Magic With You

As of now, only three humans remained but all of Calter's summoned creatures are already dead. The two were still outnumbered and the three Swordsmen even charges towards him at the same time

Calter gritted his teeth at that, he can dodge them but he cannot. If he moved around the battlefield too much, the enemies might try to attack Kence and he doesn't like that

Without a choice, Calter readied his sword and he uses it to block the first enemy that arrived at his position. Just like what happened before, the clash between the swords of the two cracked the ground around them and Calter's arm felt numb again

However, at that time, the other two swordsmen already reach his position and they attacked him from left and right

Seeing that, Kence made his move too and two ice walls appeared on Calter's side. It was certainly not enough to fully block the humans' sword strike but it was enough to buy Calter some time

The humans' sword received a drastic drop in speed when they met the ice wall and ice even starts to form in the sword's blade before they manage to destroy it

However, Calter already moved backward and the swords of the two clashed with each other creating a strong shockwave

"[Dark Magic: Dark Swamp!]" Calter penetrated the ground with his sword and the area in front of him immediately turned muddy

The swordsmen are all heavy especially since they were holding their swords and the swamp starts swallowing their bodies. If there is only one of them, then Calter can easily kill them. Too bad that there are still three of them while Calter still needs to preserve his mana

The swords of the three glowed with a blinding red light before a fierce fire burned in them. The three stabbed the swamp with their swords and the fire from it instantly turned the mud into solid and their bodies stops sinking on the ground

When the ground solidified, the swordsmen use their body's advantage and they broke the solid mud in their legs easily, causing small bits of it to fly in the air

After that, the three jumped high in the air with their swords still burning with fire and all of them attacks Calter

Calter gritted his teeth and black energies once again covered his body and he dodges the sword strikes of the three. The swords slammed on the ground cracking it but the swordsmen's attacks don't end there

To Calter's shock, the crack in the ground continued in his direction while the fire burned in them

Fortunately, Kence was there to assist him. Kence slammed his palms on the ground and ice starts to spread. Kence slowed down the speed at which the ground cracked that is also causing Calter to lose his balance

Calter immediately uses this to his advantage. As long as he killed another swordsman, things would be a lot easier. It wouldn't be a problem for him to kill them anymore

Calter's eyes glowed with a dark light as he threw his sword in the air. Just like what he thought, the humans focused on it

Puppets would think that the sword is dangerous for them while humans that have their consciousness will unconsciously focus on the sword too. This is a tactic that Calter already knows and uses before

In a fight between Grand Knights, even a split second was already enough to determine who the winner would be

Calter immediately charges at the closest enemy from him while he puts his fingers next to each other and had his mana flow towards it

"[Dark Magic: Snake Chap!]" Calter reaches one of his enemies and an image of a snake appeared in his hand before he uses it to chap the neck of the swordsman

Another head flew in the air and more blood dyed Calter's body after he killed his third swordsman

"[Ice Magic: Bird's Claw!]" Kence's hands glowed with an icy blue light and he raises it in the direction of another swordsman

It was not only Calter that make good use of the split second that he bought, Kence also didn't waste any time to kill another enemy!

A giant bird claw made from ice appeared on top of the swordsman before it descended down at a fast speed. Magic Swordsmen's bodies are certainly strong but just how thick and durable a piece of giant ice is?

Not to mention, Kence's ice is harder and colder than usual. It was harder than even stone and with its size, the impact it would have would certainly not pale in comparison to a boulder hitting one's body at a fast speed

Kence's attack landed on his enemy and the swordsman was smashed to the ground. The bird's claw was larger than a human body and it cracked the human's bones. Cold energies even starts seeping into his body and some of them went to his brain

Brains are one of the most fragile things that a human has and even a small damage on it can already cause death. The cold energies that entered the human's head damages its brain and turned him into a dead person

The two focus on the last enemy and Calter made a downward motion with his hand. His sword that still hasn't hit the ground charges at the last swordsman while Kence continued controlling his magic

Large cracks already appeared from the giant bird's claw but it still has some strength left

The combination of ice and sword attack finally killed the last swordsman and only then did the two heaved sigh of relief

The walls that have the image of a sword starts to tremble and it soon retracted and a path was revealed to the eyes of the two

Some numbers already appeared on where the wall was previously in and it starts a 10 minutes countdown. That is the time that the two have before they need to move into the next round

It was certainly not enough for them to recover all the mana they used earlier and that is the reason why Calter didn't use any of his stronger magic. They need to preserve as much mana as possible

"Are you alright?" Calter immediately asked after walking towards Kence and it made the latter quite helpless

Calter is always worrying about Kence and constantly asked about his condition. It's not like Kence doesn't like it, in fact, he loves seeing Calter's concern. However, Kence doesn't like that he was being treated like a baby. He is already a full-grown man okay? Caler doesn't need to treat him like a child!

Still, Calter is only concerned towards him and Kence can only nod his head

"That's good, drink this first" Calter said and handed a bottle of water to Kence. The youth naturally thanked him before drinking the bottle's content

Kence planned on drinking all of the bottle's content but Calter stops him when the bottle was already half empty

"I-I'm sorry, i-is this your last water bottle?" Kence asked guiltily, he thought that he became too greedy wanting to drink all of it

Calter shook his head though before giving him another water bottle and it confused him a lot

Calter just smiled at him before drinking on the bottle that Kence drank before and it deepened his confusion. "If you want to drink water why did you not drink from a new bottle?" Kence asked while being weirded out by Calter before drinking from the new water bottle in his hand

Just like before, Kence was stopped by Calter when the bottle is only half empty and the young master drank from it again

"You're acting weird" Kence said with a contorted expression on his face while watching Calter drinking. Earlier, Kence drank his water and he doesn't notice how Calter drank from the bottle but now...

Kence realizes why Calter was acting weirdly earlier and his whole being turned red from anger. "C-Calter! Y-you pervert!" Kence shouted while stomping his feet on the ground

How can Kence not realize this earlier? Is he that stupid? This hateful Calter is really a huge pervert!

Calter finished drinking first before licking the hole in the bottle as he grinned at Kence. "What are you saying? I just want to drink water" Calter acted innocently but the next second, he was already 'crying' in pain as Kence pinches his side

"W-we are in danger yet you still have time to be a pervert! Y-you .. you're impossible!" Kence said angrily and Calter starts laughing at him

"Hahaha! You're really naive, I almost laugh loudly when you didn't realize what I did" Calter said earning him another pinch from Kence

"D-don't call me naive! You're just being a pervert!" Kence said and Calter chuckled at him. "Fine, I won't call you naive if you stop calling me 'you' or 'Calter'. I want you to call me Big Brother"

Kence rolled his eyes at that. "Why are you so obsessed with me calling you Big Brother?"

"Well, you started it and I liked it" Calter simply answered and Kence cutely rolled his eyes for the second time
