"Don't come after me on purpose!! Stupid!! idiot!!" (Little Destroyer in orange)

A Beast Abyssal Light cruiser To-class charged at the small orange destroyer, who is running away. Rather than being frightened, the little destroyer seems to be furious that she is being targeted. The little destroyer wore a striped crop top under a orange vest, a green ribbon on her collar, and white flared skirt with black leggings. Her brown hair is tied into a side ponytail and a small white beret sat on the right side of her head. This girl's name is Narsuiro Matsuri, a destroyer under Azur Lane's Hololive faction, and a self-proclaimed pure and wholesome idol. Although, her screaming and shouting profanities at her assailant are anything but pure or wholesome.

Watching her being chased is a cat-girl with white ears and a tail. Half of her tail is black, ending at the tip. Her tail resembles that of the other Sakura Empire fox girls, though it is not as fluffy as theirs. Her outfit is mostly similar to a Miko's outfit, with white kimono sleeves, a white kimono top which exposes her midriff, black flared skirt and stockings. Her rigging consist of two constructs resembling the bow of a ship, both of which are equipped with Twin 12.7mm Type 3 mod B guns. This girl is called Shirakami Fubuki, a destroyer from the same faction as Matsuri.

On her left is a young girl with a small statue. She has long silver hair, tied into twintails with purple ribbons and bells, and two horns sticking out of her forehead. She wore a white and purple military-style blouse, matching skirt with black frils and a purple cap. A gold chain held a black overlarge coat to her blouse. Attached to her waist are two katanas, one red and one black. Her rigging had two had two large Oni masks, attached to each side, and a purplish blue mist dancing around her. From the same Hololive faction, she is a heavy crusier named Nakiri Ayame.

On Fubuki's right is a taller girl, with long black hair and large black ears sticking out of the top of her head. They look like wolf ears, so she is a wolf-girl? She wore a black one-piece dress, with red and white accents. From her classification, she is an aircraft carrier, so she has sleeves reminiscent of a miko's. She also wore mismatched, but strangely fitting, leggings. There is something furry wrapped around her left thigh. Her rigging is similar to those from the Ironblood, consisting of two large wolf-like constructs with a flight deck attached on top. This wolf-girl is Okami Mio, another member of Hololive. Accompanying the four of them is my Zuihou and Shigure-chan. Fubuki and Mio seem to be familiar with Shigure-chan, since she participated in Operation Thorn Heart. They were surprised to see Zuihou being taller than when they last met. The usual confusion as always.

This is a joint operation between Maizuru and Azur Lane to secure and transport a black mental cube held by an Abyssal fleet in the Salmon Seas. Apart from the Beast Abyssals and the normal Abyssals, we can expect high-ranking Sirens to be involved as well. I say this is a joint operation, but we were dragged into this by HQ. Since the Salmon Seas are under Maizuru's jurisdiction, we were ordered to assist in the mission as my girls are familiar with the area. With the previous encounters in mind, I sortied Zuihou and Shigure-chan. Zuihou is in charged of leading the fleet to the location while Shigure-chan acts as a counter-action against the Beast Abyssals with her napalm skills. The plan was to have Shigure-chan use her napalm skills to chase away or flinch any beast Abyssals that get too close. I won't go into detail, but we discovered that Beast Abyssals hate fire, something that hasn't been observed or recorded previously. That was the plan, until Masturi stumbled upon a To-class, lying in ambush.

The To-class is not a normal one. It has two additional arms, both of which are red and missing a finger or two. It has an additional face sticking out of the head on it's top, with it's own set of uneven and disgusting looking teeth. Terrific, they are evolving to be uglier than usual.

"Don't just stand there and watch! Hurry up and do something about damn thing!" (AL Natsuiro Matsuri)

"Alright. Alright. Let's go. Just as we practiced." (AL Shirakami Fubuki)

"Ok. Shigure-chan, can you stop it for us? We just need it to be still for one second." (AL Ookami Mio)

"I can try, but I don't want to hit Matsuri-san." (Shigure-chan)

"Don't worry. Just aim at Matsuri-chan and fire when I tell you to. Then leave the rest to us." (AL Shirakami Fubuki)

"You girls have a plan?"

"Yep. This is the perfect time to try our new move." (AL Shirakami Fubuki)

Fubuki raised her hand and waved to Matsuri, who is still shouting profanities and taking potshots at the To-class,

"Matsuri, do your best! Just hold out a little bit more!" (AL Shirakami Fubuki)

"Hurry up and kill this thing already, you stupid fox!" (AL Narsuiro Matsuri)

Eh? Fubuki is not a cat but a fox?

"Ayame-chan, you ready?" (AL Ookami Mio)

"Yes, Mio-chan." (AL Nakiri Ayame)

Blue balls of fire appeared atop Fubuki's palms,

"Then, on my mark," (Shirakami Fubuki)

Shigure-chan took aim with her gun, a bright orange light emitting from the barrels. A fleet of transparent, yellow aircraft took shape on Mio's flight deck. The fog around Ayame got thicker as she placed her hands on her swords while lowering her body, as if getting ready to jump.

"Shigure-chan, now!" (AL Shirakami Fubuki)

Shigure-chan fired a flaming, gelatinous mass towards Matsuri, barely missing the destroyer by a few centimeters and igniting the water in front of the To-class. As expected, the To-class flinched from the sudden intense heat and bright light.

"FAM, let's go!" (AL Shirakami Fubuki)

The planes on Mio's flight deck took flight and flew high up in the air. At the same time, Fubuki threw her blue fire balls at the To-class, which exploded into more fireballs upon contact. The fireballs flew up high into the air following the path of the Mio's aircraft. Ayame disappeared, reappearing on top of one of Mio's planes. The planes and fireballs proceed to make a nosedive, straight towards the To-class, who is still paralyzed with fear.

"Eh? Where do I cut? This thing doesn't have a head." (AL Nakiri Ayame)

"Just cut straight through it. It's not a tough one."

Ayame leaped towards the screaming To-class, drew her swords and made a X-shaped cut through the creature. The To-class went silent and split into four pieces, only to be shredded by the volley of bullets and fireballs raining down on it. Blue blood splattered all over place, with some splattering onto the Oni girl. The To-class has been annihilated. Not even a piece of it's flesh remained. That thing didn't even have a chance to disappear beneath the surface.

Alright. I admit, that was a spectacle. It was both devastating and flashy.

Ayame returned to her friends side, covered in blue Abyssal blood.

Fubuki's ears folded up as her friend continued shouting. Mio and Ayame are having their little moment on the side. Zuihou and Shigure-chan looked at the four of them.

"Is this how they were at that time?" (Zuihou)
