Legendary Shadow

That night, a crowd gathered in front of the Mahogany Gym as they watched it burn down. Firefighters appeared on the scene, trying their best to put out the fire with their trusted water Pokémon. After a few hours of fighting the fire, they were able to water down every fire that was present. 

What was left behind was just a burnt down building, and the gym leader with his trainers, all burnt to a crisp? Once everybody got inside, they were surprised that an Ice-type trainer was able to burn down the gym so quickly. Still, they didn't know the whole situation, so they let the police do their jobs. 

Liam had left town after hearing about a case going on in Goldenrod City. He used Shadow to fly him over to the city. While flying, he remembered the incident that happened at the radio station. He decided to go help out, but when he got there, it wasn't necessary as Ash and a few others came together to stop the newly-formed Team Shadow from taking over the radio station and using it to commit a crime. 

Abigail had no idea that some of her higher-ups had gone behind her back to try to get in contact with Giovanni under the name of Team Shadow. That was a story for another day. Liam had become a little frustrated after not being able to kill anybody in Goldenrod City, so he decided to vent out his frustration by giving Whitney a call. 

Surprisingly Whitney was around, so they linked up for the night as it got wild and crazy. The next morning Ash and his friends had defeated Team Shadow, and everything was back to normal. Liam decided not to wake up early and slept throughout the morning. With Whitney holding onto him tightly, he had a bad feeling, and he felt that he should have called her. 

Liam saw the way that she clung on to him as he wanted to sneak out, but it seemed like it was impossible. Her grip was no joke, and Liam wondered where she was able to get the strength from. When the afternoon finally came about, they finally woke up. Whitney finally let Liam go as they were about to have brunch. 

After eating till he was full, Liam told Whitney he would be leaving that very night because his journey was becoming quite slow, so he needed to keep it moving. Whitney, on the other hand, had other plans as she wanted to trick Liam into staying a little bit longer. Hence, they hung out for the rest of the day until night came when Liam summoned Shadow and used Shadow Movement to escape from the city. 

When morning came, Whitney was beyond angry as Liam was missing from the bed. Liam was quite glad that he was out of there as he knew how possessive Whitney could be. After passing through Mahogany Town once again, Liam made his way through Route 44 battling trainers non-stop. Latios had improved quite a bit in the battle area as he won battle after battle and leveled up quickly, trying to catch up with Shadow.
