"S-stop! Y-you pervert!" Kier can't really understand this man. How can someone act this shameless? Are all Nobles like this?

"I'm just giving you a favor by showing you a good scenery!"

Kier can't take it anymore and charge at the door to flee from the 'shameless demon'

Halli chuckled before pulling Kier's wrist to stop him. "Let me go!" Kier shouted and tried pulling his wrist back which was a futile attempt

Halli thinks that the teasing enough, if he teased Kier too much, the man might really do everything he can to get far away as possible from him. To 'pacify' his 'lover', Halli pulled Kier's head on his chest

Kence and his 'chaperones' exited the Dungeon after a day of training. If a group of Magic Apprentices were the ones that tried to clear the dungeon, it would surely take them at least almost a whole day

But with their lineup, after Kence was fully exhausted on his training they can already finish clearing the dungeon in no time at all

As soon as they exited the dungeon, they saw a servant outside waiting for them

When the servant saw Calter, she immediately walked towards him and gave the youth a letter

"Young Master Calter, one of your servants asked me to give you this" Calter calmly opened the letter and the content gave him a pleasant surprise

Amazement was written all over Calter's face. This was an outcome he didn't expected to have, with this, his plans are slowly getting closer to his desired goal

"Big Brother what is it, you looked so happy" Kence asked curiously while a sour feeling surfaced on his heart. He doesn't know why but there's an unknown emotion he was having when he thought that someone made Calter happy like this

Calter looked at Kence and ruffled the latter's hair. "One of our slaves broke through and become a Grand Knight!" Calter announced the news, even using the word 'our' as if they are also Kence's slaves

This is really good news as that is a Grand Knight! The true peak powers in the whole realm! Adding an additional Grand Knight in a City will elevate that City's status a lot. Especially since the Soaring Magic City only has one expert at that level

"W-what?!" The others were shocked by this especially Otto

As the City Lord is a Grand Knight himself, how can he not know how hard it so to attain such power? There are hundreds of Magic Knights in the City but only one managed to break through in the next rank

But now, you are telling him that Calter has a Rank 3 Mage slave, how can Otto not be surprised?

"I'll head in the Demon's Den to check things out"

Calter named his base as Demon's Den despite Otto and the others wanting him to give it another name. But he chose that name because most of the people there are prisoners and Darkness type mage

He currently has 40 prisoners there. There are ten Magic Apprentices, Ten Magic Warriors and so on. These mages are also not the merciful type and Calter planned on letting them do his dirty things. Isn't Demon's Den, a perfect name for it?

"Big Brother, I'll go with you" Kence said while pulling the sides of Calter's clothes but the young master just patted Kence's head. "Be good and rest here. I know you're tired" Kence pouted as he wants to go with Calter but does not want to disobey

"I'll come back as soon as possible, okay?" Calter said and Kence reluctantly nodded his head

"Young Master Calter, there is also someone waiting for you inside the Manor" the servant said and Calter narrowed his eyes. He wasn't expecting any visitors as he doesn't even know many people. Who would visit him at this time?

"Who is it?"

"It was Marquee's Tem's nephew, Denma" the servant answered and Calter had a realization on his face when he heard this

Calter completely forgot Denma as he really become too busy. The man must be anxiously waiting for him after all these months

"Alright, I'll meet him"

Calter gave Kence a kiss on the forehead first before following the servant to where Denma is

When Calter saw Denma, just like what he was expecting, the youth looks antsy. People who pursue the path of power will surely pay any price!

When Denma saw Calter, the former immediately stood up from his seat as if he was already waiting for a long time already

"Yo!" Calter greeted and grinned. Denma wants to wipe that smirk off Calter as he knew that Calter knows he will bite on the bait

He asked his Clan's Elders about taking an oath under the power of the God of Order and all of them gave him one answer. Any oath you taken must be fulfilled or else you will die

For thousands of years, no mage was able to escape the God's power and all of them are either forced to do what they vowed to do or died while their souls were seized by the God

Any soul that was seized will not have a good ending

"I accept to be your loyal subordinate!" Denma immediately said. He deeply yearned for magical knowledge that Calter possesses and was afraid that the man won't give it to him

"Swear now" Calter said while crossing his arms in front of him. A person like Denma if nourished properly will definitely rise into power

The number one limiting factor for mages to advance in the Grand Knight is magical knowledge. Without magic manuals, you can only grasp in the dark and try to comprehend things on your own

However, that is thousands of times harder. But Calter can give such manual to Denma, his chances of becoming a Grand Knight will be high as he's a genius himself

Denma did as what he was told and took an oath on the spot. That familiar golden light filled with endless power and authority shone on his body. As this is Denma's first time experiencing this, the light gave him a lot of shock. Even he, knows that not even the Elders of his Clan can produce a light this powerful

An ethereal power bind on Denma and he's going to be Calter's eternal loyal subordinate. His life and death were not on his hands anymore

Although Denma doesn't like it but his goal is to become powerful and he's willing to pay any price. As long as he becomes powerful enough, there might be a day where he will break free from this shackle and regain his freedom

Calter nodded his head in satisfaction. Denma will become one of his long-term forces. The youth still doesn't have enough power but his talent is even higher than most prisoner Calter has

After Calter learned how to become a Rank 4 Mage, with his help, Denma would have higher chance of breaking through than his other servants as Calter will help him make a solid foundation from the start

Calter produced a complete book that he took from his spatial ring and gave it to Denma. He already completed the manual and there are four books in total corresponding to different ranks

The one he gave to Denma is the book for Magic Apprentices. He has quite a lot of books like that. After he completed the writing, it was now easy to replicate it

As his goal is to nourish a powerful force, why would he be stingy on things like this?

The amazement for the manual that Calter gave him increased. Denma thought that it was only because of the special manual that Calter managed to helped someone become a Grand Knight

He doesn't know that it was because of Calter himself as all the knowledge in the manual came from him. And Calter also personally taught his slaves at least once every two or three days

It made all of his slaves' shock as a mere Magic Apprentice has a profound understanding on magic that will make all of them to blush in shame

There are also some Magic Warriors and Knights giving some pointers to them. This kind of treatment was so extravagant. Even Nobles doesn't have something like this

But it was only like this because Calter is abusing the Shan Clan. The Shan Clan is surely finished after their current generation. They might not be able to produce other Knights again due to how Calter overworked them

"Since you are part of my force now, you need to change your mentality on several things. For example, the older generation made a system where the powerful will be given a chance to become even more powerful while the weak are neglected"
