Magic With You

Chapter 127 - 127: Train! Train! Train!

Number A70 just focused on blocking or dodging all of Kence's spell while the latter wants to make as much ice as he can. That is not only because A70 is going easy on Kence, but also because the youth's spell casting speed was much faster than him. However, even though Kence's spell casting is fast, against someone who has a lot of life or death experiences, he would still lose.

Kence moved around the battlefield this time but the outcome is still already known to those who have experience. After minutes that no one was having any advantage in the fight, Number A70 turned the tides and won easily just like the first round.

"[Water Magic: Water Tentacles!]" Kence thought that A70 will make water tentacles in front of the man's wand but to his surprise, the tentacles formed below him!

Just like the first one round, Number A70 managed to defeat Kence by wrapping tentacles on his body to bind him in place. Kence was shocked at this, every time that A70 will attack him, he will move away from that place, so how can that be possible?

Kence has a dejected look on his face. Everyone was praising him as he's very talented and he advances in ranks swiftly. But to think that he can't even win against a mage at his rank...

A70 removed the water tentacles and heaved another sigh of relief. He managed to win without hurting Kence again. He can't imagine what would happen to him if he even caused a single scratch.

As usual, Emily walked towards Kence to both comforts and teach him. "Do you know why you lose?" Emily asked gently and Kence shook his head in shame.

"Your opponent is a water mage while you are an ice mage. You thought that the ice you made will help you win the fight, but you forgot some things. If the ice melts, it will turn into water! Normal ice won't melt fast but ones that are made by Magic Apprentices will melt faster as the magic on them will dissipate. "

"But don't worry! With me training you, no matter how much you failed, mother will make sure that you'll become strong. I only need you to not be discouraged and continue to train no matter how many times you failed, got it? "

Some of Kence's dejection vanished as he looks at Emily with hopeful eyes. Only now, did he realize how weak he really is. But his mother is here! Emily will guide him and Kence will make sure to learn as many things as he can!

---

Just like Kence, Calter is also focusing on his training. The danger he can sense drive him to work hard to become as strong as possible. Only with power would he be able to keep Kence safe!

Contrary to Kence's situation, Calter has an easier time. He has ample experiences and the only thing limiting him from getting stronger is his own body!

No matter how talented you are, you still need time to mature. A body can't take too much of a sudden increase in power. It needs some time to get used to it and solidify the foundation.

And the best thing to do that is through combat!

Adrenaline will be secreted by one's body and their blood will be pumped very hard. Using battle to solidify the foundation will make it easier for the body to grow.

Using and fighting with your body will make your foundation solid!

Around Calter was ten of his Level 9 Magic Apprentices slaves. Although he trained with puppets before, but a human enemy is different!

Humans are more flexible as they have complete intelligence. It will be harder to defeat them. Thus, Calter really needs to be serious.

After all, the only thing he has is more mana and stronger spells. He has fast spell casting speed but even he, can't cast ten spells at a time.

Even most Grand Knights can only cast and control two spells at a time.

"[Dark Magic: Evil Stare!]"

"[Earth Magic: Stone Rain!]"

"[Water Magic: Water Snakes!]"

"[Fire Magic: Burning Birds!]"

All sorts of spell flew towards Calter, but his face didn't have even an inch of panic. Calter's eyes flashed with a dark light and used a spell on himself.

"[Dark Magic: Dark Blessing]" Even with these numerous attacks, Calter still has more experience than his opponents. Experience can't easily defeat an absolute strength but if the difference isn't that large, it would be the experience that will most likely win.

Calter dodged every attack that he can. As his enemies are only Magic Apprentices, not all of them can change the direction of their spell in mid-air.

"[Dark Magic: Dark Shield!]" As for the ones that he can't dodge, Calter will use a barrier spell to either completely block or buy some time for himself to dodge.

Although his slaves knew how powerful he is, but it was still shocking that he wasn't harmed in the slightest even against ten spells from mages at his level.

Well, this is not actually just credited to Calter's experiences, it was also because of his spells itself. Any magic spells that he made magic marks with, the power behind it will surely increase a lot

Even his level 9 spells can reach the power of a Rank 1 Spell!

After defending, it is now time for Calter to counterattack as a summoning circle appeared in front of him. "[Dark Summon Magic: Skeleton Warriors!]" Five skeletons emerged from the summoning circle.

As Calter's strongest point is his casting speed, he managed to use two spells in the time that his enemies cast one spell. The skeletons can't be ignored and some of the mages went to defeat them. The skeletons are weak, but it was enough to buy some time for Calter.

The young master dodged the spells coming to him that lessened in number and it gave him a breather. Lesser spells mean that he can mostly dodge them with the speed provided by his dark blessing that is two levels higher than normal.

"[Dark Summon Magic: Skeleton Archers!]" Calter summoned the skeleton archers a bit far from him so that his enemies' attacks will need to be shot in the opposite direction.

