"Why? Are you shy of kissing your man in the broad daylight outside??"

Evans questioned amusingly. Ivory's cheeks got painted in hues of deep redness. She pushed him away from her and stormed inside the house.

"What?? You call out for me and now runaway inside pushing me away?? Not fair..."

Evans shouted as he too headed inside, following the woman who he had fallen for eventually without even his own knowledge.

All this was seen out by her as she stood on the edge of the huge French window, hiding behind the curtain in his house.

Her hands curled in a fist as she saw them kissing furiously inside the house through the window. Her eyes could not take it...she could not believe it that he got it over...he was over her...this soon...she had no idea...

When the couple fell down on the sofa, disabling her to watch of them anymore, she looked away.

She huffed as she thought of what she just saw and tried processing it. She never had a mental halt. But this was just too much.

She looked around the living room which was empty and in the dark as all the curtains were closed blocking the sunlight to seep in through the window.

She moved near the wall where a few photos were hung on the right side. It was of his mother...the mother he could never stop talking about of how great of a physicist she was.

Enola, her name was still to date popular in the fields of physics. Her contribution to the wave theory could never be forgotten during the nuclear war times.

A few photos of some places...she could identify them as in Canada, Slovenia, and Ukraine. Those were his favorite places.

The last photo was of the woman...the woman she just saw him pressing his lips too. God knows what they were doing inside the house right then. She knew the answer to that and decided to ignore it.

Nobody liked to imagine their ex-husband having s.e.x with another woman. So she stepped aside and roamed around the rest of the living room. The house was so quiet and empty. It had no female touch.

So she made her way upstairs trying to see the place around. She did not know why she was exploring the place all by herself but she just wanted to see what he had and what he did not have.

As she moved up, her fingers traced the walls liking the smoothness of the wallpaper.

It had been a while since she had been inside a real house where people live. All the life she had spent it on labs and small apartments.

This was what he always spoke about...spoke about them having a house somewhere away from the outskirts of the town with him, her, and their future children but she never wanted a life like that.

The bedroom was simple. With just a round bed with white sheets over it. Some tea leaves to the pot. It was very spacious and nothing more was there.

"What are you doing here??"

Emily turned back to see him standing by the door frame with an expression that screamed that he was not expecting her.

In the bright sunny day, Cole continued with his practice as he tried the new aligning the ray and waves together trying to create a rope out of it.

He did not know much about this new technique as he was still learning about it.

Meanwhile the robot could just not stop nagging him about how it was necessary for him to learn and practice the flying session too.

He kept denying that now was not the time as he kept doing what he had been doing for a hour time now.

He had plans of looking for Vinny after his practice. It had been quite a long time since they both hung out or even played games.

Speaking of playing games, Cole forbid all of them not to knowing it could be a simulation.

'You are so dramatic, boy. When danger will strike and it will be the time to fly, even when you would not want it, the auto system will fly you away right away and you would have no control over it. Then what?? What are you going to do then?? Haha haha.'

The robot explained as its machinery sound started laughing. Cole had to enclose his ears to protect his eardrums from that irritating noise.

How many times he had asked this stupid robot not to laugh but it just would not listen to him anytime. By now he did not know if it even considered him his master or not...

"We will see about that when the time will come. Right now I want to really master the use of rays and waves. This is what the entire system is about and made of right??"

Cole said as he continued the use of striking rays and waves together. He kept the mode out of the visible range of the people's eyes, thus nobody could watch what he was doing.

'Well do whatever you want. The state is already after you. The entire world. Not to forget the space civilization too wants to see what the humanity has created for its protection and safety. So in a way, everyone out there is after you.'

The robot declared and Cole stopped working altogether. He knew about it. Not like he did not know. It was just how strange and uneasy to know everyone inside the planet and outside the planet, everyone was after him.

It gave him creeps, chills, not a good feeling. Just then a flame object passed right through him taking him by shock as he turned to look back at what was that.

The people started running from the park as they also got to see a large flame covered object was flying up in the sky and was about to fall anytime now.

'Damn! NASA again calculated the numbers wrong. This asteroid is big enough to burn down the entire city.'

"What?? What are you saying??"

'Cole fly up and kick this rock out. The only way to protect your hometown.'

The investigation team for the vision lenses had entered the fourth day and still no signs of it.

Selena Dion waited and waited for any person..any leader..or any country to call her..call the United Nations and set in.

She paced back and forth in her large condo thinking of what to do and what not to do.

She had been getting pressures from leaders all over the world to address the general public regarding the fact that they had found extraterrestrial life beyond the space realms.

Not to mention the fact that she would also have to state how the earth was under the immediate danger zone of invasion by them as they were open to the outer space with no sense of protection from them.

She did not know how to either tell also that how already various alien race had come to earth already.

It was the International Space Agency who posed them from invading the planet and taking it over.

Earth was given a period to build a time table for itself to make a weapon so that it could protect and fight back. It was how the space worked.

If not invasion done then those alien races would have to be allowed to make use of the earth's resources and deploy them to their planet for their use.

It would be by force then and the humankind in here would not be able to do anything.

So it was necessary to build a weapon...something that would be so strong that could not only protect the earth from extraterrestrial invasion but also to make deep space research and continue for the search of a living planet suitable only for the humans.

Those aliens lived in a totally different planet and it was not suitable for humans to live and adapt there.

So the search for a new planet like earth would have to be continued since the population was still increasing and it would eventually outscore any possibility to live on the same planet without the scarcity of resources, no space to live on.

When the search mission passed to the fifth day, Selena Dion could make it that they would not be finding the lenses anytime soon.

Those were special mission search teams and they could find even a missing nail anywhere on the earth in two days maximum time. So it was established that what Doctor Hall said was true.

She could not be finding the lenses anytime sooner. So it was done for. A massive project that humanity had ever built had been lost to someone of whom they even had no idea.

It had just vanished into the thin air and somehow this information when let out would cause uproar everywhere.
