Pokémon: Reborn As Lucas

"Professor" "Professor"

"Oh you two are finally here! I almost thought you would never come."

Before them stood an aged old man with a white robe. He was Professor Rowan, an old friend of the famous Pokémon Professor, Professor Oak from the Kanto region.

"Why would we not want our first Pokémon?"(Lucas)

"Yes, we came as soon as Lucas got better! Otherwise we would have come earlier."(Barry)

Prof.Rowan frowned at this and asked "What do you mean by "as soon as Lucas got better" ? It is unusual for him to fall ill at this time of the year."

"Not really Professor. I just had some backlash after staying up late and reading too much at night which caused a headache in the morning after getting up. But anyway! Now that we are here and I am feeling better we are ready to get our Pokémon! I really can't hold myself!" (Lucas)

"Yeah Professor don't go off topic! Let us in so that we can choose our strater." (Barry)

"Are you really alright Lucas? Well I will trust you this once. If you can't even take care of yourself how can you take care of your Pokémon? And I hope you did not forget the reason why you recieve a Pokémon from me and keep your promise of helping me to complete the Pokédex." (Prof.Rowan)

"Don't worry Professor. I feel as healthy as though I just ate an Egg from a Chansey." (Lucas)

Seeing their reaction Professor Rowan decided not to further dwell on this topic. Following this he signalised them that they should follow behind him as he walked into the Lab.

As they followed behind his footsteps they were amazed by the interior. Though the impact it had on Lucas was still on another level.

Everywhere were very futuristic devices and machines. Each of them was for testing and analysing different things. They could see the assistants working together with Pokémon to for example measure the power of a Thunderbolt of an electric type Pokémon.

Similar experiments could be seen with many different types of Pokémon. The safety measures were decent aswell as each experiment took place in an isolated space. This guarantees the safety of everyone else in the Lab and stopps experiments from influencing each other.

Soon they arrived at the end of the first floor and came in front of a stairway. After climbing the stairs they arrived in a room that seemed to be an office.

The room was split in two. Each side had a huge desk that instantly drew the attention of every person that was there for the first time. However they quickly noticed something strange. One side was overfilled with research papers and other than that many other things lying around.

The other side however was almost empty.

The Professor also noticed their gazes and said

" Dawn is researching many things which is why there are so many doc.u.ments here. The other side however belongs to a former assistant of mine. She went graduated from my Training and is now out in the world collecting information about Pokémon as well as spreading her knowledge. She is the Person I am most proud of yet but I am sure that Dawn will be as good as her."

Barry and Lucas were listening attentively while the words of Prof.Rowan caused a blush to appear on Dawns face. Before the could ask the name of the person the Professor already went on and arrived in front of a huge metallic door.

"Behind this door is my personal Lab. Please stay back for a second." ( Prof.Rowan)

They complied and wondered what will happen when they suddenly saw a red light scanning the whole body of the Professor. It took almost two minutes until the door finally opened while being accompanied by a mechanic and cold voice that said "Identity comfirmed. Welcome back Professor Rowan."
