"Krad ..." Noom called out and the man stops cultivating to look into his 'lover'

"What is it?" Krad asked as he cupped Noom's face with his hands. Just looking at Noom was enough to give his heart a great sense of joy

"What really happened back when the Head Master took you away?" Noom asked in curiosity but Krad let out a helpless sigh at that

"I told you, she only said that she will help me reach the peak of Grand Knight. I received a lot of resources from Head Master and I'll soon reach the peak" Krad answered

Just like what the Head Master said, Krad really forgot the secrets he had learned. He even forgot the memories he had in Enchanted Star Realm for the second time

Krad only remembered that the Head Master gave him the opportunity to reach the peak of Grand Knight so that he'll have more power to protect Noom

"I-Is that really it? S-she doesn't ask you to help me overcome my fears? I don't know why but I feel like the Head Master really wants me to wield the power of fire again" Noom said while lowering his head

The past weeks were simply not good for him. He was always wondering why he is even this much afraid of fire. He was caught in between wanting to become stronger to protect his master and also just letting things be as he doesn't believe that anyone will hurt him and his master

Krad let out another sigh at that before pulling Noom's body into his embrace. "I won't force you to do anything that you don't like, alright?" Krad said in a gentle manner but that just causes Noom to remember several memories

"Oh yeah? Tell that to my body that was always ravaged by you" Noom replied while rolling his eyes causing Krad to chuckle

"That's a different thing, you said no but I know that deep inside you, you really liked what I did in those times" Krad shamelessly said and he felt Noom playfully punching his back

Noom can't help but blush a bit from Krad's words. He won't admit it but he knew to himself that Krad's words are true. He really likes it

"T-tsk!" Noom said with an annoyed tone before pushing Krad's body away from him. "Come on, I want to continue hugging you" Krad said like a child but Noom shook his head and his expression turned serious again

"Do you really not want me to conquer my fears?" Noom asked with a serious voice and Krad starts holding his hand

"It's not like I don't want to, I really want you to conquer your fears but I will not force you to do it if you are still not ready. I believe that there would be a time where you can use magic again"

Noom stared at his hands. When he saw Krad cultivating again, he can't help but want to start cultivating too. However, he was still afraid ... and his fear .... he doesn't even know where it was coming from

Is Noom really content with a life of simply eating and sleeping? Whether it be Krad or his master, both of them are trying to achieve something. As for Noom .... he is fearing his own powers! His own!

Everyone who will hear it would surely laugh in contempt. Who aside from him would be this laughable?

As a result, Noom holds Krad's hand too and he starts pulling him out of their room

Krad just stayed silent and let Noom do what he wants as he can feel that the man decided on something and his will power was burning wildly

Soon, the two reached a training area in the towers that contained several target dummies

"Noom ..." Krad called out but the man just continued staring at the target dummies while he closes his eyes

Noom doesn't want the only one not trying to achieve something. When Noom opened his eyes, it glowed with blazing red light and his aura also exploded

Krad moved away from Noom and the man's momentum shocked, even him. This was like the most serious version of Noom he had ever seen

The room's temperature starts to rise because of the heat being emitted by Noom's body before a fire starts covering his hands

Noom punches the air and the fire in his hands flew out that hits the target dummies around. The man didn't stop after that and he starts jumping on his place

Noom's body looks as if it was as light as a feather and he starts turning his body around

Krad watch with wide-opened eyes as Noom's moves starts to have a majestic feel in it as if he was watching an extremely high-leveled being dancing around

Soon, Noom kicked his feet in the air and a line of fire came out from it that burned yet another target dummy

Noom starts punching and kicking around and whenever he does that, a fire would surely come out from his body

His moves were turning more and more majestic the more time that passed and even the power behind his fire was increasing

Krad was already sweating because of the temperature and his blood boiled while watching Noom

As soon as Noom fully used up the target dummies, he stops and his eyes that were changing colors scanned his surroundings

However, Noom's eyes and body trembled when he does that. The crimson fire spreading around causes his heart to beast fast as if it will burst any moment from now

Noom stiffened in his place while a scene starts playing in his mind and the scene was practically a hell for him

Noom can see himself in the endless void of space that is currently very chaotic. He knew that it was him but he can't quite see the outline of his body as everything was too blurry

The only thing that Noom can clearly see was the wave of fire that spread around because of him and it burned a lot of things, including the ones he cared for

They start burning because of him...

"I am .... selfish" Noom unconsciously muttered before he heard Krad's voice. "Noom! Noom! What happened?" The man asked and the scenes inside Noom's head ended

Noom's terrified eyes stared at Krad and he took a step backward

"N-no! D-don't come close to me! Y-you'll just b-burn!" Noom said in an almost hysterical tone but that just causes Krad to become more worried about him

"Noom, everything's fine, if the fire is really scary to you, you don't need to conquer your fears anymore! I'll be here to help you!" Krad said with a gentle smile but Noom's fear is not that easy to conquer

"N-no! P-please ... m-move away from m-me!" Unfortunately for Noom, Krad didn't listen to him and the man starts walking closer towards him

The closer the two gets, the more Noom's heart was beating wildly and when Krad gets dangerously closed to him, his hand moved out of reflex and shot a ball of fire towards the man

Noom's eyes widened as he saw the pained expression on Krad's face while the man was thrown away because of the impact. An arrow of blood even came out of Krad's mouth and Noom felt as if time itself stops

"K-Krad n-no!" Noom shouted in despair and he was about to help Krad but he then saw his palms were still of fire

"S-stupid fire!" Noom cursed and he tried removing his own fire but he was unsuccessful. In fact, the fire in his palms just grew stronger and it even spread out from his feet

"W-whats this .." Noom asked to no one in fear and he took a step backward but it just generated more fire. Noom can feel that some sort of power was leaking from his heart and he doesn't like it

Noom was once again consumed by his fears and his butt fell on the ground while more fire spread around and tears start falling from his eyes

"N-no please ... s-stop" Noom turned his eyes back to Krad and he saw that the fire is already close to the man

No matter how much Noom wants the fire to vanish, he just can't do anything. In fact, the more he became desperate, the stronger the fire becomes

Just as the fire was about to touch Krad, help finally arrives

A little girl appeared out of nowhere and the fire coming from Noom's body gathered into her palms before they vanished

After that, the Head Master reappeared in front of Noom and he touches the man's chest, particularly to where his heart is located

The Head Master's palms glowed with a reddish fire and the fire that was about to spread from Noom's body again retracted and settled back to where it came from

"You are still not ready for this" After that, Noom felt that some sort of seal was placed in his heart before he loses consciousness
