"Be good and stop being a pervert first before I call you that" Kence said and Calter starts acting like he was hurt by Kence's words

"When did I become like that?" Calter asked while feigning his innocence and Kence just looks at him with an "are you serious" expression on his face

That causes Calter to laugh a bit and he raised his hands to pinch Kence in the cheeks. "Stop looking at me like that" Calter said and Kence rolled his eyes before removing Calter's hand from his cheeks

"You're being too touchy! Hmph, I know that you are just trying to take advantage of me!" Kence accused but Calter just pinches his face for the second time

"What's wrong with touching my future boyfriend's face a bit? Look at how soft your cheeks are, even the softest cotton will pale in comparison to it" Calter shamelessly complimented Kence causing the latter to immediately become embarrassed

"H-hmph! You and your sweet mouth!" Kence said in 'annoyance' to mask his shyness but Calter really became a playful man whenever he is with him

"Yes, my mouth is sweet, do you want to taste it?"

Kence's eyes almost popped at that and he kicks Calter's foot a bit. "S-stop!"

Calter 'hissed' from the pain and that lessened a bit of Kence's anger. Kence was too simple and easy to manipulate. Kence was starting to get angry but when Calter acted like he was hurt, most of Kence's anger immediately vanishes into thin air

Calter took advantage of that fact and continued his teasing session. "How rude, I just want you to taste how sweet my lips are, why do you need to be so violent?" Calter said with a sigh and Kence's anger level meter that just dropped suddenly increases again

"Calter, you are annoying!" Kence said while breathing heavily but the man actually had the audacity to grin at him

"Call me Big Brother" the young master insisted but since he was being like this, how can Kence do what he wants?

"Calter" Kence said with a proud expression on his face and the other man pursed his lips

"Big Brother" Calter insisted again but it is now Kence's time to grin

The two started a round of dog fight before Calter decided to 'win' it

"Call me Calter again and I would think that you are moaning my name"

The triumphant smile that Kence has earlier as he finally manages to annoy Calter vanishes and he glared at the man

Calter chuckled at that, in terms of a verbal battle how can Kence win over him? However, he still hasn't celebrated his 'victory' for a long time when Kence's next words were like knives stabbing his heart

"Annoy me again and I'll stop talking to you for a whole week!" Kence threatened and it was extremely effective. Calter immediately shut his mouth in fear and he can only look at Kence with bitterness on his face

Calter can win in a verbal fight but Kence is the boss!

Seeing Calter's reaction, Kence sticks out his tongue like a child to annoy him. However, instead of getting annoyed, Calter just stared at that red tongue and his adam's apple visibly bulges as if he saw the most delicious thing in the world

Kence saw that look and he becomes angry again. His mood is constantly shifting because of the hateful Calter

"Pervert!" Kence shouted while pinching Calter on the side. Just what has Kence done to be always in this kind of situation with Calter? And why does his heart felt flattered every time that he will saw Calter's desire over his body?

The two messed with each other for a few more minutes before the timer turned into zero and they were forced to continue their walk

This time, there are only two forks in the road. One has a bow logo and the other has a staff one

Considering that they encountered swordsmen before when they chose the sword, it was safe to assume that the enemies will use bows and staffs as weapons

Since the two doesn't have a choice but to clear the obstacles, they just chose a random road and it was the one that has bows in it

The two walks for a few minutes before they entered another sealed room as the path behind them vanishes and was replaced by a wall

On the other side of them was the same logo of bows and it lit up with glaring light that blinded Kence and Calter again

When the two recovered their vision, there are already five arrows coming towards them

The two were taken aback by that, they did not know that the enemies would make a move even before they can recover their vision

As a result, Calter's body moved on its own and he stood in front of Kence while swinging his sword

Calter manages to deflect the majority of the arrows but one of them still penetrated his left shoulder and warm blood spilled out from it

"C-Calter!" Kence shouted in worry while his eyes violently trembled. The sight of Calter shedding blood was familiar to Kence. It reminded him of the thing that happened back at the Little Spring Town and he hated it

Kence hated how Calter was hurt because of him. He hated how Calter's body turned bloodied trying to protect him

A wave of anger spread on every inch of Kence's body and his eyes reflected a cold glaring anger

Kence can feel some cold energies leaking out from his heart again and he knew that if he let it spread to his whole body, after this fight, he might not have any strength left to continue fighting

Kence doesn't want Calter to get hurt and he wants to avenge him from the archers but using this power has consequences. This is not a place that he can easily resolve the side effects his body would have

Thinking of this, Kence knew that he needs to use this power to the point that it won't badly affect him

Cold energies start to seep out from Kence's heart but instead of letting them stay inside him, Kence controlled them and they start to move outside his body

A freezing blue fog starts to surround Kence's body. In the past times that he uses the power inside his heart, the energies spread inside his body and it increases both his physical and magical powers

However, now, Kence gained the same result with a different approach. Instead of letting the cold energies seep into his internal organs and such, why not let it leak out from his pores?

In this way, Kence will lessen the side effects by a lot while having the same boost in power

Calter can feel the surrounding temperature suddenly dropping and before he can even look at the person in his side, Kence already made a move

A beautiful icy blue trail appeared as Kence runs towards the human archers on the other side of the room while an ice whip formed in his hand

Every step that Kence took was sure to make the ground below him froze

Seeing Kence charging at them, the archers scattered themselves while using magic to make arrows and they shot them at the youth

The archers will condensed winds and they will shot it with the help of their bows. Both the archers and arrows are extremely fast to the point that normal people can almost only see some blurred lines

The archers are extremely powerful but Kence was not someone to be underestimated too!

Kence dodges some of the arrows and they landed on the ground or walls blasting pieces of rocks everywhere

As for the two arrows that Kence cannot dodge, he swung his ice whip towards them. The surprising thing was that his ice whip actually expanded too while ice thorns formed in it

The element of surprise enabled Kence to successfully land a solid hit to one of the archers and the man's body was thrown in the walls causing it to be smashed into smaller pieces

Cracking sounds can be heard around as the archer's bones in the waist were broken by the whip

Some of the thorns from Kence's whipped also gave more injuries to the archer and cold energies start to invade its body

The archer soon turned into an ice sculpture and Kence retracted his whip. The archers might have fast speed but their bodies are inferior to the bodies of the swordsmen from before

Calter watched this scene in shock as he saw how Kence became a different person again. He really doesn't mind if Kence is like this, he was just worried about the reason for this sudden change in attitude

Calter is worried that Kence might be harmed. Thinking of this, Calter took out the arrow from his shoulder and more blood was spilled

After that, Calter controlled his mana and had it seep into his injuries to help him recover before joining in the fight
