My Destined Werewolf Mate

The next early morning, it was around 7 am. Radiant sunbeams were emerging inside the room amidst the glass windows. Birds were chirping outside and it seemed to be a blissful new day after the long dark night.

Clara had chosen to stay overnight in Eva's apartment, to console her in her anxious phase. They chattered together for the whole night, reprimanding their old childhood memories in order to seek a pleasant time being.

But Eva wasn't in a stable emotional state either. Although she managed to hide her worries from Clara, her inner core was shattered entirely. She was badly concerned about Zeus's condition but chose to portray a fake eloquence in front of her for the whole night.

Moreover, in the dark night, she didn't get a bit glimpse of sleep. All along, she kept glancing at the bright moon illuminating the sky while thinking about him. The way he was brutally injured, it was pretty sure that it would be obviously challenging for him to recover in his prior resolute form.

The thought was intensely puzzling her from insides along with her heart throbbing in dread.

Thinking about their tragic ill-fated turn of relationship, all she could do was feeling guilt-stricken all alone. She was sad, helpless, angry with her own vulnerability which led Zeus to such a grave injured state.

But after thinking for the whole night, she came up with a conclusion as the sun rose in the sky illuminating the horizon. Quietly she stood up from her bed and took a small peek at Clara. She was immersed in deep sleep with her face appearing like a small child. As she glanced at her for some time, slowly she shifted her gaze away from her and headed towards the glass corner table located at the edge of the room.

From there, she picked up a pen and wrote a note for Clara, holding a frown nervous eloquence.

"Clara, I have somewhere very urgent to go... Sorry, I couldn't wait till you wake up. I...I am feeling very anxious right now. Sorry, I can't make you aware of my inner turmoils. But finally, I have mustered up all my courage to visit that area... I don't know when I will be back or not...But, I will try to come back safe to you. Till then, wait for me."

Slowly she folded the paper and placed it before the desk near her bed. Exhaling out a heavy breath, she headed straight towards the other room at a slow pace to get dressed up before heading away somewhere.

"So... I am...finally here." 

She murmured slowly raising her chin up above from her phone. Feeling quite nervous and perplexed, she breathed out in a puff and gawked at the enormous mansion in her front view.

She was standing before the dark, mysterious Romano Mansion, the place which was absolutely forbidden for her.

Despite receiving a strict warning from Czar for never stepping her feet inside the mansion, she still mustered up every ounce of her inner strength to visit it. For the whole night, her heart was petrified and helpless wondering about Zeus which let her become desperate to come across such a decision just for him.

"I don't know...what I gotta face here... But... I won't retreat, till I get a glimpse of him. I wanna see him with my own eyes... No matter what, I won't go back till I get to see him. Even it's just for once. I will be desperate today." Wondering with a frown, dubious face, she gulped her saliva down and closed the Google Map application on her phone which helped her till now to reach her destination.

As she started heading towards the entrance, she saw a strange sight!

Two giant cryptic people wearing complete black formal suit attire were standing guarding the gigantic metallic gate at the entrance with a vicious expression on their faces. And on the top of the guard wall, there was a large sign stuck on.

"Entrance strictly prohibited." 

Looking at the sign, Eva was quite surprised as it was absolutely weird. Furrowing her eyebrows, she glanced at the large magnificent mansion which concealed an intense dark aura around it. Somehow, her heart a strange terrifying sensation gazing at such a mysterious place.

"What kind of weird sign is it! And why the hell they would put it right there? Ahhhh, damn, it means...those weird men would definitely not allow me to enter inside. Ughh, fuck!" She stomped her left feet in anger and murmured out her words in a lower voice fuming in utmost frustration. "No... I must not retreat today... I bet... I came so far and now I mustn't go back... There...There must be some way...There must be--"

Suddenly her dark, rolled up overstimulated eyes were impaled on a sight as she glanced at it being all intensified. 

Just from a distance of around 10-15 meters away from the entrance gate towards the backside of the mansion, there was a huge hole at the bottom area of the guard wall, which was technically covered up with a large bush placed in front of that hole. Probably, it was placed there so that space won't catch any public attention. But it wasn't concealed from Eva's sharp, desperate gaze which was seeking a small chance to get inside the mansion.

"That's it... That's all I needed! Bingo!" Beaming with joy, she clapped her arms a few times with a glimmer of hope in her eyes. "If I squeeze myself a little more... I can easily crawl inside the mansion with that gap... That's it...

But...looking from outside about how gigantic this mansion is, I am sure there must be guards circling around... What if I get caught? Will they kill me?

Ahh, no. Eva, you don't have time to think about these kinds of stuff. Focus on your determination. I must go inside. He nearly died to protect me from that monster... So I mustn't back out.

Zeus, I am coming to see you." Murmuring her words on her own, with slow cat steps, she headed towards her mission.
