Love is a Sweet Poison

Gabriel immediately protected Amelia making sure that she did not get hurt and took the blunt force while holding her. He started laughing and pulled her in for a kiss. 

Amelia kissed Gabriel back and started to laugh with him. She kept her body against his and smiled down at him. "You are amazing." 

"It is you that did all the work, and you are amazing at how fast you catch on." He held her close to his racing heart. "If you are ready we can get ready for classes and I will get all these papers taken to the carriage." 

"Okay," Amelia Says this and slowly gets up blushing. She sits on the ground before getting up and pulling out her school yukata. 

Gabriel got up and went to his room. Slowly he pulled out his stuff for school and get dressed in the proper clothing before he headed out to the yard. "Kosuke, we are going to be going to class today. Please prepare the carriage so that Amelia and I can make it on time. 

"Right away, Young Master." Kosuke smiles at Gabriel and gets to work on preparing the carriage.

Gabriel walks to the kitchen and pokes his head in. "Good Morning, Kuma. Let's do a light breakfast and lunch to go for both Amelia and myself." 

Kuma had two bento boxes on the counter and turned to Gabriel. "I figured that you would be asking for lunch soon. I have everything almost ready. Breakfast will be only a moment. Where do you want it brought to?" 

"Amelia's room please and thank you. I will be there helping her complete some of her assignments." Gabriel waved and walked back to Amelia's room. 

Amelia had watched as Gabriel left and then got ready to leave. She heard a knock at the door and just was holding the yukata yup. "Come in." 

Miyuki came into the room and went to where Amelia was. "Let me tie the obi up for you." She expertly tied it up quickly. "Sorry for my delay."

"Nonsense. You are not late. I was up early with Gabriel going over some of my studies. I had a few questions about an assignment." Amelia turned and hugged Miyuki. "Thank you for all your hard work."

Miyuki hugged Amelia back. "I was in the kitchens and a lighter breakfast has been made so that you can eat it on the way to your classes. I normally would 0bring everything here but sometimes there won't be enough time." 

Gabriel knocked on the door then came in. "We have a little extra time this morning. Kuma said that it was almost ready. If you don't mind could I trouble you to go and collect the breakfast that he has made for us?"

Miyuki bowed to Gabriel and smiled happily. "I will be right back with breakfast." Then she left the room with a skip in her step.

Amelia merely nodded her head and leaned into his side relaxing under his embrace. "I had planned to work on the needlepoint, but I think I will leave that for this evening." 

Miyuki came back with breakfast and some tea. "Here is your breakfast." She placed the trays down and poured the tea.

"Itadakimasu." Amelia ate a few pieces of the egg roll before picking up a meat bun and biting into that. She placed her hand on her cheek and moaned. "This is soooo good." 

Gabriel chuckled, "Itadakimasu. I am glad that you are enjoying the meat buns. It was something that your Mother requested that Kuma make for you." 

"She will soon be your Mother as well but that is something that she would do. I ate a lot of meat buns because she would make sure that whatever nutrients I was missing would be inside the buns." Amelia took another bite.

"She is a wonderful Mother. That would be a food that I agree that you should eat. It is good that you can eat what is inside." Gabriel picked up an onigiri and bit into it and in the centre was a pickled plum. "There are three types of onigiri pickled plum, fish, and meat." He shows Amelia the inside of the one that he was eating.

Amelia finished the bun off and grabbed an onigiri. She bit into it and inside the one she was eating was fish. She ate only a few bites then drank that tea that was in front of her. "Gochisousama. It was really tasty. I am impressed that I was able to eat as much as I did." Amelia got up and took her medicine, drank water, then came back to Gabriel and Miyuki. 

Gabriel took the onigiri that she didn't finish and ate the rest. He ate a few more and another meat bun. "Gochisousama. Miyuki you can have the rest of the food except these meat buns." Gabriel picked up two meat buns and placed them in a cloth and handed them to Amelia. He then picked up all the assignments that Amelia had finished. He started walking to the carriage.

Amelia took the meat buns and smiled at Miyuki, "Thank you for brining us breakfast. Gabriel is right, I would hate for this to go to waste so please help yourself, unless the leftovers are unappealing." 

"Don't worry. I know that it is untouched, so I am not worried, and I will happily eat the food. Go before you are late in arriving to class." Miyuki shooed her from the room and followed after her. She went into the kitchen and grabbed the lunches and brought them to the carriage.

Gabriel placed all the papers in a cloth wrap on the seat and wrapped it so that it would not go all over the place. He turned and saw Amelia. "Come and get in." He held out his hand waiting for her to climb in. Once she was inside Miyuki appeared with the bento boxes. Gabriel smiled and took them form Miyuki. "I almost forgot. Thank you Miyuki. I will look after Amelia while we are at the school." 

Miyuki bowed, "have a lovely day the both of you." She smiled at Kosuke and waved as the carriage started to drive off.

Gabriel had placed the food across from the two of them and hugged Amelia. "I will admit that I am a little nervous about today. I finally choose a partner, and you are officially off the market. If you have any issues you can come to me." 

Amelia looked out the window while nodding her head. "I understand. I would've come to you without you telling me to come to you." She let out a yawn and rested her head on his shoulder. She stops fighting sleep and passes out.

Gabriel feels her pass out and allows her to rest on his side. "Rest well. I will wake you up at the school." He held her hand. He looked out the window but when she slightly started to fall he quickly pulled her, so that she would be lying down in his lap. Gabriel ran his hand down her back while taking in her slight floral scent. After the time passed Gabriel lightly shook her shoulder. "Angel, we are almost at the school." 

Amelia's eyes fluttered open, and she let out a little yawn. "I didn't mean to rest so long, but I was most comfortab… how did I get on your lap?" 

"You almost fell over, so I made sure that you would not get injured. I am glad that you had a comfortable rest." Gabriel assisted in Amelia sitting up right and ran his hands through her hair so that she didn't look like she just woke up.

"Thank you." Amelia let him do as he wished, and she sat up straight. She turned once he was down and kissed him on the cheek. "A reward for your effort and for you protecting me."

Gabriel leans over and kisses her lightly on the lips. "A kiss to remember throughout the day as you will be busy with exams and such." The carriage stops and Gabriel grabs the satchel of papers then exists and holds out his hand to her. 

Amelia lifted the bento boxes and took Gabriel's hand. She noticed that there was people staring at her and Gabriel but her attention went back to Gabriel. "Thank you but you must not forget your lunch." 

"It was not a matter of forgetting, but I wanted you to have lunch with me." He smiled and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"If you do not mind Sachi and Ami being there." Amelia blushed and started to walk towards the school building.
