Reincarnated In Testament Of New Devil
Chapter 8 - Mission Accomplished
Basara got up early in the morning. He wore his hero battle outfit. This outfit was the typical attire of all heroes. And it looked the same for a heroes, only difference was the color. Basara's one had violet color signifying that he ranked S. The colors for each rank are F-brown, E-orange, D-, C-yellow, B-silver, (B+)-sky blue, A- indigo, (A+)- turquoise, AA- dark blue, AAA- navy blue, S- violet, (S+)-jade, SS-crimson, SSS-azure, (SSS+)-saphire. The SSS+ was a rank even Jin hadn't reached. It's color wasn't that of a low grade Sapphire, but that of the highest grade Sapphire. A magnificent color indeed. The reason the SSS+ Rank wasn't mentioned is because everyone thought that it was absolutely impossible for someone to reach this rank. After all if the strongest hero Jin Toujou couldn't, then who could? But in the future Basara would.
After finishing his preparations and saying goodbye this father and friends, Basara set out for the Earl river. A village named 'Earl Village' was situated in the bank of this river. Basara didn't walk to the village like an idiot. He used his wind magic to fly to his destination. It didn't take him more than ten minutes to reach the place, due to his insane speed. The place was very far away from the hero village. Otherwise why would the timelimit be three weeks.
After reaching the place, Basara first went inside the village. The village was like a haunted place. It was empty and there was no sound. It seems that I'm fear of the goblins, all the villagers had locked themselves up in their houses. Even though goblins don't attack during the daytime, you can never know what might happen in the future.
Basara walked over to the biggest house in the village. He understood that it was the House of the village chief. He knocked on the door three times in a particular pattern. This particular pattern of knocking the doors was a traditional way of the hero village to notify someone that the one knocking on their doors were heroes.
After knocking on the doors, he could hear footsteps walking towards the door. The door was opened by an old man who was possibly in his seventies. This old man was the chief of Earl village. The old man greeted Basara and told him to come inside. He took Basara to the guestroom and quickly used his telephone to notify all the villagers to come to his house.
Afterwards the entire village had gathered in his house. He led them all to the guestroom where Basara was sitting. He introduced everyone to Basara.
"Everyone this is the young man sent from the hero clan to save our village."
Basara stood up and introduced himself to the villagers.
"I'm Basara Toujou. I've come ere to exterminate the red goblins."
"Thank you for coming here to protect our village."
"Please save us."
"Please kill those goblins."
All the villagers started talking until the chief told them to quiet down. He explained the situation to Basara.
"Young hero, I'm sure you must know the reason why we called you here. Those goblins have set up a tribe in a cave near the river. Every night they attack the village, kill our people. They also kidnapped all our females and children. Please save them all!" Including the chief everyone bowed to Basara and requested his help.
"It's alright I'll save them. But since when was the goblins tribe established?"
Basara went into deep thought after hearing that. Goblins are monsters who kill males of other species and take their females to mate. And these were red goblins no less. Since it was a tribe full of them, they could've easily destroyed this entire village in a single night. Then why didn't they do so? And why were they kidnapping children? Something didn't smell right. Basara had a hunch but he wasn't sure.
He reassured all the villagers and told them that he would begin his mission at night. All of them returned to their houses. Basara had a long chat with the village chief and had some rest till nightfall.
When the sun set, Basara was ready. He went out of the village chief's house and went to the village gates. Using his fire magic, he formed a barrier around the village. Then he walked to the river. With his keen eyesight, he could see a cave near the river. He hid behind a tree sensing some movement near the cave. Several red goblins came out of the cave and headed toward the village. Basara didn't kill them because he didn't want to take chances.
He could easily kill the entire tribe bit the problem was he also needed to save the captured women and children. Because when he starts killing the goblins, they'll immediately kill their captives and Basara didn't want that to happen. After the goblins went to the village, Basara used his space magic to turn himself invisible. He then entered the cave and saw several hundreds of goblins. There were several Goblins chiefs. Goblins chiefs are the leaders of goblins tribes. There's usually one child, so why are there so many around here. Basara went further inside.
He saw a large red goblin sitting on a throne. His suspicion was correct. This place as a freaking Goblin King. If this was known than the mission would have been A+ rank. Goblin Kings are extremely strong goblins and they have the power of a B rank, but since this one's a Red Goblin King it's ranking would be A.
Basara went inside and found all the hostages. The women and children were tied to the cave walls with ropes. It seems that they haven't been touched yet. It's understandable because Goblin Kings tend to have intelligence enough to make decisions like humans, though they can't talk. This Goblin King is making the decisions.
But Basara wasn't one to just stand stand around. He ready had enough. He placed a barrier around the hostages so that no one could even touch them. He took all the children and directly teleported to the village chief's house. He handed them to the chief and teleported back inside the cave. The goblins were stunned to see the children disappear like that. They tried to o something, but when they would touch he barrier it would burn them to ashes.
Basara appeared before them. He set the entire place on fire burning a the goblins to ash before they could even try and do anything. But the Goblin King didn't die though it took some damage, it wasn't badly hurt. He picked up a huge axe and swing it down on Basara. Basara caught the axe with his hand. His hand was covered in his aura protecting him from any harm. He then punched the Goblin in his stomach, with his hands covers with his aura and it make the goblin spurt blood.
The Goblin fell on the floor. He summoned wind magic in his hand. It looked like a small tornado was surrounding his palm. He released the magic that it the Goblin King's body to shreds. Basara completed his mission rather easily, well he did know this is how it would end.
Basara then went to the women and released them. The women after opening their eyes were surprised to see Basara. They had never seen such a handsome young boy. Their cheeks flushed red and all of them started panting. Well this was expected. When a man completes the Master-Servant vow, his body releases pheromones that attract women of the same age and older. It would awaken their s.e.x.u.a.l d.e.s.i.r.es. The age of these women ranged from their eighteens to forties. They all looked hot and gorgeous. Looking at their flushed faces activated his own d.e.s.i.r.es.
Then Basara had a sinister thought in mind. After completing the mission, Basara tapped a button on his tablet notifying the guild that the mission was completed. Now he had a rest period of three weeks. A dark thought flashed in Basara's mind. This was going to be great.
