"This is more than enough" Noom thought in his mind before taking two of the sandwiches and he gave one to Krad while he starts eating the other one

Seeing Noom eating without Krad needing to push him, made the latter happy, and the two starts eating

Noom took a bite of his sandwich before raising his head to look at the moon. Noom doesn't know why but looking at the moon made him feel some envy. It was like being a moon is something he yearned for

Unfortunately, Noom has powers exactly the opposite of the moon. The moon is cold and calm yet his power is fire that is one of the most aggressive power one could have

"The moon is really beautiful ..." Noom commented while his eyes never stop looking at the large celestial body above

"Yeah, it is beautiful" Krad answered yet his eyes were focused on Noom and Noom chuckled at that

"Stop acting so cheesy, I can see you from my peripheral vision" Noom said while still not taking his eyes off the moon

"Well, you and I just have a different moon. For me, you are my moon" Krad said and his lines cause Noom to feel some embarrassment

Noom tried to play it cool though and he acts like he isn't affected by Krad's words but a red tinge still spread to his cheek that didn't escape Krad's vision

"S-should I scream in happiness now?" Noom asked snappily and Krad nodded his head. "Go on, I want to hear you happily screaming"

Noom didn't reply at that and just pursed his lips before taking another bite from his sandwich. It was really hard to win with Krad in a verbal exchange! Noom felt like he would explode from anger, not considering the fact that it was him that is always starting the 'fight'

The two just continued eating before Krad decided to tease Noom again to make another 'topic'

"My Moon is more beautiful than the one in the skies, I wonder why is that the case?" Krad muttered to 'himself' and Noom's brows twitched

"Stop calling me your moon, a fire mage like me isn't fit to be one" Noom said with annoyance while rolling his eyes

"So what? Who said that a fire mage can't be compared to a moon? It's not like a moon should always be cold" Krad answered while shaking his head

"If the moon is hot then that is not a moon, that's a sun! A celestial body that can literally kill you if you got too close. It was so hot it can burn you to death" Noom said and he doesn't know why Krad's words made him a bit triggered

"Not all hot things will burn you. The sun literally provides us with sunlight that the plant needs and it was also needed before a special treasure can be born! The sun just needs to find someone that will grow despite it emitting hot temperatures. Besides, who said that the only thing a fire can do is to burn things? That's bullshit. If there is no hot moon in the universe then just make or be one! " Krad replied before taking another sandwich and he was totally oblivious to the storm inside Noom's heart

Krad might have just said those words nonchalantly but it affected Noom a lot. Noom doesn't like his power at all since he starts thinking that it will just bring harm to him and the others but Krad ...

Noom took a deep breath and stops thinking as he doesn't want the mood to be ruined

Noom's heart felt some joy because of Krad's words and he decided to make a 'sweet move' that he normally doesn't do. Noom moves closer to Krad and he rested his head on the man's shoulder

That action of his naturally surprise Krad but it also made him happy. As to not ruin the atmosphere, Krad decided to keep quiet in fear that Noom will get embarrassed causing him to stop being this sweet

Thus, the two finishes their food with the moon shining its light towards their bodies

When the two finished their food, Krad saw that there were some crumbs on Noom's cheeks and he had a mischievous plan

Krad lowered his head and licked the side of Noom's lips that made the man flustered

"You have some bread crumbs, I just cleaned you up a bit" Krad said before Noom can say anything

Noom rolled his head at that. Is that even a proper way to clean someone? Krad doesn't need to do that if it was really just cleaning!

Krad just grinned at Noom before lowering his head again to give the side of Noom's lips another lick

"There are still some bread crumbs that were left" Krad said to 'defend' himself after seeing Noom glaring at him

Krad's indecent plan still doesn't end there though as he lowered his head to lick Noom for the third time

"Bastard, if you want to do it here just say it! No need for this childish game!" Noom said in annoyance and Krad just laugh at that

It has already been a few days since Calter and Kence entered the mountain and they met all sorts of dangers. The two didn't just need to be careful with magic beasts, they also need to raise their guards on the plants and even the terrain itself!

If not for them being 'special' just two Grand Knights might be far from enough to let them stay alive for a few days

The two were currently grilling some sort of meat in a fire. Although they have nutrient pills with them but eating is still something that they are used to

Since there are a lot of magic beasts that attack them, might as well use them to stuff their stomachs

"You should sleep, you almost haven't slept in the past days" Kence said to Calter but the young master shook his head. "Don't worry about me, I can stay awake for along period of time" Calter replied

Calter's body is as strong as a Magic Swordsman, pulling an all-nighter for a few days is not that much of a problem for him. However, Kence is still worried for him as the youth felt that it was unfair

Kence had a lot more sleep than Calter does. Calter was too stubborn and insisted on not sleeping to keep both of them safe

After all, Calter can't let anything bad happen to Kence as his heart won't accept that. Instead of endangering Kence's safety, Caler chose to sacrifice a few days worth of sleep

"Listen to me okay? You need to sleep" Kence insisted but Calter just handed him a cooked piece of meat. Fortunately, Calter has a lot of survival things in his ring and it contained some spices too and the meat they cooked doesn't taste bland

"Here, eat first to recover your energy" Calter said and Kence pouted his lips in annoyance. When will Calter listen to him?

Kence already tried convincing Calter to sleep multiple times but he was always met with failure. Calter just won't listen to him!

Without a choice, Kence just starts eating his food while sulking a bit. Kence only had a few bites when Calter's ear starts to twitch

"Enemies are coming" Calter said and he immediately pulled Kence on the wrist and the two starts heading deeper in the cave they were in

They didn't know how many or how strong the enemies are but it wouldn't do them good if they engage in another fight

Fighting would just attract more attention from the other magic beasts and it was best to avoid combat as much as possible

Kence's heart ache for the meat that was wasted but he still knew that running away is more important and he turned all of his focus on it

Soon, the two met with several forks in the road and Calter just went straight ahead. However, it seems like the magic beasts also chose that path and Calter's sharp ears can still hear them

Without a choice, the two starts running faster and when they met another fork in the road, Calter chose another direction in hopes that the beast won't be able to find them

However, the two were too focused on their running and they weren't able to stop when they were suddenly met by some sort of a portal and they entered it

The next thing they knew was that they entered a dead end. They are still inside what looks like a cave but it was completely sealed

The cave room was around twenty cubic meters big but beyond that was pure cave walls and they don't have anywhere to run to

"W-what happened?" Kence asked in shock while looking at the stones in the ground with different shapes and colors

Calter also want to know what happened and he thought of the portal that they saw just seconds ago

"Could this be the dungeon the Head Master wants us to clear?" Calter asked and Kence's eyes widen in realization
