Rebellious Path

Well, that was a nice day, except for the part I learned that the motherf.u.c.k.i.n.g piece of shit is alive. I emitted some bloodl.u.s.t as I ate the food that was served quite quickly.

Lilia and the others immediately noticed the bloodl.u.s.t I was emitting. Well, As soon as they noticed, I immediately suppressed it so they will not bother me about it. We then continued to eat as they chatted with each other about stuff and such while I was deeply thinking.

'I should do some digging. If he was resurrected, he won't likely appear as a hero since the government had confirmed it themselves that he is dead. I should go join the villains right?', I thought about it deeply as we finished eating.

They were completely satisfied and that did cause a smile to bloom on my face as I looked at them. Suddenly, except for Reika, Fumiko, Chiyo, Kiyo, Hina, and Aoi, the other girls' faces blushed as they tried to look away. I just continued to smile seeing their fl.u.s.tered expression.

Lilia then coughed as she calmed herself down with a shrug as she said, "All right, Fumiko, thanks for today. I guess it's time for us to go", Fumiko simply smiled as she stood up. "I'll follow you out."

We then proceeded to walk out of this huge a.s.s mansion to the outside. As we arrived outside, our car was already in front of us which is... incredibly fast. They already knew we were leaving, so it's already outside. How great is that?

Lilia then turned around to look at Fumiko as she said, "All right then, thanks for the gifts you gave, We'll be going now", Fumiko just smiled as she waved her hand whilst saying, "It's no big deal, see you."

We then walked towards the car whilst all the girls already went inside. But before I went inside, I looked at Fumiko and said, "I really thank you for the gifts Fumiko-san", with a smile plastered on my face. Fumiko just gave a rin as she gave a thumbs up, "I hoped you like it though!"

"I liked it very much, well then, it's time for us to go, see you at school, Dean!", I said as I slowly entered the car. Fumiko just crossed her arms as she said, "No, no, Fumiko-san is fine, okay!", I just gave up and said, "Yes ma'am!"

I then proceeded to smiled as I sat down on the driver's seat and looked at everyone via the rearview mirror. "Let's go", I said lightly as I adjusted myself whilst stepping on the gas pedal lightly. I then proceeded to drive out of the yard through the gate which seemingly opened accordingly, which is quite amazing, to be fair.

Then, without further ado, time to drive home! and yes, I did it quickly without a single care of the world. I mean, who cares nowadays. I already memorized the place, the roads to go through, and everything, so coming here is really, really easy for me now. In fact, in all the places I went through, I already know the exact location and how to get there.

As you may have guessed, we quickly arrived back without any burden in hand. I simply drove towards the garage and drove through as it opened. I then drifted to a swirl as I parked the car at the exact spot it came from.

"You are really good at driving, I didn't expect that at all. You can maybe compete for a race or something", Lilia just smiled as she crossed her arms whilst looking at me suggesting things. I guess joining a race isn't bad? I can earn money for myself as well.

"Sure, I guess that's a good idea", I said as I opened the door. Lilia merely gave a slight laugh as she also opened the door as she walked out, followed by the girls. I proceeded to look at Lilia and said, "Can I go? I got something to take care of."

Lilia just gave a straight face as she nodded whilst saying, "Sure, no problem", she didn't ask any question about where I was going or what I was gonna do, and I'm thankful for that. She was someone who respects people's privacy. She then proceeded to ask, "Which car are you gonna use?"

I simply shook my head as I said, "Nah, I am not gonna use a car, I'm just gonna commute. Well, I should go, see you later!", I then smiled as I disappeared from my spot completely and reappearing outside.

'Better have my identity unknown rather than be known and get hunted, but for now...', I thought as I brought out a mask and placed it on my face as I teleported once more in a dark alley.

I then looked around as I wore my mask and my aura became darker. I then proceeded to walk even deeper on the alley as I said, "Let's test out this weapon first", the rope dart was inside my pocket as I had no other room to place it in. Well, a pocket is not that bad.

'Now...', I then proceeded to pull out the rope dart and held the dart on my right hand and the chain on the left. Suddenly, I felt as if the weapon was s.u.c.k.i.n.g my magic power along with the mana spreading on the air. But I also had the feeling that I could manipulate it freely?

I then looked at the wall and aimed the dart in my hand and corrected my stance. And with a jerk, I threw the blade right at the wall, and at that moment, it felt as if the dart could pierce through everything and it did for a fact.

It quite shocked me, to be honest. I thought it would just pierce it a little bit, but it went through like it was piercing butter. Good thing I held the chain, or it would've pieced even further. Then suddenly, I had an idea. If I get a feeling that I could manipulate it, maybe I could actually.

Then, I proceeded to pour magic power unto the whole thing and controlled it with my thoughts, and indeed, it did work. But the only thing was, it only twitched a little bit. I could not control it properly. Just what was this?

As I pulled it out, I suddenly felt something piercing my consciousness causing me to tremble. The pain was indeed very high and I couldn't help but stagger on my feet. I began to tremble due to pain, but I endured.

I felt as if I was gonna go unconscious, so I stopped pouring magic power to the rope dart, and suddenly, all the pain subsided. This time, I was greatly confused. Does the pain have anything to do with the weapon in my hand?

I just sighed as I pulled the rope dart back unto my hands, and looked at the mark in the blade. The mark that symbolizes an hourglass... an hourglass means time. Just what was this? The first thing that appeared to me was something related to space, now was it time?

I just shrugged as I looked around the alley. This was the most known alley that had a lot of hoodlums, and probably even villains stayed. I then walked even deeper just to hear the same old, c.o.c.ky gangster laugh which was annoying if you ask me.

Just then, before anything else, the world seemed to fluctuate. Suddenly, as if the world was something virtual, it started to become shaky, the winds stopped blowing, and the noise completely disappeared, leaving only nothing but pure silence. "This..."

This was similar to the time when I picked up the rope dart. Rope dart... wait, is it related to it!? I then pulled out the rope dart only to see the hourglass shining brightly as it created a floating magic circle similar to an hourglass. Then suddenly, a voice sounded out, "Time is unorthodox, and so is your fate."

"Time is unending and so is the omniverse itself. Time has committed something valuable. Its successor, its creator, its own true self. The Trial of time has started."
