, her eyes wide because she had never expected Lee Taehyung to be a dark witch. 

"How was my act, Seulgi?" Taein continued, it wasn't his first time posing as his brother before then killing them. There was fulfillment and enjoyment when he saw people who his brother hold dear begin to sink in that they have been betrayed. "That expression is perfect for you, Seulgi. I knew how beautiful you will look with that scared and pained look. I have been waiting for this for a very very long time."

Seulgi's gaze froze. She felt her heart as if it had been stabbed when it was the skin on her neck that felt burning in pain. She huffed for breath, "You are a dark witch?" and questioned.

"Is it not enough to understand it by how my hand is on your neck, strangling you?" Lee Taein chuckled, using the same voice as his brother, Seulgi couldn't help but believe this man was Lee Taehyung. "I knew that my spell on you to love for me is too deep but to still resist the truth until now? You are far more stupid than I thought."

Seulgi stared at Taein without struggling— all because she was too surprised by what she had just learned. Taehyung was different than how he portrayed himself to be in front of her, and maybe this was the truth? All this time he had been beside her, watching her, making her to love him so to increase her trust on him. All that he did, all of it was for show?

"Why?" was the single word Seulgi could muster. She was too deep in shock, unable to process or let herself process what had transpired now.

Although most of the relationship Seulgi had in the past was either toxic with her boyfriends using her as their credit card or where she had once been abused, somewhere in her heart, when she looked at her ex boyfriend's eyes, she could tell how they were lurking their hidden intention beneath their gaze. Only Lee Taehung was different, he was a very gentle person who spoke lovingly, or so was what she had conveniently guessed until now. The way he spoke lovingly didn't change now, instead it became too lovely, so much that she couldn't handle it as her heart felt the squeeze after every hurting words he uttered. 

"Is there any reason?" Scoffed Taein, he took pleasure upon seeing how Seulgi's heart was broken from his act. "With your flower filled brain, I guess you won't be able to understand but for thanking your stupid brain for falling to my trick too easily, I will answer your question. I needed to kill you."

The pain on her neck was painful but tears that slipped from the corner of Seulgi's eyes weren't only due to pain from her neck but heart. "Kill me? Taehyung, you are lying to me, aren't you?" Seulgi tried to be hopeful. She decided to trust the past few months they shared together, the beautiful memories of the kind side of Lee Taehyung who would always be there for her. 

"Why should I lie?" came Taein's answer that sunk Seulgi's heart to her stomach. "Do you know what feeling was in me while watching you all this past months?" questioned Taein with his brows drawn together. Seulgi watched how the man's eyes narrowed and a savage look took place on his bright colored eyes, "My stomach and guts felt churned and twist and I felt sick that such a human like you living so happily with smiles. You were born spoiled by your parents, loved, and I hate people who are loved. When I see women like you, there is this feeling in me that wish I could destroy you, turn you broken to the point where despair will only settle on your eyes before killing you."

"Because of that you always visited me at night?" Seulgi questioned. As she try to raise her hope by recalling the memories they shared, his words were like saber to cut her hope to pieces. "To gain my trust?"

"Yes," Taein answered, slowly pulling his smile while staring back at Seulgi as he knew his face was the carbon copy of his brother's.

"You are lying," Seulgi said, "Why didn't you kill me soon but now? Just because you wish to see me hurt?"

"Ha," Taein rolled his eyes, "Let's wake you up from your dream, shall we, Seulgi?" 

Seulgi didn't have time to comprehend his words as in the next second Taein's hand pushed deep into her stomach. The pain didn't immediately spread to her body and perhaps because it was her heart that felt more wounded. She looked down, her hand pressed on bellow Taein's hand that had pierced her stomach. Her hand felt wet and warm, red liquid spreading on her clothes. 

Her eyes went to a daze as if fog settled on her eyes and when she looked down, the color of red similar to the color of her eyes filled her eyes. It was blood. 

She looked shocked, because deep down Seulgi still trusted Taehyung. Now all her hope had been broken— her heart had been shattered. 

Taein looked at Seulgi's expression in an utter bliss. He had longed to killed Seulgi since far long time ago. His brother, thought Taein, "I would never let anyone of you have happiness." And before Seulgi could think or took in his words, his hand that pressed her stomach went deeper, causing her to gasp for breath.

More blood dripped from her stomach, "When I was young I suffered a lot, Seulgi," Taein called her name in the sweetest tone that Seulgi hope he wouldn't. "I had to be locked deep in the basement, exempted from food. Do you know what takes me to see the sun for almost eighteen years of my life? It was until my brother left the house. What a goody two shoes. He thought that he had saved me but that was an excuse. He never saved me."

"Maybe you were locked in the basement for a reason," said Seulgi with a great difficulty. She loved him but she had been betrayed. The pain begin to spread in her whole body from her stomach to her limbs 

Taein didn't take it as an offense, "It's always boring when I had to kill people who speak nothing. I am glad to see that you still have some fight in you. Then do you know what was the first thing I had to do when I was released from the basement? I didn't get to see the Sun, I had to eat humans. Don't you find that funny? I have thought that living above the basement was something great but it only push me to the brink."

It was his past that cause him to turn twisted, thought Seulgi and she can't help but chuckle to herself who felt sympathize and tried to understand the current Taehyung. She knew she was a sucker for men whom she loved. It had always been to the point where she pardoned whatever her boyfriends did to her because she loved them too much but that cause her to be hurt for more times. 

Taein rose his eyebrows upon seeing Seulgi chuckle, "What's funny?" His smile fell, thinking that Seulgi had laughed at him which didn't went unnoticed by Seulgi.

Instead of looking frightened, Seulgi showed the man a smile, "I was just thinking what you will say next. Or whether will you blame others and hope that I would blame them too when you were the one who had stabbed me."

"Is that your last word? You should have obediently listen to my word before dying, Seulgi, choose your words wiser. I am on edge on killing you," Taein smiled as he pulled his hand, more blood poured from the cavity on Seulgi's stomach. More agonizing pain spread all over Seulgi's body that she couldn't help but twist on the ground when she knew she should run.

Although vampires are stronger as they have healing, it didn't help the pain to lessen. The pain was enough to drive her mad. "I have two choices. Whether to kill you with another stab on journey heart or let you suffer now in pain until your death. As I have been kind to you, why don't I act kind one last time to you, Seulgi? Hm?" Taein pressed his feet on her wound, causing Seulgi to groan in pain. "What do you chose?"

Seulgi lifted the side of her face to look at Taehyung. The person who she loved turns out to be a person who had been wanting to kill her. Though she had bravely spoke those words as if he had forgotten her love for him, the fact was, her heart still felt painful, even more painful than all the shock of pain traveling to her body now. 

"You are a liar," Seulgi spat, tears slipping more from her eyes.

"I am that's why you shouldn't believe in me, Taehyung," Taein answered, making sure she recall the name of who that had killed her and raised his hand toward her chest. Seulgi closed her eyes, expecting the pain when a shattering sound came and the feet that pressed her body disappeared.

Her daze eyes manage to look at the man who stood next to the door. His clothes were clean, his face was the same one as the person who had stabbed her but when he looked at her, concern and worry appear, "Seulgi!"
