"Don't worry about me, I'm strong too" Kence said to reassure Calter and not make the man worried but he still cannot look at him directly

Calter simply ignored that as he was afraid that Kence would be too freak out if he pushes things too far. He was already satisfied (a bit since Calter still wants more) that he manages to kiss the lips he desperately wants to kiss for the past months

"Yeah, yeah" Calter answered while shaking his head and Kence felt insulted at that. "W-what do you mean by that! D-don't underestimate me!" Kence said in dissatisfaction and only then did he look at Calter again

Calter was about to answer and save himself again but then his eyes locked on Kence's lips once more. Kence's lips were still a bit plumper than usual because of the kiss and Calter wants to attack them again

Kence sensed the kind of looks Calter is giving him and embarrassment filled every crook and cranny of his body. Just why did Kence kiss Calter earlier?

In embarrassment, Kence raised his hand and put his palms in front of Calter's eyes. "D-don't look at m-me like that! I-I'll get a-angry!" Kence said while his whole face was extremely red in color

Calter planned on stopping himself from teasing Kence but he found out that he can't. Kence is acting too cute and it crumbled all of Calter's self-control

To Kence's shock, Calter holds his wrist and lowered his hand a bit before giving a kiss on the back of his palm

"W-what are y-you d-doing ..!" Kence said in a panic and he saw Calter smirking at him. "Kissing the only man I want to kiss" Calter answered in a 'gentleman' way that he instantly regretted. His line was too cheesy! It wouldn't be a surprise if Kence got turned off

However .... it seems like Calter has such a huge effect on Kence. Despite Calter's line being too cheesy, it still causes Kence's eyes to tremble and he was completely speechless for a few seconds

"Y-you ... y-you're b-bullying me again! S-stop taking a-advantage of me!" Kence accused and he tried to take his hand back but Calter won't let go of it that easily

"First, I'm not bullying you, I'm just telling the truth. Second, I still haven't forgotten that you kissed me earlier so from now on, I will always kiss you in return" Calter declared as if it was the most logical thing in the world

"Y-you ... t-that's not how things worked!" Kence swear that if Calter didn't save his life, he would have already kicked the man already! Until when will Kence endure a Calter like this? His 'patience' is already running low

"Nah, that's how things work here. You kiss me once, I'll kiss you for the rest of your life" Calter said with a 'sweet' smile and Kence's expression was full of protest

Unfortunately, Kence wasn't able to answer as Calter already let go of his hand since an uninvited guest appeared

Calter and Kence were only at the foot of the mountain but an enemy already discovered them and it was a three meters tall brown bear

A sword immediately appeared in Calter's hand and a black armor covered it. "[Dark Magic: Demon's Armor]"

This time, Calter only made armor for his sword and it didn't cause as much mana unlike when he fought with Halli and Calter

At that time, with how destructive the lightning from the two are, Calter was forced to cover the entirety of his body with the armor, and it took a lot of his mana along with the constant repair

However, although the bear is a Rank 3 creature, it still wasn't as powerful as the Kier or Halli. Calter also wants to save his mana or more like soul power in case of emergency and only uses his magic to his sword

Calter charges at the brown bear causing the ground below him to crack and in a short time, he already clashed with his enemy

Hard rocks can be seen on the bear's paw and it fearlessly smacked its paw to the human that has a smaller body size than it

The ground below Calter cracked too but he was completely fine. The quality of his physique is high and aside from some numbing sensation, he wasn't affected at all

"[Snow Magic: Exploding Snows!]" Kence uses his magic too and small pieces of snows were fired at the bear

In return, the bear opened its mouth and issued a loud roar. Rocks came out from the bear's mouth and it met the snow along the way

The snow exploded as soon as it made physical contact with the bear's rocks and Calter made another move

The bear's rock attack causes it to divert its attention and the force in its paw turned weaker. Calter moved to the side before jumping high to pierce the bear's head with his sword

The bear isn't exactly weak though and it immediately uses its other paw to smack Calter. Thus, Calter doesn't have a choice but to halt his attack and put his sword on the side to defend

Calter uses the force from the bear's paw to move his body away and he landed a few meters away from the enemy while his eyes locked on other bears that arrived

This is only the foot of the mountain but he and Kence already met this many enemies. What more if they continued exploring it to find the dungeon?

The bears slammed their feet in the ground and it destroyed the ground. The pieces of land then floated and the two were suddenly bombarded by a barrage of rock attacks

Calter used his body to his advantage and he went closer to Kence to help him defend. However, it turns out that it wasn't necessary

"[Dark Summon Magic: Ghoul!]" A summoning circle formed in Calter's side and from it, three ghouls appeared

The ghouls almost looked exactly like humans except for their long nails, sharp teeth, and completely black eyeballs

The ghouls immediately charge at the other bears and use their fast speed to their advantage to distract some of them. There are currently six bears present and they all need to be killed

After his summoning magic, Calter charges at the bear from earlier that threw a big boulder towards him

Calter dodges the boulder but the bear just continued and made another one to throw at him again. Calter dodge and dodged until he gets close enough to the bear

Calter slammed his sword in the ground and used his magic. "[Dark Magic: Ghost Hands!]"

Ghost like hands immediately appeared from below that bear. Every part of the bear that was touched by those hands was immediately corroded and the bear roared in pain

The bear thrashes around and used its strong legs to kick and destroy the hands. That enabled Calter to reach the bear and with a sword slash, he severed the head of the brown bear

The other bears seemed to be angered by his action and their attacks on the ghouls turned frenzied. One of the ghouls used blood threads to attack but the bear just grew rocks in its body and the threads can't destroy them in a short time

After that, the bear pulled the blood thread that caught the ghoul off guard and the bear holds its neck. The bear then threw the ghoul towards Calter that just killed one of the bears before an ice arrow flew in the air

The arrow hits the ghoul's body and it altered its direction. Calter gave Kence a glance and thought that a Kence serious in a fight is extremely hot!

Calter knew that this wasn't a time for that and he slammed his sword in the ground for the second time

"[Dark Magic: Shadow Bind!]" The shadows below the bear moved in Calter's wills and it wrapped on their bodies. The bears naturally resisted but the sharp claws of the two ghouls ripped their throats causing them to die

As for Calter, he poured strength to his feet and he shot his body towards the bears

Too bad that before Calter reached the enemies, the bears already removed themselves from the influence of the shadow bind and they are ready to defend themselves from Calter

However, at that time, more ice arrows flew in the air and it manages to penetrate the thick hides of the bear

Kence might not have fully killed the bears but the arrows in their bodies continued spreading cold energies and the bear shivered from the cold
