"Whether you like it or not, I'll put you under an illusion" Even though Bonny is a powerful Knight but Number D2 is an even more powerful Grand Knight

Number D2 can easily put a single Knight under an illusion spell. The mage waved his hand and a purple light covered Bonny's body

The Knight can feel something invading his soul and tried his best to resist. However, to Bonny's horror, he can feel his resistance being easily subdued

The unwillingness on his eyes vanished and turned into a lifeless look. His eyes look dead and he succumb into the soul spell

Not wanting to waste any more time, Number D2 asked the most important question. "Did you order someone to kill the Young Master Calter?"

Bonny's lifeless body turned to the Grand Knight and answered honestly. "Yes, I commissioned for assassins to kill Calter" Bonny honestly replied

As Number D2 also wants to know the truth, he didn't change what Bonny's answers going to be. It was the man's honest answer that wasn't manipulated by any magic

Calter's mage slaves countenance turned colder before Number D2 waved his wand again and Bonny lose consciousness. "You heard his answer"

Number D2 looked around the people from the Khan Clan and no one of them dared to show any bit of resistance. Blaze's situation before wasn't able to show much his true power as there are hundreds of Knights aiming for his life

However, against these few Knights, Number D1 and D2 can do whatever they want. Even if these mages resisted, some would just be killed and the two can easily flee. Even if there are tens of Knights here, they cannot do anything!

"I-It was B-Bonny's fault. H-he must pay for his actions" the Khan Patriarch said as all he wants now is for these powerful beings to vanish from his sight

"You do have some mind. We'll take this man along with his son!" Number D2 pointed his magic wand at Brony and the man lose consciousness too

If even Magic Knights are this powerless against him, what more a mere Magic Warrior?

The Knight slaves of Calter walked towards the unconscious pair of father and son and carried them away amidst the terrified eyes looking at them

Back at the Magic Tower, the two were imprisoned in cages which have an even worst condition than the ones used to imprison Magic Beasts

The two were sitting on the ground while their hands and feet were covered by a metal that has formations on them. It prevented the use of mana and they don't have any chance of escaping

The two looked each other with fear as they didn't know what kind of fate they will have. That is until they heard the sound of footsteps that made them even scared

They were locked for a few hours while fearing what will happen to them. But now, it seems like they will know what their fates are going to be after the person that caused the sounds of footsteps arrived

In front of the cage, a young man can be seen standing with a sadistic smile on his face. The two men at the caged stared hatefully at Calter. They thought that the City Lord did this because of him. Not knowing that this was all arranged by Calter himself

"Look at what we have here" Calter said and retrieved a box that the one that almost killed Kence before was very familiar with

Opening the box, Calter caressed the tools inside it and was wondering on what he should use first

The two cannot see what is inside that box which just raised their fears. "W-what are you trying to do?!" Brony asked, acting a bit brave but it was still too visible for everyone to see that he's very scared

"Nothing much, just thinking what tool I should use for my first torture on you" Calter said in a simple manner as if he's just choosing what kind of tea to drink

The horror, the fears, the pain, the tears, all of those flashed on Calter's mind. The warm blood that splashed on his body from Kence's chest and mouth was something that his body can still remember

In the surface, it looks like he already forgot about all of it and moved on. However, in reality, he just needs to be strong. He needs to steel his mind for Kence's sake. He can't break down again as that won't achieve anything

No one except for Calter knows how painful it was. It was a pain that you cannot imagine unless you personally experienced it. It was a suffocating and excruciating pain. It will make your heart cold and your very being will scream in pain

He was holding on for a long time and he can now unleash all of the pent-up emotions

"Should I make cuts, remove the nails, burn alive, continuously punched with a metal knuckle? Haaa.. There are so many choices that I don't even know what to choose" Calter said and sigh as if he can't make a decision on what to eat in a restaurant

His words terrified the two people inside the cage. They are Nobles their whole lives and no one dared to hurt them. They might not even know what pain feels like. They are very scared that Calter might really do all the things he just said

"I want to make it bloody in a slow way. So, I guess, I'll make cuts all over you first"

Calter opened the cage and entered inside like he finally decided what to eat and is now ready to order

"D-don't get c-close to us!" Bonny fearfully said. The way Calter look at them was very different than how a person looks at a human being

Brony and Bonny can feel that Calter is not perceiving them as humans

Calter retrieved a small yet very sharp knife from the torture box before he loosened his hold on it and the box landed on the ground

The two that are already very scared turned even horrified as the tools inside the torture box scattered around. Some even landed very close to the two

They tried moving away but the metals on their bodies restricted them. Their eyes went wide open as Calter walks in front of Bonny with a sick smile and crouched down to reach the man

