Legendary Shadow

Bugsy summoned a powerful Heracross. He had a big smile on his face and Liam was a little creeped out by this. He checked the level on the Heracross only to find that it was a level 80. Liam had the perfect Pokémon to counter Heracross and which was Charizard. Since Heracross was a bug and fighting type, Charizard was the perfect candidate to wipe that smile off Bugsy's face since Charizard was a flying and fire type. 

When Charizard came out, Bugsy's smile immediately went away as he thought that he was officially screwed. The battle ended very quickly as Charizard played around with Heracross like a rag doll. Heracross didn't even have a chance as he was sadly defeated. Bugsy was not satisfied with this battle as he handed over the badge to Liam. Liam said his thanks and left. As he was leaving, he started hearing a voice in his head saying "Help me!" It sounded like a little girl. He looked around to see if anyone was around, but he didn't see anybody, so he went to the Pokémon Center to get the Pokémon that had battled recharged for the next day. 

When Liam was going to leave the town the next day, he woke up and heard the same voice again. As he looked around his room, he thought he was losing his mind and thought that it had something to do with the purification. Liam knew he started to lose his mind due to the devil type as he always had the urge to kill somebody. Now that he thought about it, he was always angry, and he had killed quite a lot of Pokémon during that Pokémon raid so if it wasn't for the purification, he would have gone on an ugly road which he wouldn't have liked. 

Liam thought about what Elder Li taught him and shook his head and said that he wouldn't let him down. He heard the voice again, but this time he ignored it. As he was leaving, he went to go see Kurt Warner let him know that he was leaving as they had lunch together. Liam spent that morning meditating so when it was afternoon, he started to get hungry. After visiting Kurt, he left the town and made his way towards Ilex Forest. 

Liam trained his Pokémon for a bit while going through this forest. It had kind of an eerie feel to it as he went through it battling some Pokémon and trainers. Now he was hearing the voice even louder in his head and just couldn't ignore it. After a while, he started responding back by asking "Where are you?" but he would not get an answer-back. One day he was traveling through the forest and suddenly, he was teleported into the sky. As he was falling down, he saw what seemed like an island with several ancient-looking buildings. 

He was amazed by how beautiful the island looked but then he remembered he was falling from a high distance, so he quickly had Mewtwo use psychic to safely land him on the ground. When he landed, he returned Mewtwo quickly and started exploring the island. It had a lot of trees and fruits as they gave it the jungle kind of feel. The air was a little hard to breathe due to it being at such high heights, but Liam was able to ignore it as he continued to explore the area that he landed in. 

Meanwhile, there was an evil scientist on that very Island who had captured the mythic Pokémon Celebi. She was the one who had been calling out to Liam for help this whole time. After Liam's purification, he had become one with the Earth so Celebi was able to connect with him due to his heart becoming pure. Before, she had a protective barrier over her in order to avoid being experimented on by this mad scientist who called himself Devon. 

He was quite the character and the mad scientist was trying to figure out the time elements. In order to do that, he had raided the forest. He had finally captured Celebi after years of searching and now that he had her, he wasn't able to get to her due to the barrier that was surrounding her. Now that Liam had arrived on the island, she felt safe and knew that he would come and rescue her. They had a laboratory and a prison where he kept all the experiments, even his failed experiments. Celebi was contacting all the prisoners every day and letting them know that she was getting help. Communicating with them made her powers weak as Dr. Devon had put a power dampener on her cell so, the only thing she was able to do was that barrier and she was barely holding on. 

Even with that, Liam was still looking around when he spotted a bunch of Magnemites and Magnetons patrolling the area. It seemed like Dr. Devon had his patrols working extra hard due to having a bad feeling of getting invaded. Liam quickly hid as he saw a team coming in his direction. The approaching security team went past him as he went into stealth mode. He put on his Team Rocket gear and waited till nightfall to continue parading around. He eventually made his way into the laboratory as he went through security in order to check the place out.
