Today it the twentieth day since I came to this world... Ten more days till the First Wave... Given that we will just save the village instead of fighting the boss monster in the Wave, our current strength is more than enough...

Raphtalia started calling me Daddy since yesterday... I should thank the black dog which sacrificed itself to make this happen... If I could bring it back alive, I would have definitely done that... That's how much I am grateful to that dog...

It was already evening by the time we stopped showering Raphtalia with kisses... And after that, we realized that we were drenched the dog's blood... I absorbed the dog's body into the shield and fortunately, there is a waterfall in the cave, so we cleaned ourselves...

We collected the light metal ore as much as we can and sold it in Riyute with a little bit of discount... They found out that I am the Shield Hero by the way... Well, it doesn't matter... I still have to save this village in the future after all... We still got a good price for it... We are crazily rich now...

Raphtalia - "Daddy, Let's go hunt more monsters !!"

Hiro - "Give it a break, Raphtalia... You already killed the boss monster... We need to go to some other place with strong monsters... Hmm... Maybe a dungeon... I should ask Rose about it... For now, just go and play..."

When did she become this good at logic... Well, I guess her mind also m.a.t.u.r.ed a little with her level... Eclair couldn't say anything against that logic... She started pinching Raphtalia's cheek...

Raphtalia - "Mommy... It hurtshh..."

Eclair - "My dear daughter, when did you become so cheeky like your father ??"

Raphtalia smiled even though she is being pinched...

Raphtalia - "Hehehe... Who knowshh..."

Raphtalia escaped from Eclair's grip and went outside to play... I started laughing...

Hiro - "Hahaha... Your daughter is becoming good at words than you, Eclair..."

Eclair - "It's your fault !! She is getting your cunning and cheeky attitude because you spoiled her too much !!"

Hiro - "Hey, hey... How is it my fault ?? I am just getting what my daughter wishes !!"

Eclair - *Sigh* "Yandere personality from me and cunning attitude from you... I am worried about her future..."

Hiro - "Nah, she will be fine... We will always be there for her after all..."

Both of us smiled... Raphtalia came back without her ball...

Eclair - "What happened to your ball ??"

Hiro - "Did you damage it ?? Do you want me to buy you another one ??"

Raphtalia - "Nah... I realized that I am growing and I gave the ball to the kids nearby who looked like they want it... I don't want to play with it anymore !!"

Eclair - "Come on, just because you grew a little, you started acting like an a.d.u.l.t ??"

Raphtalia pouted at Eclair...

Raphtalia - "I am growing !! I am not a kid anymore !!"

Eclair - "My daughter is already at her rebellious phase..."

Raphtalia is saying the truth... I can see it in her eyes... Haa... They grow so fast...

Raphtalia - "By the way, Mommy, I have a doubt..."

Eclair - "What is it ??"

Raphtalia - "When I marry daddy, should I still be calling you Mommy or should I call you sister ??"

Eclair started pinching Raphtalia's cheeks again...

Eclair - "I think my daughter is really eager to get a punishment..."

I lifted her, rotated her, hugged her and started patting her...

Eclair - "You cheeky little..."

Eclair was about to catch her but Raphtalia escaped easily... And while she is escaping, Raphtalia said to me...

Raphtalia - "By the way, Daddy... I won't be possessive like Mommy !! You can have as many brides as you want along with me !!"

Eclair - "Stop right there !! You really need some punishment !!"

Raphtalia - "Kyaa !! Save me, Daddy !!"
