"From morning to noon did you participate in learning or not?". replied Demian again. 

"Study, now there is no free time for playing or chatting, because soon we will face exams. So, I studied seriously". Qiara replied.

"Good, cheer up then! I'll see you!".

"When are you coming back?".

"Maybe in two weeks".

"Oh, well then, you're fine there!".

"Yes, oh yes thanks for making me miss!". Demian replied, accompanied by love emoticons. 

Qiara was stunned when she read Demian's last message, she never expected that Demian would say it, she also forgot since when she and Demian could communicate casually without a fuss.

"What the heck? I'll go home first!". After sending her last message, Qiara immediately cycled with joy.

her heart was completely filled with flowers in the spring, Qiara also felt relieved that Demian didn't discuss her absence at that time.

Arriving home, Qiara was immediately greeted by her mother with a big smile. 

"How was today dear?". Renata asked softly. Qiara leaned back on the sofa while throwing her bag carelessly while answering. "Just like yesterday".

Hearing Qiara's answer, Renata sat down and brought Qiara a drink. 

"Drink first!". Renata said as she handed him a glass of juice water.

Qiara grabbed it immediately after that she drank it.

"Honey. How is your husband? It's been several months Mama has not heard from him, he also never came to the house or called Mama. Did you make him angry?". Renata asked who couldn't help but ask about it. 

"I forbid it, so I don't know how it's been". Qiara replied casually.

"Why is that? Your relationship is okay right? Didn't you look romantic when you were in Japan, other than that you already did right?". Renata asked in surprise.

Qiara's expression became strange at Renata's words because she did not understand such a thing. 

"Julian and I didn't do anything, and I also don't want to talk to him. So, don't ask me again and I don't care about him. One more thing Qiara and Julian will be divorcing soon". Qiara said curtly.

Renata was shocked, her expression darkened as she spontaneously slapped Qiara's face.

"Aaaahh ...". Qiara screamed while holding her cheek in surprise.

"Watch your words! Like it or not you have to pay attention to your husband! You must learn to love and accept him because you will never find a better man than Julian. Mama knows you are still young to understand it, but if it wasn't Julian who asked and don't hope Mama will agree to your request". Renata said with a red face because she was very afraid that Qiara would experience bad things like her. 

Qiara was shocked to see what her mother was doing. In all her life, she was never slapped. But now she did not expect that her Mama she knew was very gentle suddenly slapped her, holding Qiara's cheek crying, her heart ached to hear her mother's babbling. 

Renata stood up and immediately left Qiara while wiping her tears, she also felt hurt that she had hit Qiara. But, she can't control herself when she hears the word divorce, she just doesn't want to see her child go through what she's been through, being a widow isn't easy.

"Why is life not fair to me? I was born with a stupid brain. Not beautiful and smart like Vania. I also lost love from my father since I was a child, and now I have to accept my destiny just like that without anyone listening to what I want? ". Qiara thought after she was in her room sobbing. 

The next morning, Qiara did not find Renata in the kitchen. She immediately looked for her in the room and found her mother still lying.

"Ma ...". Called Qiara while sitting beside Renata. However, Renata didn't move an inch. Qiara immediately felt worried and tried to wake her mother many times but there was no response at all.

"Mama ... Wake up! Don't make Qiara afraid!"

Qiara was really worried, she panicked until she didn't know what to do, especially when she saw her mother's pale face.

"Mama don't leave Qiara, please forgive me!". Qiara kept trying to wake up her mother while sobbing. 

After that Qiara tried to check her mother's breath, for a moment she felt relieved because she could still feel Renata's breath. 

Soon after, she ran outside to ask her neighbor for help.

Not long after, she managed to take her mother to the hospital with the neighbor's help by taxi. 

"Sir ... Hurry!". Exclaimed Qiara impatiently. 

"Yes". Said the taxi driver, nodding his head.

Hospital City B. 

Not long after that they arrived at the hospital. Immediately Qiara and her neighbor brought Renata into the emergency room. 

After that Qiara sat on the waiting bench right in front of the room where Renata was being examined. At that instant, Qira looked dazed and cried incessantly because her heart and mind were filled with fear.

Just then, Qiara's cell phone rang and it was from Sarah who was none other than her mother-in-law. Qiara immediately picked it up with a little trembling. 

"Hello Ma ...". Qiara greeted after sliding the green icon on her cellphone.

"Hello dear, sorry to disturb you in the morning, I want to ask if your mother is at home, because she is not answering the phone?". Sarah asked in a soft voice.

"Ummm ... Mama was in the hospital and she was not conscious!". Qiara replied while sobbing. 

"What?". Sarah was shocked because she knew that Renata had a heart disease. "Honey ... Please calm down! Mama will be there soon! You wait, okay!". Sarah dialed in a panicked voice, after which she turned off the phone.

Qiara slumped again after talking with her mother-in-law. She slumped to the floor crying.

Not long after that she remembered that today was the day, she entered school. She immediately sent a message to Valen. 

Sending messages. 

"Valen, today I can't enter because my Mama is hospitalized. Please allow me to the teachers!".

"Oh my gosh, what aunt hurt?".

"Later I'll explain to you! Because now my mind is not clear".

"All right! You just take care of Auntie! Let me allow you to be the teacher. Later, we will stop by the hospital after school".

After reading Valen's last message, Qiara returned to curl up without stopping crying because the doctor had not yet come out to tell her about her mother.. Instantly there was a fear of being left behind again like Vania who had left her suddenly because all the time she had only her mother.
