The Wind Wyvern that was born was bigger than the egg. Rather, perhaps it was too big and was born ahead of time. This was because I was pouring mana into its demon nucleus core, and it would absorb everything no matter how much I poured in, so while amused, I sent the mana over as it absorbed it. Of course, there were limits and I made sure to not give it too much, but it seems that the Wind Wyvern’s demon nucleus core before it was born was clearly too big for the egg.

My younger sister, Cruz-kun, Ilya-chan, as well as the other familiars besides Pii-chan and the Big Kokkos had gathered around the Wind Wyvern before I knew it and the hut that was prepared for the egg was crowded. 

It seems that Pii-chan was much happier about the birth of the Wind Wyvern than my younger sister and the others. Perhaps it was happy that there was another fellow that could fly? Unlike the Shadow Owl, the Seacats seemed more like rivals. The Big Kokkos could not fly, so let’s ask Pii-chan for hunting practice or something.

Before that, what were we going to do about the Wind Wyvern’s food. Why don’t I go ask Ojii-san about what food it would eat. 

「Cock a doodle」

「Yelp yelp」

Suddenly, I looked over at the Wind Wyvern, and the Big Kokkos, the Milhorns, and the Kolbolds were all feeding it. Big Kokkos’ food was something similar to earthworms (?), the Milhorns’ was milk that someone had milk for them, and the Kolbolds’ was all kinds of meats and fruits. 

「Gyau, gyau!」

The Wind Wyvern was happily eating and drinking the meat and milk. There was both raw and roasted meat, but no matter which kind it was, it was eating them happily. Rather, it was just born, but was it alright for it to eat that much? In addition, perhaps it was because it didn’t eat the Big Kokkos’ earthworm-like thing, as they seemed sad. Ah, no, it was, more or less, eating it. Maybe it was because there were other things to eat, so it just didn’t eat that. Then perhaps Wyverns were omnivores.

After that, I did not get the chance to show up as it was mostly the Big Kokkos who were taking care of the Wind Wyvern. As always, both babies and children were popular at our orphanage. Let’s go tell the children who were not specialized in combat to quickly come and take a look. Oh yes, I need to call Sakuya-chan as well.

When it grows up, it will be strong, so it might be good to let it meet Director-sensei as soon as possible.

The Wyvern egg was, for the time being, settled, but there was still a problem. The scales and claws of the Wind Dragons. When they were first brought over to us, I had said that these kinds of valuable items were troublesome, but they said that they had fallen down and were thrown away, so they were brought over to us many times. One of the oji-sans said that since we didn’t like it that much, he would bring something else, and what he brought over was a『Wind Dragon Scale』. No matter if it was from the Wind Dragon or the Wind Dragon, it did not change the fact that they were valuable items, so no matter which one they gave us, it was still troubling. I was worried about what we should do, but if we had this much, we could try testing out various things, so I decided to gather the productions group and attempted to process them.

The blacksmith group used the claws, fangs, and scales for the weapons and armor…before that, we needed to try to see if we could process them.

Would the needlework group be able to sew the scales onto clothes? And, I had the woodworking group try to use the scales to make shields. 

As for me, I attempted to make potions together with the pharmacist group. The materials were the scales, so there was some opposition, but in manga and anime, when one used the scales, the effects would be increased, so I wanted to try it. 

I had, more or less, tried asking Ojii-san about it, but I was naturally told that there was no way that they would process something that was a part of their bodies and that they didn’t use potions, so I could only do some experiments.
