Magic With You

The bodies of the four were still moving on their own because of the Head Master and they entered the Tower. Along the way, the four saw several high-end magic technologies

Some are familiar with them while some are not. The insides of the towers were greatly secured as there are magic dummies guarding every corner of the tower. There are also some eye-like things that were floating around that is recording everything they are seeing

Magic screens were also floating almost everywhere and they have different functions with most of them being a map as the tower is really gigantic

Every person that met the Head Master bowed respectfully at her. The sight of her dragging four people away didn't even faze any of the people they met along the way as if something like this is a common thing for the Head Master to do

After some time, the five stopped at a large door and the Head Master touched a screen on the door's side before it opened and the five entered it

The inside of that door was made from glass and it can fit more than fifteen people inside without any problem

"Lalala lalala ~" The Head Master hummed as if everything was normal that causes the faces of the four to twitch a bit

The four felt that their surroundings were moving at a rapid rate but they still can't move. Only their eyes that were staring at each other can move

After around a minute, the elevator finally stopped moving and the door opened

What the four saw was a large empty space, only a portal in the middle can be seen along with the dummies in the four corner of the place

They didn't felt any kind of magic fluctuations from the dummies but to be a guard in the part of the tower this high, how can they be simple?

"Are you ready for a big surprise? I didn't lie when I said that I can help you four become Magic Knights in a month without harming your foundations. Let's enter this special dungeon!"

After speaking, the Head Master threw the four inside the portal and they were momentarily blinded

When they opened their eyes again, what met them was a strange pool. Some areas of the pool are fired red in color, while the others are icy blue

"Welcome to one of the treasures this great me has!" The girl said loudly causing a lot of eyes to turn at her and the people greeted her with a bow

When Calter raised his head, he saw people floating above the pool. Each area that has different colors have one people floating above them

"This dungeon is a real treasure. Look at those pools, they represent different elements. Just soaking in them will help increase the amount of mana that mages have in their bodies without any consequences. Unfortunately, things are not that easy"

"You have two paths that you can take to use this pool. One is to directly soak in it and bear the pain. The other is that we will give you a special kind of lotion that will ensure you won't feel any pain but the mana on the pool will only be absorbed inside your body if you managed to make the mana take a liking on you "

"Choose wisely!"

The mention of pain immediately caused Kence to grimace. He knew to himself that his pain tolerance is quite weak. Kence felt that he was already loved by mana but he still can't be sure at that

"If you use the lotion and mana still didn't automatically rush inside your body, then sorry, you won't have any other price hehehe!"

Her words almost caused Calter to frown. This damn Academy really has a lot of things that they didn't say to the students like what happened in the entrance exam

Calter is sure that Kence's pain tolerance is quite low and his heart was worried for him. Calter can only hope that Kence is someone that is loved by mana

"Head Master" a handsome guy with silver-white hair greeted the Head Master that immediately appeared in front of the man

"Waahh! Xian, you're as handsome as always!" The girl said while pinching the man's cheeks. Xian can only smile awkwardly at her. "T-thank you"

"Anyways, why did you exit the pool? You still have a lot of time left for this month"

Xian looked towards Kence that looked at him in surprise before the two smiled at each other. "I plan to greet someone I know, Head Master" Xian answered while still staring at Kence before he frowned at a rude youth that blocked Kence from Xian's vision using his body

Calter doesn't like the way Xian is looking at Kence and why is Kence even smiling at that guy when he is always grumpy when it comes to Calter?

"Oh? Who is it? Who is it?" The Head Master asked. "It's Russel, my uncle's adoptive son" Xian answered respectfully but his face turned a bit sour as the one that Kence called a pervert is here too

"Oh, it's the cute guy. Then, I'll leave them in your care. Explain the general things in this dungeon to them, bye!"

The Head Master pushed the technical things to the Prince before vanishing from everyone's eyes

Kier looked at Xian with interest. That man was quite famous and is known both in the Three Great Kingdoms and the Escardon City

Xian is a direct disciple of a Noble Mage that was as powerful as the Three Kings. His position was quite high because of that

The Kings need to govern a whole Kingdom and they are often willing to sacrifice their own son for the sake of their territory. However, being a disciple of a mage is different. That mage will focus on nourishing their disciple/s

That is the reason why Xian might not be a Crowned Prince but his position is at or above even Cox's position

It was a Noble Mage backing him! A mage that can kill several peak Grand Knights with a single move. A mage far stronger than any guards that Nobles and Royals have

In a single Kingdom, there is only a handful of them. Even in the Escardon City, Rank 4 mages are still rare and they are not people that a nobody can easily meet

Too bad for Kier that Halli thought he was attracted to Xian. The though of Kier liking someone other than him irritated Halli a lot and he did the same thing that Calter does, shielding Kier using his own body

Xian was weirded out by the two but since he was given a task by the Head Master, he needs to accomplish it and Xian starts explaining some things to the four like how every 12 in the morning, it would be better if they stop soaking in the pool

This huge pool with different kinds of mana is still located inside a dungeon and dungeons have dungeon monsters

The monsters were regularly 'cleaned' by the Rank 4 mages floating above the mana pool. However, there was still a slight chance that a monster will suddenly appear and successfully attack a student

That would be fatal if the student is at a critical stage of his or her cultivation. But of course, incidents like that are quite rare as Rank 4 Mages are completely different than Rank 3 and below mages

"Thank you, Brother Xian!" Kence that stood into Calter's side to see the Prince said in gratitude

"Don't sweat it, come, I'll help you get used to the mana pool" Xian offered and Kence nodded his head before walking towards him

Calter was left there without knowing what to do. He wants to prevent Kence from going with Xian but he doesn't want to make another 'weird thing'

It was already weird that he prevented Xian from looking at Kence. It also didn't help that Halli and Kier ignored him to walk towards the pool that contained lightning attributed mana

Calter sensed them giving him one last deadly look but he ignored it. As much as he wants to kill the two, he cannot do that. Calter's focus was on Kence and Xian that were smiling at each other

Without a choice, Calter walk towards the part of the pool that has darkness attributed mana but he still didn't take away his gaze from Kence and Xian

It was at this time that Calter regretted being a dark type mage. If he is a snow or ice type, won't he be with Kence too?

Calter desperately pushed down the annoying thoughts aside and submerge his body in the mana pool. Waves and waves of pain immediately assaulted his body and Calter gritted his teeth

Although he has a lot of pain tolerance it still wouldn't be easy to withstand pain like this for a whole month. However, to become a Magic Knight in a short time, Calter needs to bear this pain

Calter can feel the mana entering his body and just like what the Head Master said, it didn't have any negative implications for his body