He just summoned the skeleton archers, but he already used another summoning spell "[Dark Summon Magic: Skeleton Rangers!]"

Although the summoned creatures are weak, but their numbers are increasing, and they are not something that the mages can ignore.

This is why mage summoners are regarded highly. As long as his / her teammates buy some time for them, they will be able to summon quite a few monsters that will help the whole team.

However, with Calter being a former Grand Knight and being a Core Mage, he can buy time for himself through his own effort!

Calter took advantage of him having the ability to cast spells at a fast speed to increase the number of his summons. This is something that normally wouldn't happen, and this was only possible because of Calter's mana!

This is his cheat! A cheat that he will surely exploit!

Just like this, Calter managed to overwhelm his opponents by using the skeleton summoned. Even with ten enemies, he managed to cast spells towards them not just to defend and dodge but in an offensive way!

Soon, with the help of all of his advantages, Calter managed to win the fight. But even then, Calter still didn't stop and ordered another ten Magic Apprentices to be his 'punching bags.'

Although it was dangerous, but Calter has his Magic Knights at standby in case an accident will happen to him. Calter is unafraid of death but for Kence, he won't let himself die and he needs to be cautious about everything that he does!

Train! Train! Train!

That is the only thing on Calter's mind as sweat rolled down all over his body. His soul got fatigued but even after that, he still didn't stop.

His soul can't cast spells anymore, then he'll use his body! He needs to become stronger and stronger! That is the only thing that matters!

----

October 25 Year 9001

Just like that, almost four months have passed. Kence already become a Magic Warrior weeks ago and he focused on solidifying his foundation.

Breaking through in a new rank is different than advancing from one level to another in the same rank causing Kence's strength to have explosive growth.

Actually, Kence can become a Magic Warrior without affecting his foundation earlier but he focuses more on practical combat skills. As his comprehension level was enough for him to become a magic warrior, in these months, he was mostly being trained by Emily.

He got injured several times and every time that will happen, Calter will immediately enter an angry and rage state. The man was ready to punish whoever hurt his lover.

However, every time that will happen, Kence with Emily's instructions knows what to do.

Kence simply needs to act intimate with Calter and the young master's anger will be immediately appeased. Kence simply has Calter on his palm.

The young master is like a man that is ready to do everything to please the most beautiful woman in the world. It only takes a kiss from Kence to make Calter calm.

But of course, Calter will want to do more and he took advantage of the situation to touch Kence all over his body. Only the upper area was available and the additional of Kence's clothed buns are the things that Calter can touch but even that was enough to make him crazy from lust.

Too bad that Kence is still not ready to do something beyond that and the sex-deprived Calter can only wait.

As for Calter, he's still at the peak of Magic Apprentice Rank. It doesn't mean he has lower talent than Kence but when he reaches the peak and infinitely close to Magic Warrior Rank, a stream of information was unlocked from his core.

To advance into every rank is very dangerous! Every time that that will happen, the heavens will be angered and Calter needs to prepare himself for 'enduring that anger.'

Thus, Calter spends weeks of his time preparing as his Core is urging him for that. He spent tens of thousands of Magic Crystals to increase his body's durability.

Of course, using too many medicines will make the body impure and will make cultivation harder but Calter is confident. Crossing over a new rank is a challenge that would cause death if he failed but it is also an opportunity!

Calter is currently on his Demon's Den but he is far from his Magic Tower and every other building.

Number D1 to D4 which is Blaze was there with him. They are standing a bit far from him as per Calter's instructions.

Although becoming a Magic Warrior have some risk, but because it was his first time having the tribulation, the heavens will be lenient towards him.

The risk is very low and Calter is confident in himself. After all, would his own core lie on him? In fact, it seems like his core greatly wants to help him.

Calter took a deep breath and relaxed his now impure body because of all of the medicines he took. The young master closes his eyes and cultivates a bit.

When his aura rose and was about to become a Magic Warrior, the skies instantly turned black as if the heavens itself raged.

A suffocating aura spread on the whole area around Calter and even the four Grand Knights with him were forced to kneel on the ground. Caizher wasn't in a panic though as he didn't expect these Grand Knights to protect him from the heavens.

These four are merely here to defend from outside factors like an assassination attempt. Calter also wants to hide what will happen here.

There are four Grand Knights here and all the Rank 3 Mages in this city are controlled by Calter. It would be a joke if a Magic Knight managed to spy on them.

Only if a powerful Grand Knight with a strong concealing ability come, would there be a chance for enemies to spy on them. But Caizher still didn't attract too much attention to himself for something like that to happen.

Even with the heavens raging, Calter still has a calm face. His core states that only a person that has unparalleled confidence in themselves can continue training on this path and he cannot be indecisive.

Calter has confidence in himself because, for him, his love for Kence and the desire to protect him is strong enough that he will become a strong figure in the whole world!