With a flashed of the knife, a few inches long cut was made on Bonny's face and blood leaked out from it. Calter's eyes reddened at seeing those blood

He remembered how Kence also bled like that because of the fire arrow. Insanity once again overcome Calter, a single cut was not enough and he did it for the second time

However, the second, third, fourth, and so on cuts didn't made a difference. It was still not simply enough. He wants to make these people bleed thousands, no, millions of times much than how Kence bled

Screams echoed in the lower floor of Calter's Magic Tower. Instead of shuddering from those screams, it just acted as a fuel for Calter to continue

Every scream is a testimony that his hated people are going through an unimaginable pain. But it was still not enough. For Calter, no amount of pain can take back the pain that Kence felt before

Calter will hate everyone that hurt Kence, including his own self. He hated how stupid he was to avoid Kence after all the things the latter did for him. He himself hurt the person that he never wants to experience pain

It was a horrible experience when he realized that. However, to make Kence happy and in good condition, he needs to suppress the blame he has for himself. He cannot show a weak side of him in front of Kence. He must be strong, strong enough to shoulder all the hardships and pain

Calter continued his inhuman torture, when there was no area on Bonny's face that was left untouched, the knife on his hand lowered. This time, his next targets were Bonny's arm

Brony who was in the side peed his pants and has snot leaking down his nose. "S-stop! P-please stop!" The man pleaded. Seeing how his father shouted from the pain, he can't imagine what will happen if it was finally his turn

"Stop! Please... w-we won't do it again! Please stop!" Brony pleaded in fear. However, that kind of voice is not something that Calter wants to hear

A scared tone is not enough to satisfy Calter. "Shut up! You are noisy, wait for your turn!" Calter said angrily and gave Brony a kick on the face

Calter continued his deprived act and the pair of father and son had cuts all over their body. It was very painful as Calter slowly cut their skin and flesh so that the pain will register on their mind one by one

Blood dyed Calter's hands and face as he looked at the two unconscious people who was bathing on their own blood while panting hard

Calter can feel warm stream of tears falling down from his eyes. He might be strong and domineering but Kence is his soft and weak spot. It was too easy to hurt and turn him insane if they used Kence against him

As if the world itself want to play a cruel trick on Calter, a voice that he always wants to hear entered his ears. But it was a voice that he doesn't want to hear on his current situation

"B-Big Brother" That voice that always struck the strings of his heart called out

Calter's whole body stiffened. His heart started beating fast and color was drained from his face. Calter wished that he was hearing wrong but that same voice entered his ears again. "B-Big Brother"

Even though he was unwilling, Calter turned his body back. Sure enough, the outcome he doesn't want to happen actually happened. Kence was standing there with an emotion on his face that Calter doesn't want to decipher

"K-Kence...n-no... t-they are the o-ones t-that almost k-killed you!" Calter tried to explain himself as anxiety tightened its grip on his heart

"I-I c-cannot forgive t-them! T-they hurt you! C-Close your eyes! D-don't l-look at such a s-scene" Calter's voice was trembling and he felt that everything is over

How can Kence fall in love with him when the youth saw what kind of thing he does? Behind the sweet and gentle Calter in front of Kence was an extremely abusive and cruel demon

A demon that didn't even flinched when doing such an inhuman torture. A torture that will break everyone's spirits

Despair clouded Calter's face as he lowered his head. Things about reality started hitting him

Kence is such an innocent and pure man who never hurt anyone on his life. A man that always does the good thing and never thought of harming anyone even just a bit. Calter almost never saw Kence getting angry before. The youth always treated everyone with respect unlike him

Kence is like a saint of purity and goodness. While he on the other hand....

Calter looked at his own hands that were dyed by his enemies' blood. Somehow, although he doesn't want Kence to see him in such a situation but he didn't regret it. Calter will never regret it

How can he regret getting back at the people that were the cause of Kence's pain? Brony is even the one that killed Kence on his past life

In some sense, Brony was the reason why he turned like this. In Calter's past life, he was filled with anger and the desire for revenge. He was a trash that didn't want to put effort on anything and just wants to live a life of riches

However, when Brony killed Kence, he realized how much the youth meant to him. It comes to the point that cultivation is the only thing on his mind. He never cared about anything else. He just wants to be stronger to kill Brony

Even after he killed the man, he still wants to revive Kence and did everything he can to become stronger and continue living no matter what the method is

Calter was still busy thinking of things when he felt a body enveloping him in a hug. His eyes went wide open as he can feel Kence hugging him tightly. Kence actually crouched down to give him a hug despite the blood all over his body

"Huh?" Calter muttered in shock
