"What time exactly it is though?" Matty questioned.

"I have no idea," Chris replied.

"Me neither." Vin joined, sitting high up on the tree looking out for them.

Cole had never done this but he decided that it was time he did it. He closed his eyes for a flash of second wishing to know the time. He was not sure if it would work out or not. 

"I actually tried to wish to know the time but the barbie said invalid command from an invalid person." Vin let out.

Following what Vin said, Chris did it.

"Invalid command from an invalid person!" The barbie asserted right away.

" See I told you. " Vin grinned from the other side.

"Cole you must try it. You are the leader." Matty spoke.

"I m trying but I m not getting any answer. " Cole answered back.

"Try again maybe?" Chris implored.

Cole nodded his head and wished for it again. This time he did it a little bit differently. He wished to know the game time.

" Game time is a hundred seconds past of the total timing of seven hundred and twenty seconds." 

As soon as Barbie declared, Cole, Vin, Chris, and Matty looked at each other static. This meant they had been here inside the game only for a hundred seconds of the total timing of twelve minutes.

Damn! Time here ran slow....slowest!

"Good job! You have arrived at your destination!" 

The Barbie declared as Cole, Chris, and Matty looked around in search of Vin. As far as they could see, they did not see anyone neither they could see anybody up climbed on the huge cedar trees planted in a zig-zag manner as if it was following a certain pattern which they had no idea of.

The light wind was blowing in the vast desert-like land. A few feet away stood the dark black cave. The sun in this part of the Erangle map shone right above the head as if it was noon. 

"Where is he? Where is he?" 

Matty questioned as he walked backward throwing his question to Cole, Chris, and at the same time everything that surrounded them. 

"We heard you in the first time. " Chris rolled his eyes.

"Is it a problem if I double what I say?" Matty glared.

"Guys...guys...don't be awkward. Why is Vinny not replying?" Cole walked in between Chris and Matty

"I had no idea, man. I mean he is supposed to hear us right? And reply." Matty spoke.

"Vin...if you are hearing...reply...give a hello or something?" Chris let out.

When no reply came, Cole shrugged not knowing what to do or what not to do. The map showed that they had arrived at their required destination. But then where was Vinny? He had not replied to them since the slow time talk they had.

Where was he? Where was he lost? There was no sign of enemies here so there was no way he was fighting. They could only wonder at this point with time ticking away, they got anxious and cautious.

"I swear he is here. " Matty spoke after a brief silence.

Chris and Cole gave him a weird look thinking about what did he mean by that. Although they did not say anything to stop him.

". I m telling you guys...he is here. He is somewhere...in one of these cedar trees hiding, looking at us amusingly as we get tired of waiting for him under the brightly shining sun." Matty elaborated.

"So you mean to say he is playing with us?" Chris implored.

Matty nodded his head, " Exactly...exactly that is what I m trying to say. And we guys are fooling here waiting for him because he is not coming down anytime soon."

Cole walked forward and stopped right in front of Matty, he placed both hands on his shoulder. 

"Stop speaking nonsense. Matty, we have a mission to complete. Don't get so impatient. Maybe we should go and look inside the cave?"

"I was not kidding though. I was stating the fact guys. "

"Keep your facts with you. We do not need them." Chris snorted.

"Well, it's you who don't want to listen. I was telling to Cole. " Matty counter backed.

"Cole did not want to hear too. So shut your mouth, Matty. Nobody wants to hear from you." Chris retorted vehemently.

"Guys....guys...what are you doing?" Cole groaned in annoyance. 

They both just did not understand. That they needed to stay cool, stay together, and try to figure things out but here they were fighting their guts out.

"What? Are you siding up with him? He is being an asshole right now. " Matty violently took steps forward, moving closer towards Chris.

Cole noticed it. He immediately stepped in between Chris and Matty not letting them inching any closer than an arms-length distance between them.

"M I being an asshole? I was stating the truth which your young fourteen ass cannot consume." Chris mocked.

It was perhaps then when they heard the footsteps receding closer towards them and all the three heads turned to look back. It was none other than Vin...

"I m here...now stop fighting." He let out, with a smirk plastered on his pale face.

Matty broke out of Cole's hold and stormed near where Vinny stood and landed a good hefty punch on the guy, knocking him down. 

"Damn! What the f***?" Vinny groaned.

Chris too strode forward and kicked Vin on his front lightly, joining hands with Matty. Cole smiled knowing what was going on finally figuring it out.

"Why the hell everyone kicking my arse?" Vin grunted, laying on the ground.

"Join us, Cole. Give this piece of shit a taste of his own medicine." Matty called out for Cole.

Vin gave his puppy a cute face towards Cole making him laugh. It was his way of saying sorry. They all knew that Vin being Vin, he would not just come down like someone else or anyone else would and hence Chris and Matty started to fight amongst each other. 

Cole did not understand that first but now he did. He thought they were fighting for real but they were not. It was to bring Vin down because he was just not going to come down. It was after all Vin, they were talking about.

"That is not how you greet your long lost friend." Vin accused, standing up with the help of Cole.

He quickly engulfed Cole in for a bone-crushing hug. It had been a while since they saw each other. One day, they were at school, talking about winning the match and now they wake up to this whole new world of which they had no idea of and were completely stuck inside of it if they did not win the game and figure out the rest. But winning the game did not sound easy either anymore.

"So guys...we are here. All four together. We should decide the plan how to come out as winner." Matty recited. 

"What is the time?" Vin asked.

Cole wished for the game time again and barbie replied right away with that they had a total of seven hundred and one seconds left in their hands. 

"We know Viku will be there. And also others. All of them we were having a match with are here." Chris said.

"We need more weapons than just the spare gun we picked up." Vin asserted.

"That is absolutely true." Cole nodded.

"And we need to come up with a plan of the highest kill. We need to know who has the highest kill and in that way, we can know how much more we have to kill to win." Vin stretched.

"But how do we do that?" Chris intervened.

"Cole...Cole try wishing it. Wish for knowing who has the highest kill in the game right now. " Matty directed towards Cole.

"Yes. Only you can do it. " Vin affirmed.

Cole nodded his head, "Can you guys give me at least a second to do that. It needs concentration and calmness of mind else it does not work. " 

"Take all the time of your life but remember we are running out of time too. " Vin chuckled.

Cole shook his head in disapproval and walked feet away from the three of them as they continued to talk about how they discovered how they were stuck in a game and how they survived so long.

Cole closed his eyes and wished. 

"Invalid command!"
