My Navy Seal II: Undeniable Attraction

NICK

I watch as Madison's nephew, Andrew is busy cleaning the horse stalls. I realize that he still has a lot to learn before he can become a Navy Seal but I also realize that I am the one that can show him the way. Detective Marks has done so much for me over these past few months that this is the least that I can do for him.

I walk away from the horse stalls and give Marks a call.

"Just say it to me straight. He is not going to make it is he?"

"I would not say that. What I would say is that he has the potential but he needs to learn a few more things. If he is available to stay here for the next two days I can teach him and then I am almost completely sure that he would be able to make it"

"You are not kidding with me right now or are you?"

"No, I'm very serious"

"That will be great if you can do that because to tell you the truth, Madison's nephew is a bit of a screw up but ever since he wanted to become a Navy Seal he changed his life around. So, I do not want to see him fail in this one thing that pulled back onto the straight and narrow"

"I'm sure that I can help him and he can stand a chance. Like, I said he has the potential"

"Well, then I will let him know that he will be staying for the next two days"

I can hear how grateful he is in his voice and soon we say our goodbyes. Then I walk back to the stalls and as soon as I see him he stops to work and salutes me.

"Master Chief, sir"

"At ease, Andrew. I just spoke to Detective Marks and he will probably contact you soon. I will see you tomorrow bright and early make sure you bring your A-game"

"Yes, sir"

He just stands and stares at me as if I should give him another order. Then I say.

"Off you go now"

"Yes, sir"

He looks unsure of whether I have really dismissed him now or not but when he sees that I am serious, he starts to run. He has a far way to run back to the house and I could have told him everything but a good Navy Seal will figure things out by himself.

He has to learn to be able to cope when he is alone. I finish up the stalls and my work for the day is finished. I realized that I am going to have a lot of fun tomorrow and at the same time this is a serious thing. I remember when I was alone and didn't know who I was that the skills I've learned through my life brought me back to where I should be.

My only hope for Andrew is that once he becomes a Navy Seal that he would be able to survive on his own. Then I get into the truck and drive back to the house. As I stop the car Kim is waiting for me on the porch.

It is almost like we have gotten into some kind of a routine. Every day she will wait for me to come back home and then I'm greeted with a big smile on her face. She is extremely happy and I am too.

"How was your day?"

I kiss her and then hold her tight against me.

"It was very interesting. I decided he should stay another two days because I have some things to teach him before he goes back"

KIM

As Nick tells me all about his day and what tests he let the poor guy go through, I realize that he is enjoying every moment of it. I start to wonder whether it was a good idea that Nick quit being a Navy Seal. What if he is missing it already?

"Tonight it is only me and you in the big house. My dad would be going back to doing his duty from tomorrow and so everyone went out to celebrate. So, I decided that we would stay in and celebrate because this means that we are going back to the city"

NICK

I never thought the day would come that she says those beautiful words to me. We are going back to the city. I would lie if I say that I will not miss the ranch but I do want to start our life together. I want to figure out what I want to do and I want to come back home to my wife and not her family.

I want to take her out of her comfort zone and see if she would be comfortable with me. I want to see her in a work environment and how she is in the city. I want to start our beautiful life together.

I can not stop myself from lifting her up and swinging her around. She loves it and then we kiss.

"I am so glad to hear that we are going to start our life together"

"Me too. Now come in, dinner is ready"

I walk through the doors and I see candles everywhere. I can see that she has put in a lot of effort for this dinner and I can see the happiness on her face.

"Wow, Kim, it's beautiful"

"I am so happy you like it"

There's a table for two, set out in the middle of the dining room, and then she says to me.

"Take a seat"

I am intrigued by the mood that she is in right now. She is so extremely happy and it looks like she wants to see my expression of what she has done for me. She's almost like a little girl excited about what she has achieved.

This makes me extremely happy because all I want for her is happiness. Then she disappears behind the kitchen doors and comes back with my favorite food. Beef roast and potatoes.

"Did you make this?!"

"Yes, I did"

I pull her closer to me and give her a kiss. I feel so loved by her and I look forward to the life that we are going to have together. Then she hands me the knife and I cut the roast. She put on soft music in the background and we start to talk about all kinds of things.

She found a nice place in the city which we would go and see. Then we would see if we want to buy it when we get there. She is still deciding between two offers that she got from different hospitals and it would depend on where we stay.

But then suddenly she starts to cry. I jump up and stand next to her while I say, holding her hand.

"What is wrong? Did I say something wrong?"

KIM

As we start to talk I can not help suddenly feeling extreme sadness filling my entire being. There is nothing for me to be sad about but then I just suddenly start to cry. I can see that Nick is completely confused but he is by my side immediately.

"I do not know what is wrong. Maybe the fact that I'm going to leave my mom and dad alone again. But then I want to say in the same breath that I can not wait to spend my life with you and you alone"

Nick pulls me up from my chair and then he gives me one of those beautiful bear hugs that makes me feel completely safe.

"Do not worry, doc. They will be okay"

"I know they will"

Then we sit back down again and finish our dinner. As the candles start to burn out, I realize that we have been talking for hours. I remember how I always wanted to have someone that I can talk to and I have to be honest, I never thought that Nick would be that someone.

Even though he is a man of few words. He always knows what to say at the right times. We make our way back to our bedroom but soon we find comfort in each other. I do not know for how long this will carry on but every night we can not seem to get enough of each other.

NICK

Once again I get the opportunity to explore my beautiful wife's body. Every day I am grateful that I made the decision to marry her. I know that our life in the city will be one that is filled with joy and laughter. I know that we will have troubles and tribulations that we have to face but I am very sure that we will overcome them.

Once again we fall asleep in each other's arms and every night I sleep with a smile on my face. My alarm goes off and I know that Andrew will be waiting for me when I open the door. He seems to be a man of honor and I must say I'm going to enjoy today.

I quietly get out of bed because I know that Kim is still sleeping. I get dressed and then make my way out of the house. Just as I thought, he is standing outside waiting for me. Then he salutes me and says.

"Master Chief, sir. Reporting for duty!"
