Liam woke up the next morning refreshed. "It is time for my battle" he said while grinning. He stretched his arms out before meditating for a little bit. After a while, everybody woke up as they prepared themselves to go watch Liam's battle.

Arriving at the stadium in the afternoon, the place was packed and full of energy and ready to watch the next battles unfold themselves. And Liam was battling a strong trainer called Kerras.

She stood on the other side of the stage with a blank look on her face and hands in her pocket.

"About time you showed up. I was getting bored." she said. "Can we hurry up and get this over with? I know you're strong, but I doubt you'll be able to defeat me and my team. And of course, you can bring out your Tyranitar because I will not go easy on you. So, if you give me the chance, I will bring out all six of my Pokémon because nobody has taken down my entire team. I will not go easy on you and I will take every little advantage I could get."

Liam nodded. He approved of this girl and thought 'She was the only smart one to take advantage of this.' The referee nodded his head in agreement, but everybody was surprised that Liam took out two poke balls instead of one.

"If you're going to use all six of your Pokémon I might as well get a helper for my Tyranitar."

"Go Tyranitar and Morteon."

Kerras was surprised that Liam finally took out a Pokémon other than Tyranitar and got a little excited. Kerras saw this and thought, 'At least he acknowledges me to be able to take out another Pokémon for the first time in this tournament.'

But she had no clue who this Pokémon was. It looked like an Eevee, but it was a Ghost type at the same time. She was quite excited, and for the first time during this tournament, she showed a small smile.

"Okay I'll play with you for a bit," said Kerras as she took out her poke balls. All six of them were thrown into the air and six Pokémon came out.

"Ampharos, Gyarados, Venusaur, Wobbuffet, Meganium, and Espeon come out and play." The levels of these Pokémon were nothing to look down on so Liam told Morteon and Tyranitar to go all out right from the start as they released their devil powers and charged at the group.

Morteon immediately paralyzed all of them in one go by using a thunder wave while Tyranitar used a powerful Earthquake to smash them all down. Kerras was extremely surprised at the might that Liam's Pokémon were displaying. She knew that he was strong but experiencing firsthand and face-to-face was different than watching it from the stands or on a video.

"You're quite strong and if you think that last attack was going to give you your win, I'm sorry but I'm not some kind of pushover." With a relaxed face, she gave out a command surprising everybody there as they thought that all her Pokémon had fainted from Tyranitar and Morteon's combo.

Meganium and Venusaur used Vine Whip and brought everybody up from the crater. Wobbuffet absorbed all the power attacks from the Earthquake, and used Counter.

All six of the Pokémon had jumped out using Vine Whip from both grass Pokémon.

Liam was impressed as they were able to survive that attack, but he knew that this was going to be hard as Kerras was a top-notch trainer and not one he could easily defeat. "Sorry, not this time" Kerras said while having her usual straight face.

Wobbuffet quickly unleashed his counter attack as he charged towards Tyranitar. Tyranitar dodged the attack and used Crunch as he bit into Wobbuffet. Wobbuffet immediately fainted after receiving a head-on attack from Tyranitar. Morteon had also not been slacking as she went on the offensive and used Nightshade blasting the group back.

But suddenly, she was tied up as vines had roped her in. Venusaur and Meganium teamed up to deal with Morteon as they flipped her into the air and slammed her down. But instead of them receiving a slam of satisfaction, Morteon had disappeared into the ground shocking them both as she was able to free herself.

Morteon appeared in front of both and used Hypnosis as they both fell asleep. A shadow appeared before them and they were s.u.c.k.e.d into it shocking the whole crowd. Kerras was furious at this point and she asked, "Where did he take my Pokémon?"

Liam smirked and said, "Don't worry. We will return them once the battle is done or you can admit defeat now. If you surrender now you shall receive them now."

Kerras was not the type to give up just like that so she had no choice but to continue the battle.

Grinding her teeth, she said "Let us continue."
