Seeing how feisty the man acts just made Halli to want to tease him more. "Cutie, what's your name?" Halli asked but the other youth just made another "hmph" sound

However, the youth's stomach suddenly growled indicating how hungry he is. Hearing this, Halli smiled mischievously. "If you tell me your name, I'll give you tons of foods!"

The man bit his lip while pondering. From Halli's clothes and how extravagant the room they are in, it was clear to see that Halli is a Noble

If it was before, he would never offend Halli. But the days he experienced after his mother died slowly slapped him with reality. He was ambitious and planned to rise above the masses yet he can't even secure his own food. There are a lot of days where he didn't even eat anything at all

Two months passed without anything much happening. Kence and Calter lived their life in a peaceful manner. The two lay low for awhile and was silently raising their strength

In these two months, they will always have a sparring session and Kence's fighting skills slowly grew. Unfortunately, Calter is too soft on him! The man will either dodge or just block his spells. This isn't a true sparring at all!

Calter scratched his head. Although his spell casting is the field that he has the highest talent but his opponent is Kence! He don't want to accidentally hurt the man he loves even though he is confident on his skills

"W-what are you saying! I-I'm taking you seriously!" Calter said which was obviously a bluff. No one will believe what he just said

"Hmph, Big Brother, I'm not stupid! Mother offered me a sparring partner that will take me seriously before but I declined. Mother also said that if you won't take me seriously I need to say this to you and you'll fight me seriously!"

'That damn woman! How can she teach something like this to Kence?!' Calter cursed forgetting that it was his own mother. But you can't blame him much. Something this 'devious' will never enter Kence's mind on his own. The youth will never threaten him on his own accord!

After two months, Kence finally started to stop treating himself as just a servant. But of course not completely yet, it will still take a long time and he's just getting started on it.

Kence is now also comfortable at Emily and treated the woman like his own mother

But he's still a bit shy in front of Narry, the man wasn't as easy going like Emily after all

This made Calter to pursed his lip. "Alright, fine!" Since things already escalate to this point, Calter can only accept it

Otto is different from Calter. Although the old man also spoiled Kence in several areas but when it comes to training he would become a bit strict!

Otto don't want Kence's heavenly talent to be wasted. He can protect them for now but not forever. He is not an immortal that will never gets old and die. In the future, his disciples will be left on their own and they need to have the power to live peacefully

"I am free for a few days. Does the two of you wants to come with me in a dungeon? Don't worry though, it's just the lowest level of dungeon. I just figured it would be a good experience for Kence"

Kence's eyes lit up when hearing the dungeon. Dungeons are one of the headaches of every living creatures in the realm. Dungeons' appearance are random. Some only has one dungeon in an area just like Calter's property but there are also some that has hundreds or even thousands of dungeons

And those dungeon needs to be destroyed completely or be cleared regularly to avoid a dungeon outbreak. Also, not all the dungeons have value. The beast that you killed inside will not leave a corpse. Some also does not have any precious materials inside

No one knows how a dungeon was formed but it was a big headache. Of course, some are precious that it was enough to make cities fight for it. There are dungeons that can grow precious plants or have a place that can speed up one's cultivation speed. Those are the dungeons that will be sought by powerful mages

"I want to go!" Kence said excitedly. He heard that dungeons are like different worlds and Kence is curious about them

An overkill group is currently standing in front of a Dungeon. This group is compose of powerful mages. One is at a Grand Knight Rank, while three are peak Magic Knights. While the other two are only at Magic Apprentice level

The dungeon in front of them was a newly formed dungeon and it was coincidentally in the area of the City Lord's property. Dungeons are rarer in the Cities but it doesn't mean that they didn't form inside

This dungeon is just the lowest kind that a group of Magic Apprentices are enough to clear. Even just Otto is enough to clear it easily but they are actually accompanied by three Magic Knights

Calter won't risk Kence's safety after all. Call him overacting but no matter how low the danger, danger is still danger no matter what happened!
